Raiders Defense - Credit to Daboll
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He'll make great plays when he doesn't set his feet. But i watched that entire game. He spiked quite a few and missed some easy swing passes for the same reasons. The INT was on 4th down so you may as well force something than take a sack. The Raiders seemed to spy him too. Keeps his eyes down field but it seemed to make him uncomfortable. He made some great throws while scrambling, but he completed like 50% of passes. He missed some easy ones too. He also tries to initiate contact as he goes out of bounds to get calls. So if you're going to get the call anyway, may as well let him have it. -
Do we make a trade or wing it?

The blocker did kind of get kicked into the hole up the middle, but the LB leverage was going to the right IIRC. The RB can probably break it? The screenshot on twitter is very misleading as to what actually happened. As for making trades - no. You roll with what you have for depth. -

I don't hate it. You get the first down and its game over, you can literally kneel it out. I don't think i run into a like... 11 man box though. I know they'd been successful running it but it was a long 1, and seattle had a lot of guys there. I might have also called a TO before/let the 2 minute warning run/tried a hard count. -
Thank you Doug Marrone!

Yeah - playing to not get hurt and not screw up. Not exactly the mentality of a leader, or a playmaker. -
It's like the madden franchise. I was never going to play out year 3 anyway.

Patricia is going to need a miracle to save his job. I think they're going to keep Fangio another year though. He's legit on the 3rd QB this year, and they're missing casey, bouye, miller, barron, sutton all on IR. I'm not sure how good Buffalo would be doing with Allen, Oliver, White, Diggs, and Milano out for all the games.

Hypothetical: Chances we regret losing Daboll?

Of the possibles in like Houston, Atlanta, NYJ, Detroit... NYJ is probably the least like wanted job out there. -
Week 4 Around the league.

He's been injured a lot, he still throws the fastball but man he has some misses. I think a slower release and just - no chemistry with anyone on the field (oline, wide receivers, etc.) is making him look even worse. -
Allen has stopped running??? Any reason

He's been able to harm man coverage in the air more than with his legs this year - in the past that wasn't the case. -
[Incomplete Title] Down 14 in 4th Quarter
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to djp14150's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From what I remember its a win probability thing. If u score the 2 tds and kick xps, u cannot win the game. Going for 2 the first time gives u a 6 pt deficit, this gives u a chance to win the game. If u go for 2 the 2nd time, u lose if u don't get it. If u don't get it the first time u just have to try and get it again - which is the same basic coin flip as the first one. And if you make it on the first attempt, you would kick to win. 2 XPs gives u a 0 percent chance of victory on 2 possessions. -
Agree. Conservative calls could've put buffalo up 17 late.

Postgame Thread: Bills at Raiders

Couple of forced fumbles, big 4th down stop, held them to FGs when it mattered. They were better than they have been. Hopefully this helps them get some swagger back.
