Cowboys - McCarthy is probably playoffs or bust. Giants - Not sure how long a leash judge gets if they stink again. Bears - Nagy is probably on the hot seat even if the GM bought himself some time by making the move for Fields. Raiders - How long do you keep a coach who's been consistently average to below average. Bengals - 6-25-1... when do you start winning? Vikings - Unlikely - they'd really have to bottom out. Texans - Only likely if they finish dead last. Broncos - seems inevitable with no QB. They'll swing for watson tho.

If he hangs them up they can get the bonus money back. He's not going to just show up and play bad on purpose - he's either in or out. These are professional football players.

Atrophy? He could be in the best shape of his life and we would have no idea. Last season the team lost phillips and lawson and replaced them with addison, jefferson, and butler. The one thing they didnt replace was 1T with the opt out, and they didnt bring in anyone this offseason either. Seems his place is fairly secure IMO.

Basically we spread salary into guarantee's to 2021 and 2022. Then he opted out of 2020, so everything essentially pushes back. He'll be here this year, and honestly I'm not super worried about it because the team needs him on early downs.

The last 2 kinda fit together. Could throw player scheme fit in there too. The longer you have the same scheme the more likely you are to have players under contract who fit said scheme. If you keep changing HC's you're likely changing offenses, defenses etc. You might draft a pass rushing OLB who isn't as good a fit with his hand in the dirt every play, or a guard who's big and built more for power rushing than zone.. I don't think you should get a coach to suit your roster, but it just adds to the challenges and turnover as a new coach.

Continuity is great - equally important are talent and health.

They're very similar QBs honestly. They never let a play die, rocket arms that can make ridiculous throws, and both can hurt you with their legs. Kelce gives an edge to Mahomes that we don't have. Beast redzone weapon, matchup nightmare, and some of the best hands in the business. Diggs vs hill - they're very different but dynamic in different ways. Diggs has superior route running, and seems to have a great feel for whats happening on the field. But Hill's speed is just ridiculous so he's a man coverage beast. I'd love to see a Kelce in buffalo's offense, but it wasn't in the cards this year. I don't think its smart to pay jonnu smith and hunter henry "kelce money" to get a vastly inferior player.

Wasnt Benjamin the #1 WR in 2018? And murphy started 9 games for buffalo and was coming off a 2019 playoff game where he played pretty well all things considered. Cap space is nice but you have to replace the player too so you don't really see the full savings anyway. Not to mention in 2020 Buffalo was a contender, you don't make as many decisions with the future in mind.

I think he looks good. He had that hamstring the year before, so hopefully he's building some flexibility to avoid those types of injuries. I could honestly care less about his 40 time, if he improves speed out of cuts and breaks he'll be a weapon in the passing game.

I voted for the bucs. The brady history, and then the fact that they won the super bowl last year makes it a nice measuring stick game.

I personally think Clark and Jones had more of an effect than anything else.

I'm not worried about it. Allen's growth occured at every level of QB - Throwing accuracy, poise under pressure, pre and post snap reads. I don't see how fans will affect it.

I had a good time tailgating there. There was a DJ, and they spun me around in an old barber chair while i shotgunned a beer. The room is probably a dump, but your tailgate basically gets a private bathroom which is kinda nice. The only problem i could see is you're basically trapped on gamedays much like living in the vicinity of the stadium - so just plan ahead.

The production was fairly limited though. 65 catches across 2 seasons.

The problem with the outside zone wasn't always the backs or speed at all. Williams, Knox, Feliciano, morse were all struggling in outside zone. I just felt like the weakside backer was constantly coming in unblocked at an angle to disrupt the play. I'm not sold on singletary, but he was dynamic in 2019. This season it felt like the running attack was always kind of stuck in the mud regardless of the back.

They put some serious cash into the gym and recovery facilities. They have a full indoor practice facility, outdoor facility, and there's a grass field as well. Better film study rooms. Already have all sorts of covid protocols in place (was there for my football league, you have to log in every morning you go and fill out a covid survey) and hosted it there last year anyway.

Could be a weapon against some of those athletic QBs like mahomes and LJ in the playoffs though.

Have to agree. 6 DTs in the first Williams Oliver Wilkins Lawrence Tillery Simmons I don't think any of those players is even head and shoulders above the rest. Williams flashed some pass rush, lawrence has probably been most consistent, and Simmons has flashed some as well. But people also forget that oliver flashed quite a bit too. Also, Haskins has biggest bust locked up in that draft. LJ Collier Gary and Ferrell have also done little as pass rushers through 2 years. Ugh. I hate taylor hall. The one thing i thought for sure he had was hands. WTH happened to him?

If they did win, i'd also say johnson did enough to not start the next game.

Regarding Johnson... I just couldn't get behind it. It was a tremendously poor first half, and I still can't believe he came out to start the 2nd half. Worst offensive output of the season yardage wise. Meddling owner cost the team a shot at a super bowl.

I know he "did enough to win", and there were some questionable calls (kicking on 1st down with 20 seconds left - I know we had no timeouts... get a little creative and you can kick that as time expires - if there's 1-5 seconds on the clock kick it out of bounds and defend a hail mary). But it was a terrible game - 10/22 for 131, took 6 sacks and fumbled twice (lost one and the other was a safety). Sacked on more than 20% of drop backs, completed less than 50% of passes. His inability to evade pressure kept them behind the sticks all game. They had 46 yards at halftime, and 28 of them were rushing yards from the backs. So his 18 pass plays generated 18 yards. I don't even know how he came out and started the 2nd half.
