  1. I have been trying to tell this to my friends and family. Daltons throw all of the sudden made us WAY better than we are in their eyes. I dont actually expect us to make the playoffs next season unless we have a spectacular draft. I like McD and the mentality he brought to the team and we have some good players from last years draft but we just are not a good football team. We are a lucky 9-7 because of turnovers as you say. The Dolphins/Raiders (someone mentioned the 2015 Jets as well as another good example) from last year can show you that one season of exceeding expectations does not mean you get better the next year. Often times you regress. Im not saying that its guaranteed we regress, I just want people to slow their roll with this team. We are not one piece away from a Superbowl. We are likely 2-3 years away with solid drafting and player development.
  2. That is exactly what I hope happens. I think itll work but that is my one, albeit small, concern. Basically add him in organically to the scheme were currently running, not run our offense through him.
  3. I agree with the Panthers fan that talked him not getting separation and that their offense opening up without him. He is fat and slow and not somebody we should rely on as a #1. I really think not having Sammy has helped Tyrod learn to run an offense. I am happy with the trade because we get a big target and at a good price but I really dont want to force the ball to him a lot. Tyrod has really developed lately at keeping his eyes down field and finding open guys. I want him to keep developing and only use KB when he is truly open. Perhaps in the RZ we can lob it up to him but other than that he needs to just be another piece, not a game changing acquisition.
  4. 7th is the pick we got for the Cardale trade too
  5. Luck is on the Colts...duh
  6. Were 15 in ESPN. No movement from last week. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/page/NFLpowerrankingsx171003/nfl-2017-week-5-power-rankings-kansas-city-chiefs-green-bay-packers-atlanta-falcons-top-our-board
  7. my co-worker (Packers fan) was complaining this morning how they were gonna let him go because he basically plays everything for them. I jokingly told him we were in the market for a S. I approve.
  8. Seriously. TT is not the savior but we have a solid starting caliber QB for peanuts basically. The guy wants to be in Buffalo and took a pay cut to do so. Look at the numbers being thrown around for Glennon and what Osweiler got. the Redskins have given Cousins $40+ guaranteed with no long term deal. QB money is nuts and we have a bargain that does not lock us into anything really.
  9. Seahawks scouted Wilson so hard that they paid Matt Flynn a kings ransom just because theyre nice guys. Cowboys tried to draft Johnny Football and wanted Lynch/Cook last year but got their consolation prize with Dak. Obviously the Cowboys are geniuses and we need Jerry to win.
  10. But we only worry about his current contract if hes traded, that way his contract is traded with him. If KC just releases him then we would have to negotiate a new deal with him and would be in competition with other teams trying to sign him.
  11. Kirk Cousins has shown to be better than TT and is still very young with none of the injury concerns that Romo brings. If we can get him I think that he is the best choice. Second choice would be Tyrod.
  12. That analysis is 100% completely worthless. Even if you take the conclusion that the Bills scored 20.4 PPG as legit (which it is not), how does that rank among the league? That could be the #1 scoring offense for all I know when you remove subjective garbage time scores from every team in the league. You say 20.4 PPG as if its some negative thing yet you literally only have a single data point.
  13. Franchise WR dont just grow on trees and most of the time they are a direct product of the offense/QB, not the other way around. Remember when the Steelers were idiots for letting Mike Wallace walk, oh dont worry A.Brown turned into the best WR in the league. Who will Rogers throw to if we get rid of Greg Jennings? Ok I guess Jordy is pretty good. All of those years with Megatron and Detroit did very little with him, same with Larry in Arizona. Look at how successful the Pats have been with replacement parts year after year. Who the hell was a WR on the Panthers last year when they made the superbowl? Tedd Freakin Ginn? Name a starting WR on the seahawks when they won their superbowl? It was not A-list "legit WR". The Browns had Josh Gordan last year and sucked. These "stud" WR are great at catching highlight passes and they certainly are valuable to some extent but they dont make the offense go really. Look how much Atlanta has struggled through the yeas even with Julio. This post is so dumb. No team in the league has 6-7 "legit" WR. When it looks like they do its because they have a good QB that makes those WR look good.
  14. I also forgot Reggie Bush
  15. How about the fact that Hunter, Clay, Richie and Gilislee all played for the Dolphins before being let go/taken away. We could beat them with their rejects and cast offs. That would be funny.
  16. obvious troll is obvious.
  17. Whaley hasnt been perfect but I agree hes hit more then hes missed which cannot be said for a lot of teams. The team is very talented and he has acquired a lot of talent at bargain prices. Do you guys remember how we ended up with Jerry Hughes? a straight up trade for Kelvin Sheppard. We traded Kiko for Shady straight up. The biggest mistakes Whaley has made are EJ and Sammy. It think trading 2 first-rounder for Sammy is awful and completely short sighted. But that said, you can do a lot worse for GMs.
  18. What the heck site is that? The comments are horrible. Maybe Mondays ratings were down because of the freakin debate, not because players are taking a knee
  19. Not sure you can mic drop an obvious troll that youve taken the bait so hard on your cheek is probably ripped off at this point.
  20. I root for both teams and the refs. The outcome is irrelevant really, as long as everyone is having fun
  21. The Bills need to start thinking like the Pats and exploiting loop holes like this. Can we protest this game and have them change it to a loss for us??? Whaley, get on the phone! In the meantime, Lets come up with a gameplan to ensure we lose against the Seahawks.
  22. No you pay him for what you expect to get out of him in the future, not what hes done. You use the full body of work to judge that but if you feel his best days are behind him then you dont need to pay him.
  23. The offense has laid 2 eggs now. Its not gonna fix us, and were still gonna suck but it cant hurt.
  24. This is enough koolaid to fill New Era Field but I love it. Go Bills
