I know what you are saying. Mike schopp too? I do think there needs to be people who will be somewhat 'provocative' in their opinions and they are entitled to them. I get more frustrated listening to John Murphy personally than schopp or Sullivan. I don't always want a positive spin put on bills talk.

10 decision coins: Josh Allen

I'm quite confident Allen doesn't have it. I'd like him to but don't think he has. Your talking like mcdermott and Beane have to be resigned to the fact that if Allen doesn't pan out they go - not necessarily. If they draft an insurance policy it would be an intelligent decision. Yes. But I want an elite QB. -

The gm and coach are not going to want their careers to be defined by an inconsistent QB -

Should there not be someone here waiting in the wings should he not show it? Are you saying he doesn't look as good as big Ben or rivers in their first two seasons? I agree in regards mariota/ tannehill etc -

Not scoring more than 14 points against a a badly coached team is the bigger failure I think. Look at the last offensive drive. They were held to 19 points. That's good enough to win. A team with Mayfield, Beckham, Landry and chubb can always lead scoring drives. -

Offence is the problem, not defence. -

4 coins to the left. 4 coins to the right. He has 8 games to show he is good enough to be the main guy without competition. If he doesn't Beane should be going to the casino with the coins. -

But your talking like they have to accept that he will get it. They don't have to accept that he will get it. You continually evaluate, that's what you do. They cannot be scared of their perception. Is it a difficult situation for Beane to draft another QB? Sure. There would be alot of questions. 'Josh has shown enough growth'. No, not for me. But what I think won't ultimately matter. Let's say Beane thinks that Allen may not be the guy - he will be bringing someone in to compete. It depends on whether the pegulas want to define beanes career by Allen. In the same way that Allen should get more time, should Beane not be allowed to miss on a project QB? -

Wait the 8 games remaining. Then it will be 26 games. That will give a decent idea. Draft a QB in the second or so. It's about a slow moving on whilst still giving a chance for the unlikely to happen, that he will suddenly be great. You don't have to cut the guy but it's NEGLIGENT to not do 'due diligence' on each position as Beane says. It's the most important position. -

Come on maaaaan! You can do better then that. That's about the only one he's hit, LAST season. If ever there's is a time for a smiley face it is now ?. -

Allen is not hitting those deeper balls like Tyrod here you are right. -
Regarding the last drive. In his presser Mcd says it wasn't the plan to huddle and said it starts with him to put the team in a better position to win. Could McDermott have been the one who got involved and wanted the play to go to the area where they would kick the FG? He said they wanted to kick to tie so I ask the question did he get them to huddle and realise that was wrong and make himself accountable inside close doors? Might be overthinking it sure but he's so Conservative and may have been afraid of a turnover. Defence was outstanding. Not perfect(last drive) but held them to 19 which is good. No way I rag on the D.
