  1. Buffalo spotting them insane field position all night certainly helped the cause.
  2. At the end of the day - allen has 9 picks and 9 fumbles. These are considerably higher than rodgers (4 picks, 3 fumbles), and Mahomes (5 picks, 5 fumbles).
  3. I think a designed rollout is fine - typically its coming out of play action, and its a hi-low read with a scramble as the last option. He can make those throws I think. It's when he's moving around the pocket when he tends to drop his eyes and make mistakes.
  4. If he can't step into his throws he tends to miss. Play action, he'll set up super deep like brees so he can see the field better. He's not super athletic, but when hes rolling out he tends to fade back and right which will result in turnovers or throwaways.
  5. My least favorable would be Indy and Baltimore. I think they both have defenses that are capable of giving Buffalo's offense problems. I like that buffalo has seemed to figure out how to hurt teams more that started playing in shell zones. Getting a healthy john brown back would help there even more - his route running has improved and he's usually money on the hitch.
  6. My 2 cents.. Rivers in buffalo - his arm is not great. They do have a seriously solid offensive line though, and a run game that's starting to really find its footing. They also feature the best defense in this group Browns - Mayfield looks solid, has the arm - when the pocket is solid. Muddy that up and he tends to fade, and his throws aren't on target. They also have a solid o-line and running game. Their defense is probably the worst in this group. Ravens - LJ poses problems as its unlike what you see any other week, solid running attack. They have speed on offense but they don't really throw deep often. They have a lot of talent on defense and the goal is to make you 1 dimensional. I mean... you got a half field read there. You have to throw it.
  7. They have one of the worst defenses in the NFL. They need talent all over. Lots more draft picks, but at some point you have to dump the caldwell misses. Getting the right free agents is important for them this year.
  8. Darnold's burned through his entire rookie contract. Rebuild around a new rookie.
  9. If you buy out the option year I'd say 5 and 200. Makes him 2nd highest paid qb, and it's probably an overpay.
  10. I mean... that playoff team had Campbell, ngakoue, Ramsey, bouye, gipsob, telvin Smith, and Malik Jackson. The current team has none of those players. They have josh allen DE, still have jack... lots of 2020 picks. But they have about as much in common as buffalo does with their 2017 playoff team.
  11. I thought Diggs got it before 4th down tbh
  12. He had time to throw that away though. In that situation too? Can't do that.
  13. Same. I'd probably cry if they lost the super bowl too.
  14. Whats with grudens strange obsession with bills offensive players? Shouldn't you want the defensive ones from the last 5 years? Incognito? Sure... but Peterman, O'leary, jones? Why? Everyone was criticizing him for icing his kicker - and its like.. you have to do that. And its not his fault herbert took a terrible sack there.
  15. Yeah, i felt like Pitt was a game you'd think he'd have done more. Getting behind the backers in a zone blitz look. I'm not sure if they just don't have that trust there yet - but it seems like daboll has him heading out to the boundaries more often.
  16. Interesting that the comparison is kittle there at the end (simply as an athletic upside player comparison, with little production). And Kittle didn't have Metcalf and AJ brown at WR either.
  17. Yeah - a lot of these guys treat it like basketball. The first down signals, the incompletion signals, all the jawing after plays. I liked the quick high five and line back up - communicate with teammates etc. But they're pro's and I sell software so they're probably on to something...
  18. I've always been like that too. I played catcher growing up, and then played some first base later on and you just get into the habit of chatting. In football even playing corner I never really talked much though. I always found i got called for less penalties by being less vocal. Lots of guys like to get into the other guys head by talking, but i'd usually be more of the "nice catch, good play" kinda guy.
  19. Right. Kittle is a really solid blocker so for their PA/run game he's super valuable. Also a load to tackle. Kelce is insanely good, just such a matchup nightmare in the RZ and so much faster than he looks. Waller's also a freak athlete. Also - none of those guys were drafted in the first round.
  20. I doubt he'll ever be Kelce or Kittle... and thats OK. I'm not of the opinion that a TE is turning this offense from top 10 to top 3. To get there would mean improvements on the line IMO. They've played better with feliciano in, but the run blocking has been a problem all year and it makes the team more one dimensional. They also need to clean up fumbles as a whole - Knox has a big 2. But 15 total? Plus 9 int's? That's a lot of possessions lost. I'd say with the question marks around Sweeney, and with Kroft likely gone TE should be a mid round draft priority. Maybe 1 of the 2 5ths.
  21. Right - Same goes for butler, and probably Diggs and addison too. Move base salary out of 2021 into a year with a likely larger cap. The chance of getting more term is very low out there currently.
  22. Someone made a point elsewhere - but if the cap hits 175 - a lot of those guys will restructure. Why? Because there is a capped amount of cap space remaining and several of these guys are north of 30. You can take john browns 9m hit, and position most of the base salary into bonuses in 2022, and guarantee another base salary in 2022. So 1 year 9M cap hit becomes like 3.7 on year 1 and like a guaranteed 6-8M in 2022. 1 year 9M becomes 2yr 12M with a 3M cap hit in 2021. Normally the player can say "i'll hit the market" but this market has fewer teams spending, and fewer jobs available. If you lose the musical chairs game your 2 years fully guaranteed 12 could be 1 year 2 million. The players have a ton of risk in free agency this year. Same goes for the dlinemen. Addison and butler are likely to get less money than they did a year ago in a lower cap market. If Buffalo needs space on the butler deal, he extends a 3rd year and gets a 2020 market rate add-on to 2022.
  23. I like going on twitter for news and commentary. I don't like going on there for people who are essentially baiting bills fans into confrontation for clicks. It's annoying, and bills fans are getting a reputation as being insufferable.
  24. Don't even bother. Easier to ignore. I never understood how players could compartmentalize like that but you really do have to completely ignore stuff. If you're tremaine edmunds and you're on twitter after a game you're going to be wondering why everyone hates you or wants you to die.
  25. I've been just ignoring people on twitter. I don't mind criticism of my team - but these guys aren't really football guys. I can't stand the hot take guys with basic numbers as the only thing backing them up. OOO his QB rating was 82 - he must be bad! With 0 context.
