  1. Man! Bills got some work to do! Maybe it's good we have an early bye?
  2. The real question is how could everyone be so wrong about Cody Ford? Can he still improve? You laugh but he hasn't played much RG in his entire career and hasn't played much pro ball at all. So, conceivably, Ford could still work out if we are patient and the Bills seem as patient as pudding when it comes to Ford.... I wish I still had the Pittsburgh game. Later in that game I thought I saw Watt get destroyed by a guard coming to help Williams a couple times but I never rewatched the game because we lost..... : (
  3. I don't think 30.... The Pittsburgh game was Abysmal. They really cleaned it up vs. Miami although there was often one guy coming in on Josh to little effect (because Josh ditched him) and then Ford got killed vs. Washington. No way were second from the last.... Though we will be drafting two interior OL next season, one in the 2nd round.
  4. I'm here, close score at least, hows the QBs look?
  5. But he tore up the middle of the field last week and still wasn't considered as the MVP.... Its hard for Beasley to win a MVP....What do you think he needs? Plus, he's got to beat out Allen plus Daboll spreads the ball around like crazy usually. Last week, he really didn't, with Diggs, Beasley and Sanders getting most of the targets and he still couldn't win..... I think a WR on the Bills needs minimally to be considered over a 100 yards and two TDs..... unless we're in a defensive struggle anyhow.... Conclusion....Sanders and Diggs are the only WRs that could win a game MVP for the Bills. And it is probably only Diggs really... Don't listen to them, Addison is visible in his few snaps that he gets. Hard to win a MVP with those kind of snaps though...
  6. Division? Think big, think the league, bro! Because it's true, Josh is at the very top of the league. He is a MVP candidate. He has the ability (within the offense that McBeane constructed) to make us almost unbeatable on any given week. He can raise us up that high, yes he can. Go Bills!
  7. Poor Refereeing has wrecked the NFL since inception? You just have to hope your team is not too bad of a victim when an important game is being played. Luckily, us Bills fans never had to worry much as we seldom play important games. Things are different right now but I suggest you focus on something else. The Bills have a long list of improvements needed before the playoffs arrive and they are focusing on that. Go Bills!
  8. Meh, I STILL have hope, that's the kind of blind Bills fan I am! He can do it! Go Bills! But in all seriousness. He gives us some toughness and he can run block. He is very inexperienced as a RG. He is very inexperienced as a NFL player! He was playing a great DT and not getting any help. It is possible he could still improve his pass blocking dramatically. There's big trouble coming up though as KC has the great Chris Jones and he'll line up over Ford. He is more athletic than Payne (the WTF DT) so once he beats Ford he could give Josh problems. Payne really did not as Josh ran away reset his feet and fired completions. Difficult for most QBs not for Josh once he's feeling it... Anyway, we can't let Chris Jones hit Josh....Right now, it looks to be a problem. A big problem if Cody doesn't show vast improvement.
  9. I would have picked an OL seeing as how we were up against the wtf DL.... Maybe Dion? As I said earlier, Ford is a concern moving forward after that game....
  10. Especially if you have that extremely rare QB that can make all the throws even in poor conditions like we are currently blessed with. Both Beasley and Sanders are old and both are very key players to our system. We will be drafting receivers over RBs higher for the foreseeable future. Singletary and Moss both excel in one RB quality; pass blocking. That is no coincidence. Devin and Zach are both underrated as all around players besides. I'm telling you, this offense is designed to do what Josh Allen is good at, the are few other considerations. Hopefully, Brian gets the time to draw up some plays that Devin can excel at and our OL can execute but that stuff is tertiary at best in our offense. It's all about making Josh comfortable and happy taking advantage of his massive skill set. Maybe as Josh continues to improve he can do things to help running backs more. Things like taking snaps from under center and passing from it better. Or play play-action passes. These plays would help the run game.
  11. I've maintained since we drafted Singletary and Moss, they are NFL quality. That sure wasn't a bragging game for Singletary but I really think most of the plays they are calling for him are weak and not executed well besides. They are very often telegraphed and look clutzy, etc. Speaking of Thurman, I wonder if our line could run the counter trey effectively? I think Devin is very similar to Thurman and should be able to run similar plays effectively. Moss sure had himself a couple two weeks didn't he? He really has looked very impressive but don't rule out Singletary remaining as an option in this offense. And Bills fans, forget about the Bills drafting a RB high. It is going to be linemen for the foreseeable future. Aside from linemen look for receivers and outside CBs as higher options.... Next year's picks are going to be (if BPA matches up): DT first, C/G second, Receiver (TE/WR) third. CB fourth. CB May be higher if we lose both Wallace and TJ...... (man, that would suck). If we lose both ....DT, CB, C/G, CB again. I'm thinking the Bills go on a youth movement next year and retire Star, Jerry and Mario making DT a big need.... It'll be interesting to see if Beane can get ED and Tremaine to resign with us at lower rates. I don't think either is a top NFL player but both are young and more than adequate..... I think the Bills are afraid of FAs more or less and want to stay with these guys but you never know. Upgrades would sure be exciting and interesting. Tremaine is a controversial BB for good reason. Though I really like his huge size in the back seven. Just wish he was in on way more plays and made more initial plays and big plays. I guess my point was I don't see RB as a high draft selection till Singletary is no longer a Bill because Linemen, Receivers And cornerbacks are just much higher needs on this team.
  12. Speaking of better late than never upon a rewatch of the Bills Redskins game it became clear that Cody Ford could not come close to blocking whoever he was lined-up against..... Thankfully, Allen always saw him coming and dodged the defender easily. This is something to keep an eye on. It was a hope of mine that Ford would be or at least develop into a top guard in this league. From the skins game, and Cody's career so far it is becoming clear that this is a spot the Bills really need to upgrade next season. I see the Bills going DT in round one and C/G in round two next season. The interesting thing is why doesn't Cody Ford display the very high potential Brandon Beane and just about every Bills fan that followed the draft felt? I remember so many fans wanted us to take him at nine, LOL, saying he was a definite sure thing. Granted, Cody was up against one of the best the NFL has to offer in Washington's DL, but it seemed a DT was coming in on Allen over Cody's spot about every other pass, not good. The Bills better be ready to help Cody out vs. KC or at least have Allen very aware that KC's awesome DT is going to be coming in over Cody's spot an awful lot and KC's DT is a lot more athletic than the guy from Washington. LOL, I can't think of the guy from KC's name (is it Chris Jones?) But I do remember that the guy is a game wrecker. I don't know why he hasn't been more visible this year yet? Maybe he has? IDK?
  13. You're projecting, that's the patriots that will do anything to win.
  14. Old McDonald's? I think I know him. Does he own a farm?
  15. We get one more week of these domination games and then it's on to KC. Anyone who thinks KC is out of it is nuts. This is a monumental game for Josh Allen and the Bills to Billieve they can beat them. On the LOS and the scoreboard. We win that game we're sitting pretty and ready to face Tennessee (who also is a damn good team but I think we owe them and a KC win will help us take care of business the following week. We will have grown. Go JA17! Go Bills!
  16. This year's schedule is a lot easier than last year's so you'll get no complaints from me....
  17. So, if we're not trading for Zach Ertz, who are we going to get? How could we get help with the pass rush? It looks like our real pass rush plan is to include a DB to the pass rush. I think if we can get a DB unabated to the QB not even Mahomes can make a positive play out of it..... Big if though.... It was disappointing that our front four who looked like they were really trying to pass rush, couldn't really come close to sacking the QB. Is Jerry Hughes still playing? What is he doing? If Josh Allen can make that next step, I don't think there is anyone who can stop us. With our receivers, OL, RBs with Josh playing at his very best I think we can score nearly every possession. I really do. Wasn't that :26 sec FG drive awesome?! Thats What Josh can do when he Billieves in himself and is not afraid. And that was in heavy wind. If we can get homefield, that KC game is looking sooooo large to me, Allen's skills double at the Ralph. If we get homefield all other QBs should have troubles with the wind but Allen can throw passes that tear through it. I don't think Mahomes throws passes like Josh does. I don't think anyone throws like Josh does.... C'mon Josh, stay on top of your game and win that match in KC!
  18. Do you think that list is going to hold true come week 18? Do you think the chefs are through? Do you think it is now impossible for Josh to regress? Lets be hungry but let's not forget to be humble.
  19. I thought this was neat..... the cameras showed Josh Allen's face in his first series and he looked like a deer in spot lights at and then he looked like a hawk by half-time. He threw himself out of that slump. In the 2nd half he was the same 'ol Josh we know and love.... Allen is the most important Bill and we need Josh to be great for us to win the whole enchilada so of course, he gets my game ball. Go Bills!
  20. I gave a check mark but he has to clean up those running plays for Singletary. There just clumsy looking all too often.
  21. There are a lot of possibilities. I think wtf is a sleeping giant. I think they have talent comparable to the stealers but they are waiting for their leadership to mature Taylor Heineken if famous for his duel vs. he who shall not be named in last year's playoffs. He looked pretty good vs. the G-men last week as well. Do not underestimate WTF's weapons as they have enough in: RBs Gibson and Patterson and receivers: Logan Thomas, Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel And others. The defense boasts the most talented DL in the NFL and that is saying something indeed. So far this year they have not really shown it, but no one really knows why. Hopefully it is not this week that they decided to turn it on. Maybe it is because WTF elected to draft a MLB to lead the defense for the next decade and being a rookie now, he simply may be overwhelmed. Jamin Davis is his name, I don't expect him to be ready yet, but the DL might still turn its lights on. On the Bills all eyes are on one player; Josh Allen. Last season he legitimately came in second in MVP voting and is a favorite to win the award this year. Talk about ticking time bombs. If Josh finds his A-game Buffalo wins it is as simple as that. Josh would of course be the MVP if he plays up to his potential. Who's going to break out this week? Will our two hot, young Defensive Linemen tear it up again? If one lineman plays great an OL has trouble, if two play great it can easily wreck a game (look no further than Pittsburgh-Buffalo and Watt and Hayward for proof). When you have two very good DL playing and send DBs on top of it, QBs get hurt. I can see another QB going down for Washington at Buffalo if Leslie decides to bring it again. Seeing as how we are up against another young QB I don't see why we wouldn't do it again. I noticed AJ's ability to bring the hurt last season not this one. His hit on Tua was no accident. I predicted pregame vs. Pitt that Espenesa would take Rothlesburger out of the game, I was just one week off. I don't think Washington has the OL to keep Heineken clean. I would look to our DL and blitzes to have another big week. If Allen continues to play poorly and WTF's DL brings the heat it could be a nail biter but Buffalo will win at home. If Allen Struggles I look to Singletary and Moss to lift the team up. I hope Daboll has a lot of solid run calls for the two of them. So they are good picks for MVP in this game too.... My list of candidates: Josh Allen, Devin Singletary and Zach Moss as a pair, and lastly, AJ Epenesa And Gregory Rousseau as a pair... Who I want to see win: Josh Allen. I think we all want to see Super Josh again and ASAP. Who I think will win MVP: IDK, I like the odds for all three....But if Josh wins it we win really big like 49 - 13. Yes, Josh And this team is that good. If Josh plays like the first two weeks and so does Washington, Bills 32 - WTF - 17. If Josh still sleeps and Washington's DL plays to their potential.... Bills 23 - Washington - 21. I think a lot of fans thank Singletary and Moss in such a score. Go Bills!
  22. To me, it's kinda amazing how he has taken several steps back after being at the very tip-top of all-around great QB play. He is now off everywhere just about. Is his neck really hurt and making him worry thereby taking him off his game? I don't know but I sure hope he starts to resemble 2020 Josh once again. I actually thought and really still Billieve he will not only match last season but he will surpass it by playing nearly flawless ball that will be nearly impossible to stop as long as his OL and his weapons stay healthy. I still Billieve this is his destiny this year. I don't think KC can beat us if Josh realizes his best. If not by week five, then the rematch in January. IMHO, he was very close to Mahomes before his receivers got all beat up. The numbers back this up. I see no reason why he can't recapture that form and then surpass it. He is young enough. I think we have the weapons to win it all this year. Josh, McD, Leslie And Daboll Just have to put it all together, together. Diggs, Dion, Daryl, Feliciano, Jerry, AJ, Gregory, Tre, Tremaine, and the list just goes on and on and on - won't let them down. The whole team is very good. C'mon Josh, just do it and take your place as one of the All-time greats and win it all; everything. Go Bills!
  23. Something Has Got To Give..... JA17 is one of the best players in the league yet has looked pretty bad so far this year, is this the week he finds his game? Josh is facing the best DL in the NFL this week but so far this year all four have looked human; is this the week they open it up? Try to copy the Stealers game plan? Is Josh ready to throw short all the way down the field if needed? Has Daboll given us good, smart run plays to use to stop the front four from teeing off? Josh has shown the skill to beat any defense last season and if he is on, like last season, he should move the ball right down the field utilizing: Singletary, Sanders, Diggs, Beasley, Davis, Knox and Moss. It's all up to Josh to make it work. It will be interesting to see what kind of defense McD/Leslie chose to use this week. From 2017 - 2020 in the regular season the Bills D mainly used a walk-back front four driving the OL into the QB. A very safe and boring defense to run. Then, in the playoffs (and a few regular season games) they'd open things up and blitz frequently trying very hard to hit the opposing QB, this year, so far, we have shown our playoffs defense. Are we going to play all out, all year? Im excited to see what we're going to do...I think since we are playing a young QB and have young DEs, we keep up playing our pressure D. Im going with my standard score prediction: Bills - 34, WTF - 17. If Josh Allen wakes up and plays at his peak potential: Bills - 49, WTF - 13..... The NFL looks at Buffalo with awe.... and already starts to talk about the big week five matchup. (Not The Bills, the media) Hey! Nice write-up, thanks. Go Bills!
