  1. it sucks to be a Bills fan we need a QB
  2. After watching the first half the Bills will lose this game not because of their play on the field but because of their coaching. Why do you run the ball twice inside the 20 and on third down go 5 wide with no back in the backfield for a play action pass. The colts ends would love to see that all day long because all they have to do is rush the passer and what happened sack on Fitz. And then the Defense holds the Colts the Bills get the ball with 58 seconds on the clock and what do we do on first and second pass pass both incomplete taking only 12 seconds off the clock then run the colts call time out and get the ball with 44 seconds back on the clock and three points at the half. What is the coaching staff thinking. We need an offensive touchdown bad. I think if we get one it will open up the gates. the last time the Bills scored an Offensive TD was in the 4th quarter of the Patriots game. I am calling it now, Chan has to go. NO MORE OLD OUT OF THEIR LEAGUE COACHES. Bring in Rob Ryan now. We need a Head Coach not an Offensive Coordinator.
  3. I don't think you can judge Tannehill this early in his career. He is a rookie and not all rookies are like Luck and RG3, when Dalton can into the league he was teamed with a good reciever also. Tanny has no one to throw the ball too. I am no Dolphins fan believe you me. I would much rather have Tanny on our bench to back up Fitz then Thigpen or Jackson any day of the week because Tanny has an up side. Enough of that. I hate our game plan on offense every week. Like stated in another post twice in the first quarter on 3 and short we went 5 wide and on the first series we went wildcat. We need to never use the wildcat again...it sucks. I would really like to see more running and more shots down field and using the screen game wisely. I think it would be more effective if we went down field a few times in the fist half and then ran more screens in the second with the defense is getting tired. I really think we just need to run the ball more in the first half because I watched the game again and I noticed our Oline getting tired in the second half from pass blocking alot and running out to block on screens. I think our line gets tired doing that because the defense is being the aggressor, but when we run block we are the aggressor. Thoughts....
  4. I think our LB's stink. The one that use to be good (Barnett) is old and showing his age. Shep isn't playing like I would like him too and we have a lot of young guys too that either look too small or too slow. Our D line can stop the run and when they don't our LB's need to tackle. The other night against the Vikings our LB's missed too many tackles that should have been 2 or 3 yard gains that turned into 10 or 15 yard gains. Our D line looked good but we are a play maker away in the LB corp to do anything this year. Next year first rounder should be a LB.
  5. I think the first team they neet to get past is the Jets. The last couple of times we played the Jets, they bully us all over the field and we let them. Giving into them and let them play their game. The second game last year was a little better but when stevie dropped that ball it was all out of fear of getting hit. That is what the Jets have done to us. So in order to compete or even talk about the Patriots we have to get over the Jets first and play consistently against the Fins (because quite frankly we be ourselves twice last year against the Fins). Go Bills!!
  6. Who Cares it's not our problem!!
  7. I LOVE what Buddy is doing, signing good FA's and taking care of our own. Great Job Buddy, keep it up..
  8. Jeff Fuller, Texas A&M (6-4, 223, 4.58) James Brown, Troy (6-4, 306, 5.30) Coryell Judie, Texas A&M (6-0, 194, 4.48) Levy Adcock, Oklahoma State (6-6, 320, 5.22) Matt Veldman, North Dakota State (6-7, 256, 4.73)
  9. No, and here is why. We need good young corners (Williams and Gilmore) to replace the aging Florance and McGee. So what is wrong with that. Glenn is a stud, played LT and LG against the best players in College football in the best conference and held his own. And we needed speed on the outside at WR so what is wrong with that
  10. And who are you? I trust in Buddy and until everyone on this board can you will always question him. He is obviously an evaluator of talent and pretty good at it. His first draft here was a little shakey but at least Spiller turned it on at the end of last season. I also think Troup will be a better DT then he was a NT. So we will see. But last year his draft rocked in the first three rounds (3 starters); this year so far (2 starters and one possible starter)
  11. I would give someone a third and a fourth to draft David or a WR like Hill. Let's do it Buddy.
  12. I take David, then i trade back up into the 2nd round giving whoever our third and a fourth rounder and draft our LT like Martin. This way we only lose 1 pick and still have two picks today.
  13. Those aren't the only two guys in the war room and I am sure if something odd or unexpected happened Buddy or Chan would have gotten a call or text. And the interview was only 10 minutes long.
  14. Martin....really. Is that why Martin is still on the board??
  15. 1. I like the tackles you have chosen and where you got them 2. I think we go with Gilmore/Kirkpatrick in the first I bet we trade down with Dallas because they love Barron and we still get Kirkpatrick. 3. We get a WR in the 4th round (ah la J. Fuller Texas A&M or T. Streeter Miami) 4. I just see Buddy picking a lot of SEC players in the first 3 to 4 rounds. Take a look at last year’s draft 2 of the first 3 were from the SEC and the one that wasn’t from the SEC (A. Williams) came from a great Texas defense. Buddy isn’t stupid. The first draft class from Buddy he picked a lot of questionable talent from smaller schools, and last year he picked from a lot of bigger programs and they played right away and performed. Even with our free-agent signs we aren’t good enough to take flyers on guys and hope they turn out better than projected.
  16. I like Jeff Fuller as a WR better then Micheal Floyd. Fuller is bigger and just as productive, maybe even more productive if it wasn't for him being hurt in the beginning of last year. He's got football in him (i.e. Leslie Fuller S played 6 years for the 49ers). And Fuller (6'4" 220) is bigger then Floyd (6'2" 220). Plus if we drop the Floyd talk we can work on another position of need i.e. LB or OT with the first pick and get Fuller in round 3 or 4 (probably 4). JMO.
  17. It's not a given. Buddy wont draft a OT because of a team need. He has proven that he doesn't draft that way before. He will take the best player available and wont let any outside distractions dictate which way he goes. I for one think he will draft a WR with #10 (Floyd). This guy has more upside then any LT in this draft other then Kalil and we would be dumb for not getting him if he is there. There are a lot of other players on the board better then any other LT beside Kalil. So I see us getting a LT but not until round 2 or 3. I believe in Buddy and Chan and they will do what is right.
  18. I am with you draft Floyd, or another playmaker with the first pick. The reason why I like Floyd is because he has a little attitude (which is needed on this team). Floyd kind of reminds me of Steve Smith. I also thought about our LT position. There is no LT worthy of the 10th pick in this draft besides Kalil. I don't think we should reach here. Although we might try trading back into the first round if Martin or Adams are still there in the late 20's. I also think there is some talent late like FSU's Datko in the late rounds.
  19. i say pick Tannehill. The reason being, since Nix and Co. took over they have done a good job of finding talent late in the draft or off other teams practice squad or scrubs and making something out of them. Our team is getting bigger on both sides of the ball. No LT is worthy of the 10th pick in my opinion except Kalil but he will be long gone. I believe in building a team from the inside out (meaning starting with the line)and that to me looks like the same road Nix is taking, except for the spiller pick. I mean his second pick was Troup (he hasn't come around yet but as a back up in the 4-3 he could be a force), Darues last year (nuff said that was a can't miss pick), Sheppard, and Carrington. I know there is more just can't look them up right now due to a time crunch. And most of his skill guys have been the scrubs or cast offs, and have been performing ok. Fitz, was luck, and a proven back-up before joining the Bills. I like Fitz, but he is not the answer at QB. If Tannehill is there why take him with #10. I don't think he will be around but who knows. I think if anyone trades with us it would be Cleveland with their late round pick, and the only way I would do that is this years #1 and next years #1. That would be a no brainer and a different topic all together. As for Tannehill, he proved himself at his work-out day. By far the third best QB in the draft and if there was any doubters he proved them wrong. He played in a similar system then we play while at Texas A&M, so he would instantly be an upgrade from Thigpen and push Fitz to his max while learning the pro system from him. So what do we have to lose. JMO.
  20. I'd give Denver a forth for Tebow
  21. The last game of the year between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots: Do you think Chan pulling Stevie was planned all along? I mean after watching the second half of the first meeting and the first quarter of the second the Bills offense owned the Pats D and were moving the ball at will. Do you think Chan pulled him so he wouldn't give to much away for this upcoming year. Think about it, the Bills weren't playing for anything last year and after they pulled Stevie and other starters they gave up pretty much. If the Bills were to beat them they would have more film on how the Bills were doing it and be more prepared this year. Just a thought....
  22. Do you think we should go after him to be a filler for a couple years and draft a WR? Could be a deep threat but let's be honest Fitz doesn't have a deep ball and plays a very good short to medium range pass game.
  23. I was just listening to NFL radio and they mentioned something about the Vikings may be looking to trade J. Allen. Do you think they would take a 4th rounder for him or maybe a third since we have 2 4th rounders? Could you imagine that line Mario, Dareus, Kyle, and Jared wow!!
  24. OK so if you upgrade who are you going to dump, you can't have 3 RT on the roster and they just gave pears an extension and Hairston was a rookie last year.
