Theres usually this attitude of 'We will beat the big teams, there's nothing to he scared of' and 'We can lose to the weak teams, they are not as bad as their record' That's usually flipped with this bills team, usualy beat the bad lose to the good, with Dallas game being the exception. At this point no. I don't think they would take a QB first round even if he is the best player available when they are on the clock: 1. They are invested in allen and he has shown development in areas 2. There are some concerning moments shown by allen but even so I think the constant questions and publicity from drafting a number 1 QB again now would be too much of a distraction and hindrance.

Yes. Just the mention of 'overthrows' was I think the first time I heard him acknowledge what they are, in lamens terms as it were. I read this as Allen needs to be better there, which is fair. Yes he mentioned about not getting into a good rythmn early (which he often says as its been an issue in earlier games), I read this partly as Daboll can help Allen to get into a rythmn with more higher percentage completions etc, which is also true.

What I did notice was in the post game presser, mcdermott mentioned Allen's 'overthrows' which I thought was interesting. He's just stating what we all saw but in the past he would just say there are plays he wants back.

Yeah I know what you mean after thinking about this. My hunch would be this is partly why mcdermott had to be restrained in the tunnel. Probably pissed him off.

Just some quick observations from looking at more highlights. There are plays where Allen had no chance, the pressure is coming and the receivers aren't looking at allen so he spins and ends up sacked. There are some plays where Allen doesn't take a gain that is there. Doesnt pull the trigger. Players are open here. There is a play I saw where allen is looking to pull the trigger and kroft is not even looking at allen. Maybe it's a longer developing route but kroft is looking at a Ravens defender in the distance. Allen is sacked. Surely kroft needs to be more aware here. Allen made a few clever ad lib plays and the receivers dropped the ball. Ford and knox getting beat in pass pro.
