  1. I think the call of a sneaks fine- but how does the oline not know it's possibly a call (they pass blocked). Also the only player who knew a sneak was coming was klein.
  2. There's definitely a guy on the team who has punted or kicked at some point in their lifetime. Not well, but has done it. The problem is likely that all 3 of these guys would likely hit the reserve list - so now you need a guy to snap it, a guy to punt/kick and a guy to hold it. My guess - centers already do a bit of long snapping drills. The punter and kicker both practice a little bit of doing both. and someone like hyde who's just good at stuff would be your fill in. Agreed. No QB = no points. No kicker means no field goals/extra points. No punter means go for it when its close, and or line up and have allen punt out of a deep shotgun. Every center can probably snap them long, the consistency is the big problem.
  3. Allen doesn't hold the ball very well as a runner. He holds it out wide too often and its easy to punch out.
  4. Actually it would be knox - he lost a fumble and only has 11 touches.
  5. Lynn is getting a ton of flak for the final play sequence. But a lot of that is coming from the barstool gambling community - less so football people. Football people understand that - after a big play with time winding down, the coach is NOT telling the qb what to do. They should have spiked it - but i don't know that lynn is like, get to the line and call a draw. As for the sneak? That was done after the radio is off anyway, so it was definitely a check (which as soon as he checked to it, made no sense because klein went right into the gap. They have lost an absurd number of close games, but he was handicapped with rivers turnovers last year, and has a rookie QB and injuries this year. It's unfair, but he'll probably get canned.
  6. The big thing that bothered me was that people claim they "blew the lead". How? They were winning the entire game, then they won. LA made it a 1 score game, buffalo turned around and made it a 2 score game, and that was the final. They even got hosed by the refs multiple times while making it a 2 score game.
  7. Denver had 1 positive test on like thursday or something - you don't postpone a game for a single positive test. The contact tracing determined that the QBs were dumb and ate lunch together knowing they weren't supposed to do that. This happened to buffalo with Knox and Norman - other players missed the game due to contact tracing. Every postponement situation has had multiple positive tests each day and involved closing facilities down. Denver was sloppy with their QBs and it cost them this game. Every other HC knows you gotta keep one in your back pocket for this situation.
  8. Allen and Davante Adams are guys who will line up in the slot a lot and in bunch sets off the LOS. I don't like playing my top corner in the slot (where he isn't comfortable), in a situation where you can't press. White gave up some plays in this one, but he was basically in 1x1 coverage the entire game, meaning some combination of hyde/poyer/johnson/Edmunds were following allen around and making herbert second guess. I don't know that you can do the same thing against a QB like rodgers with adams, as I'm sure he's better at diagnosing the coverage he's seeing.
  9. Tyreke hill ran backwards and did a backflip into the endzone for no call. How about a LITTLE consistency?
  10. I mean i may have yelled "fall on the F*****G ball!!!!!" to no one in particular as my wife was upstairs not watching the game.
  11. They also scored 27 points with 500 some odd offensive yards and won by 3. Mahomes had like 3 picks called back on penalties too.
  12. I think the INT was diagnosed well - his arm was hit as he threw and it was well short of where it needed to be. That type of flag route should be open against cover 2.
  13. Id say Singletary needs to shore up ball security a bit. Hes not fast and this was another one where they punched it out from behind. I don't know that he has some crazy mental fumbling problem.
  14. Worry about getting Milano healthy first. Then where snaps are going. Klein is bringing some juice on the blitzes, and holding his own in coverage. Not sure Klein has the range for Mike. Hes playing more on the LOS to fit a bit better.
  15. The offensive line has been shuffling week to week almost the entire season. They had a good week this week outside the fumble. Something to build on it seemed like.
  16. Moss had a huge play in this one. And got some BS penalty to bring back half of it.
  17. The 4 fumbles last year was a problem. 1 in 100 or so this year? Thats normal I feel.
  18. Kc just had about 500 yards and scored 27... the blowing sn 18 point argument doesn't hold much sway to me since... they lost by 10 and never tied it. They didn't blow a lead at all in this game.
  19. I don't think the roughing thr passer was a good call. By the rulebook anyway. No head or neck, outside pocket. He barely even landed on him.
  20. Allen missed a few. The int was a difficult throw and his arm got hit so it looks like a terrible throw and decision. The balls supposed to float to the sideline away from the safety. The fumble by Singletary was the big killer. Fumbled snaps suck but getting stripped from behind always bothers me.
  21. Returns and special teams. Hes not making the roster as a running back.
