  1. Addison lead the team in sacks and TFLs. Butler I feel was forced to play out of position, and jefferson has as well. The interior has been a mess and a lot of that is missing star on early downs. I don't think keeping both makes sense at this point - as i don't believe either has really outplayed or even pushed oliver that much. Addison is probably the one of the 3 i wouldn't release.
  2. Allen seems to have the understanding of what to do after they shut the communication off though. If we tried that i think were getting gus/ricard/andrews and a lot of hurt. He had the same problem in San Francisco too.
  3. I kinda like mckenzie more than stills as a receiver threat at this juncture. We already have 5 WRs with skill sets - Only way i think he goes, is if bease can't.
  4. Which is crazy - they are season ticket holders who were willing to get covid tested to get into a game. Now they lose their tickets... and will likely get arrested if they ever get in trouble at a game again (If you're banned you are trespassing)
  5. Would the eagles consider roman? Or are they set on trying to lure a college coach like Riley?
  6. The only guy i might consider is shula, since he has relationships with McD and Dorsey. I'd probably prefer dorsey
  7. 10-2 makes me think he gets a re-trial. Re-trials are always tough (some assumption of guilt by the jury), its even tougher when you already were convicted and have no new evidence.
  8. Allen was thrust into the role based on poor performance of the QBs in front of him on the depth chart. While his numbers weren't great - he flashed for sure. I think you can find game managers without using a top pick.
  9. So he goes from prison to jail, and they do a re-trial?
  10. Move around the draft, push picks back, use them to trade for vets. No way I'd trade watson. Fix the relationship.
  11. The run game just seems to be occaisional big plays. They arent consistently pushed back, it seems to be lots of big pops.
  12. Baker is a bit like tannehill/goff - when he's working that offense is a machine. When they get behind the sticks, or he gets a lot of pressure - things tend to go downhill quickly. I think he's better and has potential to be much better than both. Lamar won an MVP. He's shown to be a dynamic runner, and is the main component of a top 10 scoring offense. He's averaged 3000 yards 31 TDs and like 7 int's over the 2 years starting, also averaged another 1100 and 7 TDs on the ground. He'll get paid. If you're first everyone will say you overpaid - but then the other 2 get paid and it kinda balances out.
  13. I think you just build the O around oline, TEs, and lamar. Keep him surrounded with young running backs, and speed WRs.
  14. But trading him, glenn, 1st rounder for the next cutler? gross.
  15. My buddy always mentions that i was legit his only friend who wanted allen. And the reasoning was that there was the potential there to be a star, and i didn't see that with rosen. Felt like his ceiling was cutler. Why are you making all these moves (trading glenn, tyrod etc) to try and get the next cutler?
  16. Good read. Also nice to see buffalo snagged one of them!
  17. If you thought you might go on 4th, you gotta run your brissett package on 3rd down. Or pass on 3rd. You can't lose yards there.
  18. Up 24-10 they ran the ball for like 50 yards on 2 plays in that like 5 play drive. the next drive they had another huge hines run. We got away from what we were doing and expected them to attack down the field.
  19. I don't think they'd overlook. Maybe there's a let down after last week, but i don't think you get overlooked at 13-3 with like 9 straight wins.
  20. Yep - and the playcalling HC might not listen to the coordinator saying - maybe we don't run a weird outside run at the goalline here, just do the brisset play we've been doing all year. I think it works both ways, daboll sends in a call and McD can probably say - i think we sneak it in etc. We got into soft zone and prevent, and they just ran it.
  21. Miscommunication on the TD, 3 big runs totaling like 80 yards across 2 TD drives. Can't happen.
  22. I don't really disagree. Nickel CBs were always traditionally smaller to match up with slot WRs. But as teams start bringing athletic freaks onto the team, and moving them around the formation, its nice to have someone to match up physically.
