What a draft pick? What a draft!!! Groot, Boogie then Spencer Brown?! C'mon now! This draft is going to compete with the 2017 draft for best draft in the last 20 - 25 years. (Along with the Allen draft, LOL!) Do not right off Boogie. He's the real deal, too! And so is Espenensa! Three very good DEs..... And Spencer Brown might be the best pick of all, who knows? I say we hit the lines again next season! Go DT, then C/G with the first two picks (if their there). Groot probably ends up being the biggest playmaker of the three, but Boogie And AJ are good, solid picks and football players. I noticed all three yesterday and it was because they were flashing.... Go Bills! PS - Maybe we can afford to draft another big receiver (TE or WR) in the third this year? If we sign Wallace I think we can. Go DT, C/G, WR/TE, CB next year....plus we have a double 6ths, and 7ths....to fill holes as we have a ton of FAs this year (again). I wonder if there is any chance of signing Star for one more year? For some reason, I don't think he gives us a discount if he decides to play again....And I don't think we can pony up like he has been accustomed to being paid. We have sizable holes at DT next season....I think ideally, we sign Star for one year and draft a DT #1 and let him play with Star and Ed next season... That also implies we activate Ed O's fifth year option (which is VERY expensive as well). I don't know what we can about Z, Harry or Vernon....Though I think they all are FAs.... maybe not Z? That'd be great if we could keep Z for another inexpensive season. Anyhoo..... Go Bills! The NFC is looking very tough, imho....We need our offense to continue to grow to compete with the NFC, imho, with the Bucs, the rams, The cards, Dallas and GB all playing pretty darn well now....That's what the season is for though.... We have thirteen weeks to hone our skills, study the enemy and prepare. That Tampa game is a great test....to see where we are then. If we win, we look super, if not, it won't lose us homefield advantage imho, and we'll learn where we have to go.... I think our OL can get way better this year both pass but especially run blocking. Three OL have been switched around and one is a brand new rookie. The potential is vast, imho. Allen And Daboll are seeing how defenses are playing us and they'll work together break how teams are currently playing us.... I still think there is a very real place for our four-wide set, maybe not what I envisioned when the season began but once Allen learns what he has to do to break that defense and once the OL really improves look out. Maybe there is even room for our 12 O. Get Sweeney involved more as well? We could go big with our two TEs, Davis and Kumerow perhaps? I guess we did that last night a little I read.... I'd like to see Josh's QBR and QB rating to rise in line with the other great QBs before the playoffs begin....

I'm not sure....but I do know the chefs are in trouble....They have a tough schedule and I don't think they're catching San Diego. Now you're talking about wild card spots and there could be a lot of teams fighting for those with KC having three huge AFC losses already. Looking at the standings they'll probably come back and get a WC spot but it is way more difficult trying to win on the road without that bye week (I think we get it, but big game this week) .

I'll take one of those....

Gotta see that dog tonight. Gotta see it for four quarters too.... With KC getting three defenders back tonight, we need a great game from Josh. I want to see that killer attitude tonight. I want to see it for four quarters. If we get it, we win, simply as that, imho.... Yeah, the OL has to block, and the D with Tremaine has to be hungry, humble and hunting..... But for some reason, I think they're both going to it. I think the receivers do their job as well. The special teams just have to not lose the game..... It's up to Josh to win it though.... Josh has to win it. No fumbles from our backs please. No drops. Hungry, humble and hunting..... Lets Go Buffalo! Go Bills! -
It could be a nightmare matchup for a very young inexperienced tackle not ready for a nfl great. Feliciano will play better.....

Scouting The Kansas City Chiefs (Week 5 2021)
billybrew1 replied to Dont Stop Billeiving's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just loved the read as it gets me even more pumped for this weekend.while everything you said seems true and logical to me I think you can sum up who will win the game with one sentence.... If Josh Allen plays at his best like we know he can, we win. Or, if Josh Allen gets an A we win. I think we win with an A- Maybe even a B+...... Anything lower and it's 3-2 and tied with the chefs..... We can really bury the chefs with a win here. That would be three AFC losses for the chefs, a sub- .500 record and a monster schedule coming up. I think a loss here buries the chefs for home-field advantage for sure, maybe even more. So, as bad as the Bills and their fans want this game, the chefs want it more. I think that is interesting. Can the Bills man-up vs. the chefs and best them at arrowhead looking Superin the process? The chefs are not going to hold back anything. Will the Bills? I don't know? I don't think so. I think we're in being our best in January mode.... Maybe not. Maybe McD sees the importance of defeating his nemesis? For himself, for Allen, for his franchise, for his fans. Go Bills! -
Bills/Texans All-22 Review - The Athletic
billybrew1 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
While what you say about matchups is true, I also think McD/Frazier are tricky coordinators. They tell their players to do different things each week. Bringing along the defense, and our players along slowly and not burning out our team by week nine. We want to be our best in January and these are ways we are doing exactly that. Plus there is extra incentive this year using four or more very young players in key roles (Groot, Boogie, terminator and Spencer Brown.) We don't want these kids to hit a wall of any kind. In fact, we want the opposite. We want them playing their best ball in January..... With our ridiculously easy schedule hopefully we can pull out Spencer Brown a lot throughout the season. Don't forget, he played a lot in preseason as well. We have to closely monitor his mental and physical condition. He just became a highly valuable player... It looks like: Dawson - Feliciano- Morse - Williams - Brown could be the Super Bowl ticket. We can't have Brown hit the wall. Im very interested to see our defense vs. the great Mahomes. You know he's going to score a few TDs at least but can we make him look worse than Josh? If Josh plays well I think we can. I can see theBills coming out extremely fired up for this game. Josh looking super human. Our receivers tearing it up. Maybe Davis' return to the O? ( I think this depends on how comfortable Josh is) the OL playing well. The D fired up, kicking ass and taking names. It is certainly a very real possibility. Go Bills! -
My top 5 keys to winning on SNF
billybrew1 replied to Allen2Moulds's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Daryl Williams And Spencer Brown will have their hands full with the great and powerful Chris Jones but I think we can afford those players help when need be this year.... Either those two working together wiping Jonesout or some TE and RB help depending on where Jones lines up. The number one thing, more important than anything else of course is will Josh Allen give us his A game or not. And if not, will he at least play well enough for us to win. Maybe Josh's B plus game? I think our defense is ready to dethrone the chefs and we will make it harder than everyone thinks on Mahomes..... I can conceive a game Sunday night where a lot of Bills fans become convinced Allen is on Mahomes level. It sez here that If Allen gives us his A game we win for certain and Allen looks better than Mahomes. -
Tremaine Edmunds named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Bills number 1 in espn power rankings...wait what?
billybrew1 replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's right. We are definitely going to win our division and make the playoffs. The object of this season is getting to go into the playoffs at our absolute peak best. Yes, that bye week is truly massive, but if we can hit the playoffs with our OL fixed, our offensive weapons healthy, Allen hot and consistent and the defense playing as it has so far this year, there is simply no one that can beat us. I don't even think there is anyone that can give us a game if we hit our peak in the playoffs. ,I really mean that. Josh can do anything when he's hot and that includes scoring TDs by the bunches in a myriad of ways. Our Special Team Units are very good and will improve as we go. (Yes, I know they have given us some fits this year but I'm looking at McD to date and figure we'll get it down. Plus we have done a lot of good on Special Teams already too.) The Defense is the best defense McD has fielded so far this year by far since he has arrived. Name the stat, we're doing way better in it than ever. And it looks like it is getting better with Edmunds having a solid year so far. Ed too. Plus our deadly rotation DL. I've been watching a lot of football lately and I don't think anybody rotates the DL as much as we do and I think that is fantastic in many different ways. Now and in the future. If Daryl Williams can play guard, And Brown can amaze at RT and we get Feliciano back we have the makings of a solid O-line. A lot of ifs I know, but we are doing it, so it makes me think we can. If it works out, what a great freakin' draft we had this year!!! Really, it could beat 2019 by the end of this year! Think about that! That's amazing! This week my main worry is if Allen can play well but I also worry about the whole team as KC has owned us since McD came aboard. It is definitely partly psychological. But KC is also an excellent team that we haven't matched up with well at all. Right now, I think we're the better team IF Allen plays to his potential. I think we could beat KC by more than eight if Allen plays his best game and the team plays hungry, humble and mean and smart. Go Bills! -
I think Allen has the greatest potential of the three. I think he is practically unstoppable when he is. On. The trouble is I don't know if he has been "on" this year? Close to it vs. Washington I guess. He played well vs. Houston by all accounts.... I think to beat KC this week he has to play better than he has this year.... In his defense, our ability to protect him has not been as good as last season although he killed it in games last season with poor(er) protection. C'mon Josh! Just kick ass this week! Go Bills!

Josh Allen good under pressure, bad when not pressured

I would say that, Josh has to play better than year to date to beat the chefs, is a true statement. He has to lift his game closer to last season's play.... -
What is Wrong with Steve Belichick?

LOL, he broke a lot of TVs last night.... Why'd they keep showing him? And with such a close up?!!! LOL, I couldn't take it..... -
I don't know how much our Bills value this game. The objective is to peak in January not October. Yet this is clearly a very important game. For home field advantage. In the race for the bye week. In our attempt to break the curse KC has on us..... lotsa good reasons. McD will not allow us to make this game our Super Bowl Though.... I couldn't watch the game today, how'd Allen look? I wonder if Allen plays well next week we could still lose? I think we lost one game last year when our WRs were healthy and Allen played well. That was against Arizona.... We are very difficult to beat when Allen plays well....

If you're asking if the cards are currently a Super Bowl contender, the answer is yes. But they were before the season started. They're a very good team, no doubt. -
He also knows something about next season. That's when we get really good.

Not to sound cocky but I almost hope TJ can't go Sunday. Get him right for next Sunday plus we can give Siran Neal some valuable starter time to build depth. I like our depth in the secondary and this is a good chance to see it. We just lack depth at outside CB beyond Dane Jackson. I think we're good inside as long as we're not playing the chefs or a reasonable facsimile. Then we need all the starters. Neal is an interesting player though. Considered the best athlete on the team and he has good size. TJ is better though but let's rest him if he needs it. JJ Jaquan Johnson shines I bet though....He's smart and plays fast for a slow 40 guy. He is going to know the play, watch. He is going to cut under a guy for an INT. just like the interceptions we have seen the Bills make so far..... I wonder if Jaquan plays the strong side? Because he is pretty small too. Maybe Klein plays some instead of JJ if Houston shows a strong run look? Anyhoo.... Go Bills!
-
I'm excited to see JJ Jaquan Johnson play at Safety. I think he gets his hands on the ball, I think he's smart and will play fast even though he is slow.
