If you ask me I think it's a focus and confidence thing. He's always been confident but the addition of Diggs ability and confidence has propelled Allen to believe more and more. The offense going for 4th downs and more points being scored has grown this. I think its focus aswell because whatever he is doing now his brain is in the right place, consistently making better decisions and executing. Could well be down to the more calming music he mentioned.. I say this aswell because tannehill has been really good the last two seasons and he has mentioned using meditation. If the crowd gets him to the 'amped up' point then it may be a problem, but like other people have said in big games last season with the crowds he turned up and played well. Pittsburg start this season was the only time he seemed a bit off, always seems to turn it round in games aswell so any blips seem only momentary.

I wouldn't trade Allen for Mahomes no. He's a better fit all in all. .. but I also don't think he's better or will be better than Mahomes. But I think Mahomes is so good that being behind him can still make an elite QB. If Allen is the 2nd, 3rd or 4th best QB in the league then I'm happy. I think that would be good enough.

It depends in what context we are talking, are we talking about whether they are likeable in or whether they are good players? yeah they are both guys with massive egos brady and rogers but they've won consistently. I don't like them much but doing what they do has worked for them. Having a chip on their shoulder has made all of them better I would argue. I saw it somewhere where Allen said something like 6 teams rejected me and it drives me on. No argument that Allen is a more likeable guy than the other two, he doesn't lose his temper with teammates on the sideline and doesnt think he is the best player on the team. He still has a moxy and swagg though

It was a bit ignorant of me as I presumed he was being general. Just read the article, nothing stands out as wrong to me though really, I presume he was asked the question of Edmunds rather than bringing up his name himself. The qbs I've mentioned, particularly Rogers and Brady, I'm sure have a clear idea of every qb taken before them and want to show they are better than every one of them. They just internalise it more. It doesn't strike me as that personal the article, just my opinion. I think there will always be an element of that in a sport, of feeling 'disrespected and motivated'.
