  1. I WANT TO BE WRONG ABOUT JOSH ALLEN
  2. also, why was Allen running HEAD FIRST for a first down? He's not a running back? I get the emotional 'showing courage' thing but its like what he tends to do in the game, not make the best decision for the team or himself a lot of the time
  3. I tend to agree with this. SURELY Beane and Mcdermott need to be entertaining having a 'what if Allens NOT the guy' conversation?? The word 'Develop" is used a lot - when has a quarterback developed into a different, MUCH better version through "growth and development?' I agree that it seems unlikely that he is a longer term solution at quarterback. Josh Allen seems to be an athletic 'performer' rather than a 'cerebral' quarterback. This is shown in his reluctance to play to the game situation. You cant just change a persons character through "development". He will always want the big play and will continue to fight it if he is reined in. He will continue to be erratic as thats has nature - the only thing that can save this, or delay the judgement that he is not the long terms solution, is if he keeps bringing the team back in games or winning with drives AFTER his "bad" play. If he's doing that they may just sail with his mistakes. The goal is to win a SUPERBOWL. I can't see that with Allen, this game told me that.
  4. Looking at the game against houston and listening to what people are saying - i think someone said the fact that fitz always makes very quick decisions on who he throws to as often the weakness of the bills offense and reason for the frequently quick three and outs, why not intentionally change this quick release on specific downs? some succes fitz has had this season has been moving the corners with his eyes - look at the first screen grab on first down, spiller is wide open - if fitz intentionally uses a pump fake there to chandler he should be able to get spiller open see attched images - on both screen grabs the quarterback draw is open, if chan calls the draw more often the opposition may cover for it and open up more routes deep/ underneath? what do people think?
