Interesting rushing stat involving Allen and Singletary
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
That and a larger commitment to RPOs. I remember Staley from the chargers mentioned how run blocking is important to OL as a game flow type of thing - get them to attack the man in front of them. RPOs allow you to kind of do that while also passing. Create conflicts for the linebackers and defensive ends. RPOs have created some extra space for the backs in standard zone rushes, the pin+pull stuff has helped get the line moving more effectively, and utilizing morse in Pop sets has helped a ton with the stunts and twists that gave them so many issues early in the year. -
A Few Thoughts about the Jets Game, in no particular order
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's a rookie. Mac Jones does the same thing sometimes. You have that internal clock, and for whatever reason you naturally tend to drift in the pocket as it is easier to see the field - but you also set yourself up for failure. -

You try not to put much on film in a meaningless game. Run the same plays a bunch, and generally try and force your playoff opponent to try and guess a bit more. -
Josh reveals he suffers from poor circulation
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to UConn James's topic in The Stadium Wall
Janine Talley said Darryl used to vaseline up his legs and then put on pantyhose under his uniform... for those looking to combine that with this idea to really get weird with it. -

Does that work..? asking for a friend... -
If the border is open, and covid restrictions lifted you could probably spin a profit. Hopefully they don't have as many home games in december.

I think getting to the playoffs for them should be considered a solid accomplishment. If kept i doubt he would change his staff much, and he has a couple of former HCs in Cable and Bradley on staff which helps too. He seems like a good leader and solid HC material, the only pause i would give would be looking at what happened with Kitchens in Cleveland. Make sure the turn around was him getting the guys up, and not something else.

Little less recent but Marv Levy was a ST coordinator prior to becoming a HC. The other notable example is Mike Ditka.

Well... my buddy is a ticket broker and he had some thoughts. 1 - covid, you are dealing with a limited set of fans who can attend and many of the ones who would brave this weather already have seasons. If 60% of fans are vaccinated, and many of them have seasons, then you're left with a condensed market. 2 - canada, there are something like 8-10000 southern ontario bills season ticket holders. Those tickets will be on the marketplace. You also have to deal with the non-season ticket holders who traditionally could buy secondary market tickets who are also unable to attend. It's not a massive chunk, but its another couple thousand fans who are essentially shut out from tickets. 3 - weather, most of the season ticket holders and die hards (who are vaccinated) already have tickets. It's left to the rest of fans to buy out the remaining tickets from people who can't or don't want to attend. 4 - The stadium is far too big for a football market this size. The closest comparison population wise would be maybe Green Bay which is about 90 minutes (and no border crossing) from Green Bay. Buffalo has some regional counterparts in rochester that definitely drive down to games, but losing the fans up north definitely complicates issues. Buffalo should probably have the smallest stadium in the NFL attendance wise.

Since it won't be particularly windy i don't think you really have to change much. Maybe aim your fastballs a bit more into the body? As for the particular plays? If the field conditions are slippery i tend to like hitches and comebacks, some double moves if they are in man. In slippery conditions screens can be a challenge because of all the moving parts along the line.

What Heath Farwell said about Bills punter Matt Haack
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah - they whiffed on that protection though. The twist came in and was barely touched. -
Shaq Lawson possibly returning to Buffalo
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
cuz its literally the lowest amount you can pay a player. His deal is up and he had 1 sack this season so he's very unlikely to be coveted on the open market. If he doesn't play its free money for him, if he does play and plays well he might get another good payday. -
Couldn't find some defensive home/away splits so here are some i came up with Total yards: Away - 315 yards per game Home - 235.22 yards per game Passing yards: Away - 213 yards per game Home - 119 yards per game Rushing yards Away - 102 yards per game Home 116.67 yards per game (with Takeaways: 17 - Away 13 - Home I dont' think i need to do first downs to show the discrepancy here is pretty stark. Teams struggled to move the ball at all in the inclement weather in buffalo - Even NE with 200+ on the ground only had 11 first downs. The colts game was the big outlier and in that one some injuries and missed fits resulted in some big plays. Allen performed much worse at home - but other QBs who already performed poorly against buffalo's defense performed insanely bad.

Setting up nicely for the Bills revenge tour

I could see raiders/bengals beating tennessee. -
I initially thought it was a covid thing. I don't know if he can kick FGs well but there was probably the thought that he can kick FGs more effectively than Haack if Bass were to miss a game for covid. He was a rugby player so he can probably do it decently in a pinch.

Those 3 players were all 1st round picks in the draft that was supposed to turn them around. Jackson - a LT who has since moved to G and isn't even good at that. Igbinoghene - a hybrid inside-out corner when you already had 2 of the highest paid corners in the league, and Tua - Honestly he is fine, and gets too much crap because of who was picked after him. They still need wholesale Oline changes, they're going to bring in a suspected serial rapist at QB, and the defense is still rather overrated.
