  1. Has he been noticeably bad? Seems like no pressure, Norman getting roasted, and Taron Johnson being terrible on 3rd downs.
  2. Not gonna read all the threads... but... Johnson has been terrible. 3rd and 20? Thats 4 points on the board, maybe 7 if u can make a play. Defense can't sit here 3 and 4 deep and not expect them to find soft spots. Not getting pressure. Run game is terrible.
  3. I think they draft someone like Fields and ryan has a final year. I don't think you get much of anything trading ryan - Julio or maybe Jarrett can get you a return.
  4. He'll make great plays when he doesn't set his feet. But i watched that entire game. He spiked quite a few and missed some easy swing passes for the same reasons. The INT was on 4th down so you may as well force something than take a sack. The Raiders seemed to spy him too. Keeps his eyes down field but it seemed to make him uncomfortable. He made some great throws while scrambling, but he completed like 50% of passes. He missed some easy ones too. He also tries to initiate contact as he goes out of bounds to get calls. So if you're going to get the call anyway, may as well let him have it.
  5. The blocker did kind of get kicked into the hole up the middle, but the LB leverage was going to the right IIRC. The RB can probably break it? The screenshot on twitter is very misleading as to what actually happened. As for making trades - no. You roll with what you have for depth.
  6. I don't hate it. You get the first down and its game over, you can literally kneel it out. I don't think i run into a like... 11 man box though. I know they'd been successful running it but it was a long 1, and seattle had a lot of guys there. I might have also called a TO before/let the 2 minute warning run/tried a hard count.
  7. Who knows. Doesn't sound like Bills players even know. Seems like this is the test to see if they can just play through some of the covid outbreak. No other way to say it, buffalo is getting screwed.
  8. Bringing in Conklin to play next to him definitely helped. But he's definitely noticeably better in year 3. Him trotter Conklin is a great right side. Wills is playing well for them on the left too. They look like a much better team with the improved line.
  9. Yeah - playing to not get hurt and not screw up. Not exactly the mentality of a leader, or a playmaker.
  10. It's like the madden franchise. I was never going to play out year 3 anyway.
  11. Patricia is going to need a miracle to save his job. I think they're going to keep Fangio another year though. He's legit on the 3rd QB this year, and they're missing casey, bouye, miller, barron, sutton all on IR. I'm not sure how good Buffalo would be doing with Allen, Oliver, White, Diggs, and Milano out for all the games.
  12. Bad spot. And i don't know that you get the first down, so you can't challenge it.
  13. Of the possibles in like Houston, Atlanta, NYJ, Detroit... NYJ is probably the least like wanted job out there.
  14. He's been injured a lot, he still throws the fastball but man he has some misses. I think a slower release and just - no chemistry with anyone on the field (oline, wide receivers, etc.) is making him look even worse.
  15. Chiefs, Ravens, Steelers.. That was a tough slate. But losing at home to Minnesota, with a tough remaining schedule? It's not gonna be easy for them the rest of the way.
  16. Missing the xp made me feel like it was karma for the dumb call to kick it.
  17. He's been able to harm man coverage in the air more than with his legs this year - in the past that wasn't the case.
  18. Threw it about 60 yards and gave his guy a chance. If he throws it 70 yards and into the turf it doesn't really matter. I just think timing and accuracy 60 yards down the field are tougher to judge. He's not wilson... yet
  19. From what I remember its a win probability thing. If u score the 2 tds and kick xps, u cannot win the game. Going for 2 the first time gives u a 6 pt deficit, this gives u a chance to win the game. If u go for 2 the 2nd time, u lose if u don't get it. If u don't get it the first time u just have to try and get it again - which is the same basic coin flip as the first one. And if you make it on the first attempt, you would kick to win. 2 XPs gives u a 0 percent chance of victory on 2 possessions.
  20. Agree. Conservative calls could've put buffalo up 17 late.
  21. Couple of forced fumbles, big 4th down stop, held them to FGs when it mattered. They were better than they have been. Hopefully this helps them get some swagger back.
  22. All that stuff messes up run fits, you also have the element of a very heavy PA/screen offense that puts the DBs and LBs on their heels.
