Vick came back from prison for dog fighting. If he still looks the part in a workout, and is willing to accept a backup spot, he can find a job. Cam Newton's still a free agent at this point though which hurts his chances. Arizona could be a good spot for him - even with the time off i think he's an upgrade over hundley.

Texans and Cowboys players test positive

They should be able to afford said daily testing too. -
WaPo article on Bills by John Clayton

I think a more effective running game is a big start, limiting penalties would help too. I don't think they need to necessarily rush more, just utilize the moss/singletary backfield better. Gore had an alright start, but by the end of the season he was just not gaining yards. 2nd and 4-6 is so much better than 2nd and 8-11 - you have more of the playbook at your disposal. -
How would you feel about a 6 game NFL season?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to JetsFan20's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just have some kind of tournament at that point. Not that you could get the players to play for the amount of money they'd get. -
Right... We know all of that now. There are concerns with Tua too. 13 on the wonderlic. Other than lamar jackson who else has been remotely successful with a score that low? Rumored issues with the white board at the combine. Injury issues I think the callout of his absurd talent at WR and OT is something to keep in mind. Physical talent is there - but did these guys make it a bit easier for him? Can't really deny that.

Josh Allen and the Check Down Pass
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Protocal69's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
An improved run game should help with creating more makeable 3rd downs. They also seemed to have a fair amount of penalties, and sacks on 1st and 2nd downs. Get that sack rate a bit lower on 1st/2nd down by running more quick hitters... OR by checking down if you don't like the main route. No - but i hate when a QB throws a 4 yard out route to a TE on 3rd and 13. -
He might end up signing for about that much. There's rumors of the cap going down in 2021 so teams are going to want to carry over more than normal. That cap space we have now might be earmarked for Milano/dawkins/tre. Does he want to sign at a place with hughes and addison? He's traditionally played roughly 80% of snaps when healthy. Depending which side he plays on - he might be looking at say - 50-60%. Assuming he plays on say hughes side. Also - if he's so good... why are Murphy's stats from 2019 better than Clowneys?

Quarterback sneaks and Josh Allen stats
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah - Power and zone plays have the potential to get blown up, especially with that many players along the LOS. If you sneak on 3rd and 1 and don't get it - you're very likely at 4th and less than half a yard. -
Shaq Lawson weighs in about some of our QBs.

I don't think he'll ever be a 10 sack guy. I don't think that they got him to be that. Between him and Ogbah they've got edge setters to help with their terrible rush defense. Wilkins another year in and adding van noy as a rusher should help the pass rush too. They went the secondary route to get tougher against the pass. -
LJ was able to hit on more deep throws last year. He's also more accurate on those TE throws. Roman WR's typically run a ton of hitches/outs/fly routes so its simple to read for the QB, and then the TE's kind of work off of that. Lots of condensed sets to make it easier to run the ball, and identify mis-matches post-snap. Kaepernick had the arm strength for all those, but he'd sail a lot. He also held the ball more, resulting in more sacks.

Jake Fromm: Controversial comments
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Elite Poster's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We did actually sign like - 3 players to replace him in a way. Addison for pass rushing, Klein for LB, and Maketivich for teams. -
My only issue is - in a 12 personnel grouping he's a running threat. He wouldn't be getting lamar jackson numbers, but you saw how successful ball control and defense was for them last year. NE already has a defense thats pretty beast, and good at taking the ball away. Add another dynamic threat to their run game and it could be a pretty big problem. You can't bring in CK and just go - we're running the tom brady offense. It's the same reason you couldn't bring in Cam. Rocket arms, not the type of pinpoint accuracy that makes a bunch of short stuff into bigger stuff - but they can move the pocket and make some plays with their feet when necessary.

At the end of the day - if we truly don't believe people can change. Then whats this all for? I think liking tweets and having a full heart to heart discussion with a teammate are a big difference. -
