  1. Interesting. I definitely watched a different game.
  2. With a project QB a year/ two years down the line - with all the practice and further physical / mental experience the project QB gets, they are of course going to be further evaluated to get you closer to the answer of you what you didn't know when you drafted him - Whether he is good enough or not. Whether he will fulfil the potential to be good enough. There is an argument also to put it on their shoulders to see if they have it. I don't see anything close to Wilson, rothlesburger or Brady at this point.
  3. Qb is one man and thus more important to understand if you have that position right or not, ideally as quick as possible.
  4. You see I don't think experience will make him a considerably better QB.
  5. I'm in the Allen not being good enough camp but I take your point about mcdermott at times. Is Allen great with a mcvay type coach? I don't know. With a record like 6-3 he isn't going anywhere though.
  6. He's got it more physically then mentally basically
  7. I don't think most are saying its both actually. I think most posts are saying its Daboll, there's certainly a narrative for that which I am pointing out. I am not the most clued up nfl guy but the narrative regards Allen is more obvious in my opinion- we can see it with our eyes. Plays are left on the field. Theres 'bipolar' QB play from one minute to the next. Regards Daboll we can see the playcalls and will always critique them when they are not succesful. You could say Allen is an easier critique but never be proved wrong with that because we are not in meetings, don't know the game plan etc. So in regards the OC I think its harder to see, with the QB easier to see.
  8. Allen reminded me of EJ there.
  9. The OC is an easier criticism then the QB. Anytime a playcall doesn't work its the OCs fault. Allen never scans the whole field and. Lacks composure and consistency. The QB sets the tone for the team. Allen won't be replaced now but it's naive to think he will Improve much more than this.
  10. Allen leaves plays on the field.
  11. He can't dominate for more than a play or two that's right.
  12. This is the way I see it. Similar issues we had under Manuel, Tyrod.
  13. Sure. I just don't think he's elite which is what you would want for a 7th pick.
  14. I have a hard time believing Allen is suddenly the franchise elite QB with another OC.
  15. Daboll/Mcd and Beane could be salvageable if we make a change at QB. It's not going to happen right now but I am worried this is setting us back again.
  16. He wasnt good enough to win it for us. He couldn't hit passes and make consistently good decisions. The defence stopped them several times and is ranked top 3 in the league. Its not on them. I don't discount Daboll completely but for me Allen makes Daboll look worse by being so consistently inconsistent.
  17. I'm unsettled because we are NOT set at QB as far as I'm concerned.
  18. Kicking is always random in the nfl. No way I'm focusing on that as much as Allen and the offence.
  19. I'll stick my neck on the line. Josh Allen does not have it.
  20. The point I think rebel is making is that he's not going to be a great QB. You can see that now.
  21. Emotions are raw. It's hard to know what to say. Lot of things were annoying. Singletary not getting out of bounds was annoying. With a 6-3 record, a good defence, a poor offence, a QB who I don't think has it and first round picks that are disappointing, the only position I trust at the moment is the HC.
  22. This is how I feel. Let's see
