  1. Cost of doing business. Tickets aren't 40 dollars anymore
  2. 100% they do this. My friends a broker and his rams tickets financed the 10k license over 6 years.
  3. 2019 bills came out and beat jets giants bengals. Also had some cupcakes in Denver and Washington that year. Just play the schedule you got and ignore the haters.
  4. Basically holding with the ball in the air, thats always PI. He made some nice plays, but I wasn't super impressed? Then again i have CMC in fantasy so i was watching through an annoyed lens. I did think hubbard looked alright though so that was a silver lining i suppose.
  5. On the replay he pulled the receivers arms and didn't play the ball. So it probably was PI
  6. I don't think benching is always a good strategy. Players can improve week to week, technique, film study etc. Motivate someone before u bench them.
  7. Probably. I don't think Fields is it though. At least this year. Are you trying to just let him take lumps and go 6-10 or are you trying to make the playoffs? Not sure Dalton is the answer there either, but I think Dalton's more likely to.
  8. I'd think Gonzalez Gronk Kelce Gates Witten I try to avoid tight ends from back in the day - any of these guys would have dominated back then so... on my all time list they all go ahead. I think Sharpe was a great player, but I think I'd rather have gates in the RZ or witten as a blocker.
  9. Watching the jets game? They probably called like 8 plays. Why put anything on film when you can win this game running inzide zone and the same 3 pass plays? The dead last in completed air yards is still... strange. 3 yards? 3 yards!!!
  10. His ADOT of 3 yards is a full 3 yards lower than Big Ben, and 4 lower than Herbert. He's legit throwing the ball an average of 3 yards from the LOS. I didn't even know it was possible to average that over 2 games.
  11. I thought he played alright against Miami with what i saw. A few things to note - No player on NE has an average depth of target of greater than 8 yards(Buffalo has 4 players, i doubt there's anyone in the league throwing passes shorter than this). 6 of the 8 targeted players have an ADOT of 3 or less. 318 of the 467 yards were yards after the catch. 165 of buffalos 449 passing yards were yards after catch. Jones is averaging 3 air yards per pass attempt. And completing passes at a little under 3 yards per completion. The entire team had 260 yards and 17 first downs against the jets. That would be worse than the average yardage output that the jets put out in 2020, and just about the same with regards to first downs. The jets defense is bad.
  12. Essentially make some quick gainers to knox and singletary who are in single coverage with LBs. Or create a rush lane to get free yards scrambling. If they want to play 2 high safeties in 2 man, make them stop. Mahomes and Wilson do this constantly and get those 10-15 yard easy first downs trotting out of bounds. Force them to spy, or adjust - and hit them when they do.
  13. Honestly if its me i throw it to knox. He would get that first down if you throw it right out of the break.
  14. I'd even argue arizona - cards missed a FG so all miami had to do was run clock at the end. Probably the flukiest one was the raiders with fitz chucking it up and getting the facemask tacked on to put them in FG range (59 yarder to 44 yarder).
  15. Was he that bad against baltimore? Both teams missed a couple of FGs. Buffalo couldn't run the ball at all. They came out and took a 7 point lead in the 3rd quarter, and didn't have the ball again until the 4th quarter. And they ran 5 minutes off the clock on the next drive after the pick 6. Could probably argue he was our best player against KC - not sure anyone else even qualifies.
  16. Yeah... I saw Kelce catch a pass from a bailing mahomes right near the LOS, and get a 60 yard TD on it. I'm sure he broke a tackle or two, but that doesn't happen without a ton of downfield blocks.
  17. No - but based on a game flow, if there is a light box you are supposed to check and run the ball. When you play empty for 30 snaps, the runs come from the QB which i think is a bit dangerous. I don't think you need to go heavy here, just do a quick count of the box and if you have numbers run it. Sanders had one down the field too. Those are usually the difference between 10-15 and TD runs.
  18. It bothered me that a lot of run checks in week 1 were mostly qb draws. If they want to play 2 high, run out of 11 personnel. Don't need the qb constantly running into contact, we have running backs for that. Some read option plays for them were big chunks. I think they ran a qb power as well. There were also man coverage scrambles. We've seen mostly zone to limit the scrambles, but read option and qb power can get u numbers on one side for chunk plays if they want to play off coverage zone. I'd use Spencer brown in some situations like that. He played tight end before and size wise he's a mismatch to any linebacker. It'll force their hand and u can attack vertically with play action. I'd even motion Knox across to Crack block on some runs and bootlegs to get the backside more help.
  19. Honestly screens are more for blitzes, i mean more sideline cutback stuff that we try to occaisionally run against bail coverage to bease.
  20. Yep - take the shots in PA. If you're spreading them out, the ball should be out quick.
  21. He got his ass kicked in pittsburgh (hit like 15 times, plus i feel like he got hit on a lot of his scrambles too), and the clock seems off. Ball out quick early in this one and take your shots when they adjust.
  22. Yep - If they wanna play 2 safeties high you need to hammer them on the ground. The other thing is - if they're in zones like cover 2/3/4, there's like always someone open for a short gain. Screens, plays to the flats, get blockers out in front and just make them play closer to the LOS. This week were playing ron rivera, so allen should have some familiarity with the defense they play. Attack the middle of the field with knox, sanders, bease, and attack the boundary with short stuff to singletary.
  23. Pittsburgh did some strange zone stuff and essentially left people open, had pressure from 4, and took away a lot of that mid-range stuff he likes. Miami game was just... weird. Brutal 2nd quarter of offense. Seemed to be a lot of throwaways in the game. In the 2nd half they only had 4 possessions, they drove down and scored through the air which was pretty promising, 2nd drive they stalled (but flipped the field), and the last 2 drives only had 100 or so yards total to go to score 2 TDs and called 9 runs on those drives.
  24. Nothing out there is viable. Between Active and PS you're looking at like 350 offensive linemen who already have jobs. I believe he missed most of camp.
  25. There were quite a few throw aways in this one (they count 4, but Kumerow got a target on a ball that was thrown into the stands because no one was open), which usually means good coverage, pressure, or both. Only 1 sack on the day. 2 major bad decisions - the mckenzie sideline throw that was almost picked, and the int. He had one deflected at the line that looked like it could've been a nice gainer. 2nd half stat line i show is 10/17 for 120 and a TD, sacked once, and 2 carries for like 25 yards. Not crazy MVP numbers but they were in control offensively in the 2nd half, they had fantastic field position all game which limits the yards you can gain.
