Although I do think you could be right, I have to give the flipside to this argument as it's an interesting one. We still have no explanation for.the first half and the inconsistency which may never go away remember. Points and completions are left on the field. Getting hot for 4 games means getting hot for 4 full games. Getting hot for part of it was proven today not to be enough. That difference between, let's say, 10 more completions today that a Rodgers, brees etc makes take us to the superbowl this year maybe. I know what your saying about Allen getting hot, I could make the argument he is the noose around our necks.

Might even be the superbowl with these QBs. So frustrating -

It's just hard to take when they still look better than we do in all departments. I know Allen made some plays but I tell you what concerns me - With all the throws that are missed, I'm starting to think you put brees, mahomes, Rogers, brady (hate to say it) on this team.. We are then Better than the patriots. This is what makes me anxious, that we are close. All the talk of the defence,. we were still holding them to some field goals. -
Your right about the defence today but to me that just shows how good Brady and that lot are. Also Allen has got to start better, sometimes he just isn't there. As much as I'm looking at the plays he makes, I'm looking at the the plays he misses. It's hard to know which to focus on. It's not a popular thing to say and it hurts like s*** but the truth is if we swap quarterbacks we probably win this game.

Don't really know what to say after that game. I'm confused. Bit raw. Josh Allen was the clear problem earlier, then as the game went on it didn't seem that way as much. Almost like he's the problem, then he's our only hope - know what I mean?? Although the throw to knox at the end was another sign of just overthrowing. 2/11 on 3rd down. 400 yards on defence. Mcdermott punting on 4th and 1. Josh Allen rubbish early on. Running on every first down.

Daboll and ST have been saving something.

I know what your saying. I don't like the idea of never running a fake punt, field goal though etc. Thought they may save something for the playoffs but on second thoughts I agree with others it's possible they may put something on film. -

Yeah interesting. I heard about the helmet thing with beasley earlier in the season but never saw it. The dallas game was made to be about beasley and seems to go against the process thing a little bit but like I say it's not nessesarily a bad thing having someone who wants better and shows it. The last thing Allen or the bills really want is receivers throwing their arms up once a deep ball is incomplete but its also understandable from their perspective. I mean they are right to an extent but I like how Allen is dealing with these things. -

Beasleys attitude annoys me but I'm open to being wrong. When a ball from allen was incomplete he was huffing but maybe the team needs that. -

It all factors in to knowing who Allen really is as a QB. 1. Whether he is going to be a good QB who gives you a chance to win but also inconsistent in games/moments with lower stat lines but still make plays 2. whether he gets worse against good teams and looks flustered often and is inaccurate (unlikely) 3. or whether he really is elite and can develop to control a game and be more consistent in games. With occasional great performances (and yes, maybe stat lines) -

Firstly I don't like anyone laughing at the Bills which they are doing a little bit. Other than that I don't read this as hate tbh. I read this as them not believing Allen is good enough! Some of it was harsh, the touchdown pass is not something to criticize. Their point is they are complementing the rest of the team at the same time by saying they would be superbowl contenders with another QB. I can't argue with that. The defence is more solid and reliable than the QB, I see it that way aswell.. Their quote 'Teams are scared of that defence but there's no reason to fear that QB'. Obviously games we've seen back that up. I think this could well fire Allen up but I don't want to have to fire him up to be good. He's one of the most interesting players to watch because one minute he's bang average, the next minute he looks great. Get the coach and QB right and the rest will follow. -
