A couple of my friends who i've watched games with are just miserable the entire time. Zack moss has a 1 yard carry and they lose it for 10 minutes - "Terrible playcalling" "Moss is terrible" "the line sucks" "were going to lose this game". By the time hes done he doesn't realize were all high fiving because we scored. I get it to an extent? But i have to be like, they are trying to get another guy going at RB be it cook or moss - they'd like DS to be healthy and 100% for playoffs. I was sitting in front of a guy who was complaining about allen the entire time - during a blowout win against pittsburgh. My buddy literally said "do you even like this team? why are you here?".

Broncos getting trade calls for Jeudy and Chubb
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm open to Chubb if it sends out another contract - the only one they'd probably want is AJ or Boogie though. As for any of their WRs - its clear to me that none of them are worth what the ask likely is. -
Broncos getting trade calls for Jeudy and Chubb
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
He was supposed to be this great route runner who's always open, with the best hands in his class. He never is. He drops balls. Isn't a deep threat despite his 40 time. Full guarantee for year 4 which is reasonable, but then you basically have to dump him to UFA because there is 0 chance you give that guy a 5th year option. Chubb is also... a good player? -
Who do you want this week, Jets or Pats?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to gtw3's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the patriots offense at this juncture is probably still better than the jets with the recent injuries. The Jets defense seems to be playing really well though, and whether Bill likes it or not, teams seem to give NE their best shot lately. -
Eagles make big move. Trade for Robert Quinn
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Quinn has some money tied to him that buffalo could not have accomondated without sending salary back. -
Yeah - what are we losing without Hyde? I dunno, tackling ability, ball skills, experience... general skill.

Perhaps - but by how much? Jonnu Smith makes 12.5 AAV, same with Hunter Henry. Evan Engram got 9M AAV. Will Dissly got 8M AAV. Gesicki and Schulz are both UFAs after this year and both probably are in that same realm. Statistically he doesn't jump off the paper this year - a couple of leg injuries probably don't help there. Needs to get more involved in the red zone, and i think playcalling will trend in that direction over the course of the season. Target share wise - Running back targets are up from 15.4% to 22.1% this year. TE targets are at 12.8% vs 13.3% a year ago. Diggs target share is up this year as well from 26.3 to 27.7% (Continuing on the same rate of about 39 PAs per game, Diggs is on pace for 183 targets which approaches Kupp territory). My thoughts? It's early in the season, and largely a fluid situation. We're using the backs more because teams are letting us do it.

Jake Kumerow high ankle sprain
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
We're up almost a full yard per completion on YAC this season actually. One thing i notice about the good YAC teams is how much they design good YAC plays. We run a few here and there, mostly when we're seeing a blitz package. But they run weird rub routes and stuff to get Kelce open, and even position their guys to block after the catch. -
Makes sense - they panic bought in on Wilson. I think the big issue i see there, aside from Wilsons contract and general performance, is: Jeudy is not good. Hamler is not good. Sutton is Davante parker and they just gave him a big extension. Patrick is hurt. They need a new coach but man, everyone expected them all to improve with Wilson and watching them they are just so bad.

Comparing him to Levi Wallace is insane. Wallace was trash in man coverage and has 7 career INTs and 34 PDs in 55 starts. Jackson had 25 INTs and 55 PDs. Malcolm butler played 3 seasons in Tenn, and I wouldn't say he was inherently bad. His numbers were never really that impressive in NE either - he was made famous by a play he made in the super bowl. I'd say Logan Ryan but Tennessee changed his position when they brought him in so... there's somewhat of a tough learning curve there.

Yeah, he was not having a good season. At the end of the day though, this team has missed Bosa. They don't get enough pressure, and even after spending a ton in FA (and draft picks) they still can't stop the run. Murray and Tillery were 1st rounders and neither has been very good. Tranquill was a later pick but he doesn't impress me. Van Noy isn't good anymore. Then you have the higher priced guys like Jackson, Joseph, Johnson added. And they literally aren't any better at stopping the run.
-
I always thought Jackson was pretty good. He struggled a lot against Diggs, but to call the system in NE "CB Friendly" isn't really true. He also had 25 INTs in 4 seasons, as a UDFA. He started playing in the slot, moved outside, replaced Gilmore. To chase the money after a 3yr UDFA contract, and a 4th year as an RFA? Don't blame him in the slightest. Good for him.

I'm not offering much. It's moss and a 5th for gibson and a 6th or something like that. We have the cardinals 5th as well. The fumbling issue is a big problem, and there sounds to be freelancing issues with regards to play execution. He aint CMC, and It's a buy low type of situation.

Does Bills at Jets move to 4:25?

He's been pretty terrible since his rookie year too. -

I wasn't impressed with the 2 games last year but i heard he had improved. Was looking forward to seeing what he could do against Buffalo. He was one of the pieces they got in the Adams trade. -
Yeah - i didn't see it with Wilson last year and I haven't yet this year. I hope they win enough games to give him the keys next year, because what I've seen is a lot of bad tendencies. Tua looked great on the first drive. Throws were in rhythm, on target - they shredded pittsburgh. Then after that i'm not sure what Pitt did differently, but if i had to guess they got into the windows to throw him off. They put hands in throwing lanes to force him to throw at different times etc. After that he was probably hitting less than 50 percent of the RPOs and there were at least 4 or 5 near catastrophe interceptions where he missed, and occaisionally missed high. I'm not sure how much is "he was off" or he was thrown off, but they got through it I guess.

I don't see it. Bills play jets and fins at home - then chicago. Before that its detroit and NE on the road. They should be rolling in winning at least 4 of those 5. I'd be disappointed if its not 5.

105 yards passing and 99 yards passing in the last 2 wins. Thats barely game management. I'd have to look at splits for when Carters on the field, but just on base numbers he averages 3.5 YPC vs Halls 5.8. The big play potential is gone which means Wilson will need to be better. He has fewer yards passing in 4 starts than Flacco, and somehow has 50 less attempts. Their Defense has a takeaway in every game so far this season, and they did throttle the packers. I don't see them as a big problem, but they're young and that's very likely going to be the identity of this version of the Jets. But they also played QBs like Thompson, Brisset, Rypien, Trubisky, and PIckett.
