I’m a fan so it will not effect the Bills who I focus on.

Yes, I have been thinking about the Steelers being 12-0 coming into Buffalo. Looking forward to that game!

after the bye, I'm glad we have two winnable games to get ready for the Stealers and to get our lines right. With Morse and Ford coming back to the OL, maybe we can get some push or at least not be embarrassing. On D, I'm hoping Phillips is ready and Oliver steps up in the stretch run. I think our only hope is to get our lines playing a lot better than vs. Az. Plus, we get Milano back....

It sounds crazy maybe a little bit but maybe we hit the end of the season hitting on all cylinders. Fix the ground game and I think it helps Josh a lot....Although after the Phoenix game, it looks like the whole offense needs to be reworked . We need our TEs and secondary receivers and RBs back in the passing game as well....

Maybe I'm asking for too much but all of that is what we need to happen if we are to have any chance of being dangerous in the playoffs.

  2. It seems the Bills Like Ford best at guard even though he makes all kinds of mistakes. I think the Bills think Ford can eventually play through all the errors and then we would end up with a guard that can win his match up in the pass and especially the run.

I don't know what was going on yesterday but the announcer felt the Bills should be able to run vs. the Cards beat up line and we went backwards instead. It was very disconcerting. Like, our line sucks at run blocking disconcerting.... We got beat so bad it was unbelievable to watch.  If we can't fix that, we'll probably lose the division to the fish.

    I love Allen.

    I love Diggs.

Nobody can watch Beasley one on one.

If Smoke has his wheels we are deadly (but clearly he does not and it may require surgery).

Davis and McKenzie seem to be capable of hurting opponents but only when Diggs, Smoke and Beasley draw to themselves.

Knox is having a disastrous sophomore season. And this hurts are ability to show other dangerous looks.

No TE, No run game, no Smoke, and our offense is just mediocre....

We probably need to get all three going to go anywhere in the playoffs.

We get all three going and Daboll can really get defenses back on their toes, imho....

If we get both the best version of our O and our D and just as importantly our STs going we can play with anybody....

    Can we?

I have no idea....but our STs were just as important as any unit yesterday. We were winning with our STs with those long kicks but then Roberts not only mysteriously decided to go out of the endzone, he looked very slow in doing so.... Then Bojo Kicked a few bad punts and we are never there to keep the punt from going in the endzone in addition to the lousy punts.... They cost us all kinds of yardage....

Frustratingly, our best players played the Hail Mary all wrong in the end and you wonder why they didn't play it much better; much smarter....

    back to the drawing board....

    Go Bills!

I like him, but think we should draft a speed WR early.   If we do, that likely means he takes McKenzie’s role.

It’s quite obvious how important speed opposite Diggs is in this offense with Allen’s arm.   If Brown misses any time, as we’ve seen, we don’t really have anyone to play that role.

We definitely need speed and we definitely need to keep adding it. I like McKenzie a lot at #5, he's a Buffalo Bill.

We have to love ok at getting younger there and keeping costs down but if we can sign him for vet min. I think half of his contract will no longer count against the cap (or, is he too young still?) and under those circumstances he would be a great signing.....

But make no mistake, the Bills have to keep their passing game getting better and better.....that means speed and WRs....

To sum up: I think we'll have a lot of wholes along the roster and we would maybe be better off filling those other ones and keeping McKenzie...

Just remember that JB's injury is one of the reasons JA minislumped....

A shape shifting offense aka Bill Belicheat,

only the Bills don’t need to bend and break the rules and garner the benefit of the Refs to win.

The Bills have had a TD not called against Seattle and make a Bills reception an INT for the Rams!

    Fight on Buffalo!!!

    Let's Go Buffalo!

Knock the door off it's hinges, that's the only way Buffalo is going to get anything....

While what you are stating is somewhat true, the Bills have played 1 more game then several of the teams/players you have pointed out

Bills also have more field goal attempts that punts.

Just ten years ago, it seemed like that would never happen, thanks to the NFL, it seems like that is going to be a fairly common anomaly.

  6. I think we should run a 4- 1- 6.  To really slow them down and earn it. Dean Marlowe looked like he belonged on the field vs. the pats all game long. Dean Marlowe is one of our better football players and he deserves another shot to prove it again.

i wish we could field a better four. I wish we could rest Tremaine Edmunds for a month. From last Monday till after the bye. But our front four is what it is. Our MLB has no back up whatsoever..... Beane has had a horrible offseason missing on just about everything on his new defense.

But we can get Marlowe and Hyde and Poyer on the field and those three however small they are can tackle and teach how to tackle. We can trust them.

I mean, it seems like our only choice to me.... 4 - 1 - 6.

  7. Well, we'll see if we can beat seven back know that the other variables appear to be restored. Although JB I think is still FU.....

I think it's interesting that the seahags are stout vs. the run. Do we just throw or try to do both so we can play keep away?

Do we try an Offside K this week trying to steal a possession? Something like that has to happen I think. We definitely need STs to win. How are Seattle's STs? Ours are not playing that well particularly our punter on short to medium kicks I think...

We have good linebackers. We need them healthy and we need Edmunds back to his 2019 form.

We need Edmunds much better than 2019 form. We need probowl play from that spot and it’s no where even close.

The from not four are really lacking as well.

    No one is playing well.

Im hoping the BilLs show something tomorrow but the chefs are a pretty poor team to hope your defense wakes up against.

Everybody is forgetting how terrible our STs played last week.... PU.... And every year, we spend so much money on fixing them...

    nutty....

Brown should help, but it's up to Josh to take what the defense is giving him and Daboll and the staff to make sure he does that.

It’s Josh’s powerful arm and aggressiveness which makes our offense special. In those first four wins we weren’t exactly taking five to ten yard chunks so it’s a fine line in what you’re asking. I think we’re trying to make a unique and special offense that features Josh and with that growing pains are going to occur. I want to see Josh at his absolute best not a copy of some other QB.

That might be one of the most infuriating “interceptions” I’ve ever witnessed.

    Time. Place. Player. Circumstance.

Roberts, who is normally never even in that situation, could not have picked a worse moment to flub what should have been a 15 yard strike for a first down.

I saw it at a couple different angles and I thought it was a very hard to catch pass. The ball came in very fast and hard and kind of pinned him at a bad angle (behind him.) While he could have caught it, it was a very difficult catch, imho...

To be honest, not sure if the Bills have run enough to be effectively graded in that department. Singletary is averaging near 5 per carry, though, I believe, which should say something.

Overall happy with the pass pro which is great to see.

Singletary is averaging a lot for two reasons: one, we run when we want to into a schemed running game vs. a defense that isn’t sure if it’s a pass or a run. And two, Singletary is very good.

When you can run vs. defenses that defending the run, you’re good at running, we’re not there yet.

Ive been watching a lot of football this year and I agree, the Bills could actually be the best at pass blocking. I’m amazed at how much poorer some teams are compared to us but then again, our guys are so impressive, they speak for themselves. And this is just one of many reasons Josh Allen is playing so freakin’ we’ll....

For the last 2 years, I've thought the Chiefs got the better of us when they moved up to #10 and drafted Mahomes while we got very valuable draft picks and a top CB. Now that Allen has come of age, the question deserves to be revisited? Mahomes has won a SB, a SB MVP and a league MVP. Pretty impressive. The Bills have never won a SB, but each week Josh Allen looks more and more like a QB that could give us the grand prize since 1964-1965. Will Josh Allen be sporting a SB ring some day? Will he win more rings than Mahomes? Clearly both teams benfitted from that blockbuster trade, but who got the better deal?

It may come down to the guy we actually got using the chefs picks. I thought Tremaine Edmunds, at least I was really hoping, thatTremaine would come out like a man that owned the field this year (since it is not only year three for JoshAllen but Tremaine Edmunds as well.).  Well, that didn’t happen. In fact, it looks far from t. Edmunds has been very slow to diagnose run plays, he’s seldom in the right spot, in passing plays he’s like st in a zone, seldom near the ball. He is NOT playing well.

The good news it is only week four and perhaps McD and company can work withEdmunds to turn his game around. Itseems he lacks the desire as well, imho, but I’m still going to give him the benefit of doubt. The point is, if Edmunds can do it, if he can clearly looklike a pro bowler, we can beat the chefs and win a SB.

Took a while, and yep turning the corner on him and like many here trying to temper my excitement.

Outside Oldmanfan and a few others, I'm wondering who else misses those 17-13 games and the offense going into "Prevent Offense" after halftime?

It was that Pittsburgh game and Duck Hodges that really exasperated me last year, and hope those days are behind the Bills.

All of this, 100%, was just part of the process. He was bringing his QB along in every way imaginable. He cut him loose when Josh and the whole offense was ready. The timeline, Taking three years to build it is very good, imho. I think this kind of obvious when you look at the whole three years. You want your very young QB, ready and his offense, ready, when you give it your best shot (at creating a franchise QB.)

He did not surrender his defense very much in building the offense. The defense will come around if his players remain healthy.

The chefs make up is very much like that of the Bills. Both franchises spend a lot on defense and value it highly. The chefs D kept them close in the Super Bowl and again last week vs. the pats.

Offense only is just a big pile of bull-crap.

They are going to try to run it down our throats.

    That's the game plan.

They don't have the ability or mismatches against our guys (Milano and the Safeties will keep Waller in check).

I just hope the Secondary doesn't take the scrubs out there lightly because if Carr is hot it could be a problem.  Especially if they're running it well.

Front 7 you guys are under the spotlight this week.  That oline is banged up and you just got abused by the Rams.

Well said. Tremaine was awful last week, whoever the LDT was also poor. We’ll see if we can slow down a running game this week.

I’ll tell ya, I rewatched that Houston playoff game a couple of times and Star really played well in that game. He made critical third and short stops for us and know he is gone.

This will be a great test to see if we can stop the run.

Derek Carr has a very quick release.  He throws quick and accurate short timing passes.  With the Fitz success vs. Levi and a general lack of respect for the middle coverage by MLB Edmunds in the RAMS game it's a possibility!

    Regardless, GO BILLS!

Well, Carr can try, but It’s going to be tough with Levi on the sideline.....

Josh Norman gets his shot this week. Somebody has to sit.  This is a good problem as Levi is a good football player.

We are doing what we are supposed to do, we are trying to get better. Hopefully, Mr. Norman can find the Carolina magic and really solidify our secondary adding toughness and big play ability.

(Now, someone has to get Tremaine convinced he is a star and have him play like one. Then, we can play with KC ....)
