  1. Funny how the Ravens are looking like the Bills right now
  2. They did. Until the 3rd qtr!
  3. This is how I view daboll.
  4. It all depends on what the pegulas think about the job beane/mcdermott have done when the time comes. A project QB doesnt always work out. Other players Beane has drafted, results and performances all tie into it. Mcdermott being aggressive in the future might buy him more favour.
  5. I don't agree with others that their fates are definitely tied to Josh if Josh doesn't pan out. I'm not sure it has to be that way.
  6. Maybe. Pegula might talk before the two of them
  7. Cool. Need to change the podium then unless someone's on someone's lap ?
  8. Looks like it's just mcdermott
  9. They might be able to spice the conference up by lateraling a bottle of water.
  10. That's Allen in a nutshell. Good to great, then bizarre moments out of nowhere.
  11. I agree that his performance outside of these plays was good. It makes it hard to comprehend. I think Allen gets 'nitpicked' because this bipolar play makes him unreliable.
  12. He played really well in my opinion outside of these costly mistakes and strange decisions under pressure. These just seem to happen. Half time allen was going in having played well. Statistically he was good aswell going into the half, I think he was in or above the 60 percent range.
  13. He doesnt have better touch on the deep ball than Jackson.
  14. Mcd panicked. He seemed to panic a bit second quarter when he was yelling at allen to spike the ball when there was time. Allen seemed to be making a point of taking his time there. What concerns me is sometimes they both look like they lack composure. One of them needs to be mostly composed for this to work. Question is whether experience will make them be more composed under pressure.
  15. Watson didn't start off well but got better. Our QB was the opposite.
  16. He will get less than that if he doesnt pan out though won't he.
  17. I'm not convinced Allen is 100 percent the problem. I am concerned we will be talking about the same mistakes in the future but there are time sunder the lights when he's really good. It seems like he is the solution at times and the problem at other times.
  18. I just rewatched the highlights of the game. We were in total control of course, the Allen fumble was a big moment in retrospect. They only got 3 off that but we were driving at the time. Allen played really well first half I thought but also well after that. Lots of 3rd downs were converted which is a big thing when looking at a QBs presence. To me Allen played REALLY WELL GENERALLY with certain BAD mistakes in there that can make it seem like it's all bad. The mistakes tended to prove quite critical. The issues with Allen from the game: The fumble. Helped the texans out bigtime. Stepping UP in the pocket at times. The sack on 3rd down at 13-0. Ideally he steps up here and can make a throw to Beasley. Might tempt mcd to go for it on 4th down. He's made these plays before so I know he's capable but it's the consistency. Stepping up is a weakness. Spin move/sacks Spin move he tried twice when he was sacked. I think if he gets rid of that spin move it could serve him well. I don't think the line breaking down is an excuse for him to not get rid of the ball. Lack of decisiveness. He was mostly very decisive, when he wasnt he nearly got picked and he got sacked. We were driving the ball and converting 3rd downs so not getting touchdowns was and is frustrating.
  19. I can imagine Daboll in an interview with a DVR of all of Allen's misses ?
  20. I know what you mean about ignoring the flow of the game. Also a problem about daboll being in the booth is that he can't get a sense of allen through the game in the same way.
  21. There's an argument for not changing anything. Bringing in a new backup QB like fitz and better offensive talent, WR, Oline, RB. Draft all offense and a punter. Defence in free agency. See if washington would accept a low draft pick for peterson on a year deal to replace gore. Flipside is someone like shurmer has been a headcoach, could help mcdermott
