  1. First drive short to brown on 3rd was inaccurate.
  2. Yeah they are making a good point on the radio. When does a good team ever look like they did on the last drive? They had a chance there with 1 minute and one timeout and just slowed down and didn't look like they knew what they were doing.
  3. FO? Yeah and Ford.
  4. It was a VERY disappointing last drive. Pretty much said in the presser was looking to tie.
  5. He said in his presser pretty much that they were looking to tie. Allen said they were playing for the 30 yard line. Obviously they were looking for closer.
  6. Hm. And the final drive on offence was disappointing.
  7. Fair comment I would never say there were not SOME great throws in the game. It's the rest that drives me nuts.
  8. I heard he said he played for a tie in the presser. Will need to check that out
  9. Mcds defense is holding teams generally to 20 points or less. That's pretty good. If you mean the way he coaches in terms of game day etc then I'm open to hearing that. The record is everything for mcdermott. The offence is what worries me under mcdermott.
  10. That's just as well then. ?. No decisions should be made at 6-3. If it's still the case later in the season that Allen, Ford, Oliver, Edmunds are struggling Beane and folks will know their jobs are on the line in the not so distant future.
  11. It's doing better than the offence. The defense is not the main bills problem.
  12. They will have to make a decision on Allen at some point.
  13. You can't realistically call for MCDS head at 6-3 with a top 3 D. 3-6 more possible.
  14. Why? because of execution or because he was playing for the tie?
  15. Interesting. I definitely watched a different game.
  16. With a project QB a year/ two years down the line - with all the practice and further physical / mental experience the project QB gets, they are of course going to be further evaluated to get you closer to the answer of you what you didn't know when you drafted him - Whether he is good enough or not. Whether he will fulfil the potential to be good enough. There is an argument also to put it on their shoulders to see if they have it. I don't see anything close to Wilson, rothlesburger or Brady at this point.
  17. Qb is one man and thus more important to understand if you have that position right or not, ideally as quick as possible.
  18. You see I don't think experience will make him a considerably better QB.
  19. I'm in the Allen not being good enough camp but I take your point about mcdermott at times. Is Allen great with a mcvay type coach? I don't know. With a record like 6-3 he isn't going anywhere though.
  20. He's got it more physically then mentally basically
  21. I don't think most are saying its both actually. I think most posts are saying its Daboll, there's certainly a narrative for that which I am pointing out. I am not the most clued up nfl guy but the narrative regards Allen is more obvious in my opinion- we can see it with our eyes. Plays are left on the field. Theres 'bipolar' QB play from one minute to the next. Regards Daboll we can see the playcalls and will always critique them when they are not succesful. You could say Allen is an easier critique but never be proved wrong with that because we are not in meetings, don't know the game plan etc. So in regards the OC I think its harder to see, with the QB easier to see.
  22. Allen reminded me of EJ there.
  23. The OC is an easier criticism then the QB. Anytime a playcall doesn't work its the OCs fault. Allen never scans the whole field and. Lacks composure and consistency. The QB sets the tone for the team. Allen won't be replaced now but it's naive to think he will Improve much more than this.
