Nice list and a nice read, thanks. Want to do an All- Miami list? LOL, he’s really kicked their asses quite a bit and I sure hope he continues to do so…. I think that’s up to Beane though…. And I hope KA looks way better this year….

Kaiir Elam - Breakout Player of 2023
billybrew1 replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
You are absolutely correct about Elam and White determining our fate but you forgot Hyde & Poyer. They are just as important and way more iffy at this point. The good news is if by some miracle everyone stays back there stays healthy we could be really good if KD takes a huge step in 2023-24…. -
I dunno, this guy seems too good to be true… I hope he comes here and wins a Bills’ contract, I really do. He could be another Fred Jackson for us, sounds like, but a WR…. But Fred did everything right, everything. Just like it seems this guy does…. I hope is a Fred Jackson and not a Tim Settle (who also came here highly acclaimed from Washington but as of yet, showed nothing to speak of. Which will it be?

Levi Wallce buried on depth chart; if he's cut...?
billybrew1 replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the Bills know how to draft corners and that we will be good at corner this year. Of course, we have to hope Tre White makes it most of the way back. Maybe he’ll be even better at some things though? I love Elam and hope the team uses him correctly this year and that he kicks ass. Benford is an excellent prospect. Dane is a cool 4th or fifth option for sure. We drafted a corner… We’re good at corner, imho. -
I think we’re going to use him more as an afterthought this year. Let defenses forget about him like when he a #4 WR….Then hit him for a TD…. The ball is going to go to Diggs, then Kincaid, then everyone else….
-
If that’s true and if he is a dominant RG in the pros. We can move Bates back to left and we’d be in business on the OL… But fixing our OL depends largely on KD who called way too many time consuming plays. We’ve got to bring back the short passing game, the easier passing game, to the Bills… We need more easier bread and butter plays… We need to fix all three…. The playbook, the receivers and the line….

You get one player this offseason…who is it?
billybrew1 replied to McBean's topic in The Stadium Wall
But, of course, realistically, that’s the last thing we need. We need bargain greatness, not another super high-priced player. We are supposed to getting better through the draft, but we’re just not making it… and we’re broke spending on mediocre free agents. It’s just a mess right now…. I’m sorry…. -
Von Miller's injury, and pass rush needs this offseason
billybrew1 replied to Yantha's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s true, McBeane threw a mountainful of resources towards our DL since inception. Don’t forget DaQuon, Ed and Settle. All big money and/or resources. And mediocrity is all we have to show for it. I think if Leslie was given a young Bruce Smith we would have never heard of him. The linemen is Frazier’s D do what they are told. They do not read and react. This often leads to disasters…. I wish we had Wade Philips back as DC… but even he would need a year to get his boys here. Maybe more as our cap situation is very dire…. Remember that DL he built here? He brought in my second favorite Bill of all-time in Ted Washington. He drafted Marcellus Wiley (and even better, MLB Sam Cowart. And even better than that, Antoine Winfield.) He had an old but still relavent Bruse Smith. He had Hanson too I Billieve. Plus an up and coming Pat Washington…. Man, now that was a defense! Definitely the best D we have had in the modern era. I still can’t accept how stupid Tom Donahoe was…. Although it wasn’t his fault Sam Cowart was the victim of a severe cheap shot. Tom was incredibly stupid signing Lawson while letting both Winfield and Williams exit in FA…. I remember Marv Levy had major coordinator problems and couldn’t solve them either…. ah…. I’m thru ranting for awhile…. Our situation is very depressing though…. -
Joe Buscaglia’s Early Thoughts on the Bills Needs Going Into 2023

He doesn’t really like his weapons either…. It’s cray-cray to keep KD….just Crazy…. -
How confident are you the Bills beat the Bengals?
billybrew1 replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
I might have agreed with you if the bengals were healthy, but they are not. The question arises; Can our coaches take major advantage of the Bengals missing a whoppping three OL? I don’t know what our defense is doing half the time. The QB has the ball all day with zero pressure. If that is our tactic again I think the Bengals shred us on those plays. I think KD has lost Josh Allen as well…. I’m sorry…. I’m sorry…. But that is what I see… Josh went from the best player in the NFL…. To someone easily not the best player in the NFL….. Last spring I didn’t think an OC could have that kind of effect on a vet QB but there’s no denying it. The Giants are now running our offense and we are….. not. Just a total freakin’ disaster. It doesn’t explain why the defense fell too, but that’s what happened. -
I'm not Blue, you and Josh Allen are. (All Blues vs. Pats)

I for one really like the old inuiforms and wanted to see them this year. -
FOX: AFC East Analysis including Tua and Mike
billybrew1 replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen played mistake free football towards the end of last season for a prolonged period of time. He did it once he can do it again. -
However….. Devin and James are certainly a good enough pair of running backs…
-
And, I have no idea of where we could get him, maybe late in the draft? but it would be a dream to have a back like Josh Jacobs to pair with Cook. I’m a huge Singletary fan. He does most things well, he could catch a lot better though…. A tough blocker, a great runner, he gets what’s there and then some. He gets first downs when it doesn’t look like he is going to make it…. But to have a true full-size powerback that can also block very well and to pair him up with a guy like Cook…. And then have an OC that runs until the safeties creep up…or at least the D does more to stop the run…. Then hit them with Allen throwing…. Our current receivers might be good enough then….

I like Mixon and Perine personally….

Week 15: Dolphins at Bills on Saturday Night Football
billybrew1 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
If this was true we wouldn’t have drafted a CB (twice) in the the first round and we definitely wouldn’t have traded up…. I can’t say why Elam isn’t playing, could be a # of things including…. Hasn’t played CB on the right side often, is terrible vs. the run, Doesn’t play our D nearly as mistake free as Jackson, Bills waiting on their man D, hoping to spring it in the playoffs. Elam is hurt. They’re worried about a Tre White reinjury…and want to keep Elam ready on the left…who knows? -
The Saffold Report - Week 8, Packers v. Bills, 10/30/22

Why? They won’t answer…. -
Have you ever seen so many teams "give up" to a team before
billybrew1 replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think they were playing for next week and beyond…. let’s see if they win this week now that have their run game going…. -
Week 8, 10/30/2022, Packers v. Bills GAME BALLS
billybrew1 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Definitely would add Ed Oliver and Jordan Philips penetrating for us….making plays…. We need great play from our defensive tackles and they looked healthy today. For the first time in since week one really for Ed and Week two for Jordan. Looks like we fell asleep at halftime - going to have to work on that. Both sides of the ball had an awful second half. The defense was playing the pass which explains how bad they were vs. the run but then they were bad vs. the pass too…. We did win by ten though…. Off tonight, back to work Tuesday…. -
He is a big piece of our attack. Crowder is gone for who knows how long, we have Shakir but you need a lot of weapons… Can anyone imagine Hodgson or Kumerow in a big game? If I squint really hard, maybe I can… I can Kumerow catching a TD this Sunday in fact. Then the camera goes to a POed Rogers…. LOL…. is this year going to be us crossing our fingers every week that no one gets hurt too bad and we kind of easily roll to victory every week? It’s all about injuries for us now…. If OBJ gets really healthy and we work him out like a street free agent to really see if he can run his routes and he passes every test I say sign him. Can we do that to OBJ? I sure hope so…. Anyway, OBJ gives us another big time weapon and it also stops him from playing against us. It’ll hurt next season but we of all people know how hard it is to win a Super Bowl. And if we do win it maybe it breaks the ice for us to win more? Like, Allen just Billieves he is going to win it all every year after this year! That would sure make it worth it. we all just saw how the offense lagged when Davis just sprained an ankle so having insurance against injury to win that first big one is definitely worth it. Nobody seems to talk about it but we are thin at WR…. We’re thin at OT, G and WR imho… I think we’re good at RB. Cook is going to improve starting this Sunday and we have Moss in the garage. Singletary is fantastic, imho…. We can’t get an upgrade at OL most likely so OBJ is the target….

THE trade target we should be targeting... (Elgton Jenkins)
billybrew1 replied to glazeduck's topic in The Stadium Wall
But I do love how intelligent the Buffalo fans are knowing where we need help…. I’m mean, we need a guy that can have success at both tackle spots and I’m not sure this guy is it but I think a good backup C/G would also help. Really surprised that Williams doesn’t seem to give a ***** about a chance at the SB… He must hate training so hard, IDK? -
Eagles make big move. Trade for Robert Quinn
