  1. I liked that graphic too. Ont he Brady Stats though, that second game was a disaster for our run game so he didnt need to throw on us really. But his passing stats were bad in that game.
  2. https://onepantherplace.com/?p=2497 Some good stuff in here about our defense. Then takes a cheap shots at Bills fans haha. Must have had his jimmys rustled by the Panthers camp being dominated by Bills fans
  3. Especially since we traded up for Edmunds

  5. Yea I didnt see any criticism off this board, can you link to Taskers critiques? Id actually like to see them. I didnt see much negative other than a the posts on this board. I saw Cover1 and Baldy both say he put it in a good spot to catch the ball and Zay needs to come down with it.
  6. Exactly this. Talent and winning can also create a culture. The U had a culture that is the complete opposite of Bama/Patriots yet both were dynasties. Talent > culture all day
  7. Dude I understand how football works. The more often you do good things, the more often good things happen haha. Youre not explaining a difficult concept. I was asking a specific question that you still dance around. I didnt ask "Do you think coaches use percentages?" I actually dont think they do. I was asking for your percentage assignment and since you refused to answer the first time I brought up the coaching analogy You said majority, is it 51% or 75%? Btw, if youre curious, if a kicker kicks the ball straight 9/10 times he has a better chance at making kicks than a kicker than only kicks it straight 6/10 times.
  8. I get that of course, but can you answer my question. If the coach and you go back to review that tape, who take more of the blame on that Rivers throw? And what percentage of the blame is it?
  9. Of course thats true but in your opinion, looking at that Rivers throw, what percentage is that on Rivers and what percentage is that on the WR that the ball was not caught?
  10. I actually agree with you that the ball was more thrown on frame as opposed to leading him (although I dont think leading him would have helped cause the safety was right there, leading him would have been worse) But to say this is a routine throw for most QBs is disingenuous. That far down field a ball that is there needs to be caught. Allen certainly is not the most accurate QB in the league but your acting like a ball being off by 1.5 feet 20 yards in the air downfield is a simple toss and catch for most QBs.
  11. For me, in order, its: Josh, Oliver, Josh, Beasley, Brown, Allen, Singletary, Josh Allen
  12. No matter what happens I am not going to read too much into it. Lets all remember that through 2 games in the preseason last year Nate Peterman was: 17/20, 131 yards, 2 TD, 1 int and then went 16/21 in game 3, the supposed "dress rehearsal".
  13. It is win total based on points scored vs points against. Sometimes, especially early in a season, a teams record can be a bit misleading because of fluky occurrences but in general teams that score more and prevent getting scored on should win more. Well over time people have amassed statistics that create a correlation of points for/points against ratio and wins on average. If your team had a good ratio but had less wins that you would expect its probably because you had some really tough losses and you can expect to improve the next year as you trend towards the mean. Similarly, if you had a bad ratio but you won more games than the correlation expects you probably overachieved and you can predict that you will regress to the mean the next year. Its more useful in baseball where there are more games. Sometimes in May or June a team will be below .500 but have a positive run differential. You can expect them to end up above .500 because they score more than their opponents usually. The reverse scenario also applies;
  14. Per Joe B's article on the Athletic.
  15. By all reports Dawkins is playing well at tackle in camp while Ford is struggling. This doesnt make much sense if you want to maximize talents this year. Only problem is if we eventually want Ford at tackle itll be another tough learning curve for him next season if he spends this entire year at guard. The batted balls thing is weird. Seems like Josh is playing OK but not great. This is what im preparing that we get from Josh this season. Some real strikes but also some bad misses in every game. Overall solid play, especially when you factor in his running ability. But he will rarely light up the stat sheet. Although I do know hes had better days then today.
  16. But just because he can do it, doesnt mean he should make a habit of it. If the D is getting there on every play then its likely on the O-line but as the QB, in a real game, he will need to adjust and get the ball out quicker.
  17. It has unlimited DVR so you can record whatever you want, whenever you want. Since its just an app, you can have it on your phone too and set things to record on your phone or watch your recorded things on your phone as well.
  18. Clearly the number one and as nimble as ever, according to Joe B.
  19. CB depth is incredible this year. Kevin Johnson and EJ can start on a lot of teams and theyre backups for us. Taron was incredble before his injury.
  20. YouTube TV has every sports channel you'd ever want PLUS all local channels and basically everything else youd ever need and all you need is the internet and an AppleTV/Roku thing. I split $50/month with my brother because each account gives you 6 screens. It is perfect 720p picture, never lags or buffers and it completely live with unlimited DVR. I HIGHLY recommend YoutubeTv, it has been awesome.
  21. Seems doubtful. The running start you can get in the CFL is a huge difference compared to the NFL. He likely has no technique to separate quickly. He would really only be useful in jump-ball scenarios and even then id worry about his spacial awareness cause the end zones are so much deeper in the CFL.
  22. This is exactly right. Along with many people calling the people making those excuses delusional. One of my favorite excuses was "Theyre not running their normal offense, theyre working on stuff hes not good at since its just preseason. Thats why he looked bad!"
  23. I would say Giants fans. Eli is older, struggling anyway and you traded away OBJ. Now with Tate being suspended and more injuries...I dont think expectations are particularly high.
