The baker one was underthrown. The underneath guy was looking for a tip deflection.

They do run the ball occaisionally, and a 2 TE formation is probably more often run than not, and then you factor in that you will occasionally use a TE in pass protection, I'm not even sure how many routes knox has even run.

Wasn't this guy hurt for like the most important 2 months of practice? They practice now, but its specific install for the week. Missing that much training camp in a competition is a death sentence, especially for a rookie. He's resting and rehabbing while Hamlin and Rapp are practicing together.

He seems to overcompensate in the wind sometimes, but it also seems like when he pulls it left he occaisionally (frequently it seems) kicks it absolutely terribly. It's the lack of consistency in kicking period thats becoming a concern. The miss from 48? Thats going to happen, its windy. The XP was another just, ugly kick that is unacceptable.

The Bills Defense is Last in Rushing Yards / Attempt

270 on the ground against the best rush offense in the league... with spector and lewis starting, and rapp left the game after 16 snaps. -
The Bills Defense is Last in Rushing Yards / Attempt
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
I mean... the ravens game kinda messes with the math (Henry averaged 8 ypc on 25 carries with an 87 yarder really propping up that average). You also had 2 of the best running QBs in jackson and murray who both broke some contain and combined for about 100 yards on 10 carries. -
Do they do IR for... being bad?

Communication has been the biggest issue with the defense - helped a lot having bernard and johnson back. Edwards and Bishop missed a ton of camp, and bishop didn't look strong in his play this year. I also thought after the hail mary hamlin played a lot better. A bit more reckless abandon, a bit faster. I don't think the lights ever going to truly go on, but all of the competition brought in this offseason missed a ton of time and he won the job. Yep - only guy i'm benching hamlin for is probably hyde.

So... 9 drops is on him though. 53 targets and 9 drops. Gabe davis worst season was 9 across 93 targets - and we called him stone hands.
-
I guess i'd do our 6th, but thats probably not that juicy for them.
-
The drops are a problem. Asking price should be considerably lower though. Coopers got a 45.3% catch percentage this season. 9 drops... 9!!! in 6 freaking games?! how is that even possible? He has dropped 17 percent of his targets this year!

Raiders are open to trading Davante Adams
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well I'm glad we can kill this thread before it hits 100. I wonder what the compensation looks like, and if he re-did his contract to hit UFA next year. In any case - crazy that they are doing this at 2-4. I know the "window" was with rodgers, and rodgers is likely done after this year so i guess go all-in, but now you're trading futures to try and sneak into the playoffs? -
First drive of the game he and kincaid trucked people and i just thought - it is going to be a long day for the jets secondary if they can't start stopping plays at the LOS.

James Cook Accused Of Running Out On Nightclub tab 🥃
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to GoBills!'s topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm only 37, but i can't remember really running a tab without a card so I'm not sure if this is an issue i'd ever encountered. Definitely left my credit card at quite a few bars though. -
I could also see Milano going the way of miller and knox and lowering his pay in favor of guarantees. End of the day - this team has Allen and is mostly absent star players. Milano, TJ, Miller are probably the 3 closest players buffalo has to being star players, and while oliver isn't a star - he still had 9.5 sacks last year. Diggs cap eating was a necessary evil because he wanted out. Cutting milano either costs cap space (1.1M plus the replacement contract), or it costs 11M in dead cap in 2026, while creating 9.9M in space in 2025. You can do a lot with that but, he's still better than Williams and the defense is better with him on the field. Probably a year too soon to move on there IMO. I wouldn't move oliver - he's a good player and one of the only mainstays on the defensive line. Whatever savings gets eaten by the replacement. Knox - I don't see a trade market for a TE at 1yr 8.75M with the limited production he's shown this season. So if you cut him you either lose 3M in cap space in 2025 (plus the replacement player), or you are eating cap in 2026 - you save 4.5M and eat 7.4M in 2026. 4.5M will get consumed by a replacement player which basically gets you Jonnu Smith. Feels like i'm robbing peter and paying paul and the team doesn't improve at all by making the move.

Gabe Davis doing Gabe Davis things
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
That and your #1 demanding a trade a month after free agency opens, while creating a massive dead cap hit. I don't even think much of what they added changes if they keep diggs - in fact everyone probably slots where they should. Knowing that back in march there are a few moves you can consider that were probably more realisitic than overpaying ridley for example. I think instead of samuel, you can target hollywood brown (i know he's hurt but probably more of what we need at the moment). There are other trades we potentially consider - Jeudy, Diontae Johnson, Keenan Allen perhaps. -

Who starts at safety this week?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
I always viewed him as a backup option for a few spots. I thought he'd get a shot as that 3rd safety role that Ingram has been playing, but he also missed like all of camp, and i feel like he missed minicamps or OTAs too. Can't really do that mid-season though, and his contract is up. Hamlin is also a free agent so realistically he'd be in competition with bishop and rapp. Douglas currently has a 4M void money dead cap hit for 2025, which you can spread out if you extended him. -

Right? We're 3-2. Why are people so inclined to make changes to the lineup for a rookie to work out his rookie issues. He should've worked them out in camp, but he was hurt, its why he didn't have the job to begin with. If anything he's shown that he needs to continue to work in practice before he's field ready. -

So from the previous games statline - Hamlin had 9 tackles and bishop had 4. Bishop had 2 recorded missed tackles. Bishop also blew his assignment that gifted houston 7 points in a 3 point game. Like what did people see in bishop that was so impressive that he gets a spot over hamlin? I'm all for promotion when a player has earned it, however i also don't see hamlin as a player worthy of demotion at this point. He's 2nd on the team with 3 pass defenses, 3rd in tackles. It's a mash unit, and I don't think it's wise to bench starters who actually practiced all camp and aren't missing tackles and making mental mistakes.
