  1. All depends on whether it works!
  2. A 2-6 team have less to lose. It's only a 'trap game' for one team. That's why it takes 'mental toughness' to have a winning record and still dominate teams. That said the bills are not favourites which I think will help actually. I do feel that the record can make a difference to teams, depending on how well they are coached. Cleveland will want to show that they are better than 2-6. Any volatile team with a number 1 QB and no 1 WR could be seen as a trap game away from home. I expect the bills to win and also play well but I can think its important for the bills to build a lead. Go Bills and Go Allen!
  3. Perfect scenario? Allen looks brilliant with 3+ tds and the bills win.
  4. I was more concerned about the eagles then this one but the browns are dangerous for obvious reasons. Bills can't afford to drop in level.
  5. I do get a feeling Allen will have a good one here
  6. Let's be honest. It wouldn't be the most shocking thing in the world. Neither would a win obviously
  7. I agree that it just has 'bills loss' all over it this one. If the bills win then it's further evidence that mcdermott has them beating the teams they should beat and that he is doing a solid job at 7-2.
  8. If Allen doesn't fumble and slides then maybe they are good calls? Dabolls not fumbling the ball. They scored and got 1st downs with these plays alot. Do they emphasise not fumbling with Allen and continue to run some or do they abandon his runs because he has fumbled.
  9. Yep. The %/opportunity gives some reason for optimism as well as 4th qtr allen. Let's see if they both continue.
  10. If you are coaching a team and you run the ball on the one yard line and it doesn't go in, there is a school of thought to say 'we should be executing this play, so we try again' . During the week they can address the fact it didn't go in when running up the middle, good thing is they scored on the drive. In the same way that Allen can improve, if they can improve these runs up the middle then they will get better as an offence. If your number one in red zone offence in the league then your OC is doing well. That's a playoff caliber strike rate when in the 20.
  11. Mcdermott will know how much worse he will look if he sacks another OC. Anyone else think mckenzie being active is important for this offence? The speed helps!!
  12. Did Freddie do his presser facing away from the media?
  13. It's a great record after 8 games.
  14. Absolutely. Allen gets the season. The coaching staff get the season. So should Daboll. Why is a Allen capable of improving when showing good and bad but not Daboll? He's not getting fired
  15. You are right somehow that he looks the part but the stats are disappointing in comparison to how he looks at times. I agree with the sensation you describe regarding Allen. Leads to not being sure of him either way as of yet. Ultimately true. If he is to be top tier, you need to see top tier statistically.
  16. Yeah I wanna see how he's does against teams like the cowboys, ravens, steelers, pats
  17. You mean the coaching staff should let Allen be a gunslinger?
  18. You couldn't get more opposites in terms of 'culture'. I hope that impacts who wins the game.
  19. Yeah and coaching
  20. Mayfield going for the taxi driver look.
  21. It will be interesting to see how alot of draft picks turn out. Beane is seen as a good gm and talent assessor generally but if Oliver, Ford, Edmunds and Allen all start panning out to be average or worse than people will need to start asking questions.
  22. Some concern. They go for it a lot on 4th down as well so that is a worry as we have been good at holding teams to field goals. And the run game with chubb. Want to see what we can do on offence.
