2020 NFL Draft Round 2 and 3 Discussion.
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2 2nd round offensive tackles, 1st rounder for diggs, 3rd round RB and TE. Hell even a 2nd round WR. Let's not act like they just draft defense. -

How much better does Dobbins make them? They had the number 1 rushing offense by a mile without him. -

Part of me thinks they liked Akers at RB and he didn't make it there -

I don't think so. It's hard to play hard ball with your players but its like - Dawkins... You are not top 5, or even top 10 really at your position. Why should i make you the highest paid? -

They have a few talented guys on their team, but their WRs are not strong. Enunwa got a big extension and continued to get injured. Doctson is a flame out, Perrimans a borderline flameout, and crowder is playing the jarvis landry role in the short passing game. -

I doubt they do anything with WRs - but remember the 5th and 6th are free picks that they received from Bodine/Teller trades - so found money. The 4th next year to me means every other pick in 2021 is off limits. -

If it happened it would have to be a team that had Kelvin Benjamin Zay Jones and Andre Holmes as starters in 2018.... -

For me if its someone like Higgins? Could be just a BPA value style pick. It depends how the draft falls. -

They have potential to be stars in this defense. Neal's made some plays, but mostly plays special teams. Marlowe has 13 tackles and is 27 - so I don't think he's being counted on to play meaningful snaps. -
I only watched one USC game and he specifically got his ass kicked by Epenesa in that game FWIW. It was a Jerry pick for sure - I don't even know how that fits into the offense. He's not really like - a slot weapon? Will be interesting to see how they incorporate having Cooper, Gallup, Lamb, and zeke.

Only 1 back was taken which is about as good as you can hope for (as one of the champions of RB as a need) - Only problem is there are a few teams in front of buffalo who could look at a dobbins, swift, taylor. So i expect you to be hoping Miami, Jax, TB, Rams, and Falcons don't snag them. I think the Falcons have no defense, the rams will probably prioritize offensive line, the jags will want to move fournette for something in this draft, the bucs need defense help. Detroit or Indy could go for guys here too depending on the player. Same with the Jets, who may want someone a bit more explosive as they inevitably move on from Bell. Still - Its quite possible any of those 3 are there, and its also quite possible that Beane likes Moss or Akers more ? Gotta love draft season

His basement looks like... everyone i know's basement. Apparently he's not a super flashy guy. Maybe he's big into expensive hobbies or has vacation homes. Boating, fishing, big game hunting, flying planes.. who knows. -
Gronkowski dead Cap: Pat's Fail

Depends on camp/preseason. It's going to be condensed, and they'll probably know then whether they think he can win with stidham. -

Yeah - fins traded tunsil post draft and camp last year and still got 1sts... but that was bill obrien. Does he have anything left to trade for Ngakoue? -

That would have to go down mid-draft i would think. They'd want to trade for a specific pick for a specific player. I mean - michel/white vs. mixon/bernard. The oline is a maaaassive upgrade. WR's of Harry, Edelman, maybe sanu vs. Boyd and... ross? Plus McDaniels as OC, and a top defense. He has to do a lot less. -

Looks like he costs 10 mil to the bucs and nothing to NE. They need to replace sanu before they can cut him - this is probably a good draft to do it. If they move Thuney their oline just opens up a huge hole at LG. They made due with Newhouse at LT last year with Wynn hurt again ... and we know that newhouse stinks. I feel like the guy next to him likely propped him up. They get andrews back - and mason/cannon are pretty good. Do you open the huge hole at LG to spread money around or try and fix QB? I guess? It's a tough year with all the dead money, you either let it happen and re-stock in 2021 - or try and figure out how to bandaid QB. I know the bengals are cheap, but they aren't cutting dalton, they'll wait for a more appropriate value. Winston might even be cheaper for NE since he lost the musical chairs game.
