He had 80 catches and 900 yards receiving in Seattle 2 years ago. Really only one bad year, last year, with Baltimore where he was a late arrival and was probably the 4th or 5th option in their offense (Boldin, Mason, Rice, Heap, Housh?). Roster size remains the same under the new CBA. I still think they keep 6, Johnson, Parrish, Nelson, Jones, Easley, Roosevelt & Smith as a 3rd QB. Wasn't that against the Browns? Blake Costanzo, former Bill, recovered it.

No, I see no reason to waste a roster spot on him. Thigpen and Smith are the #2 & #3 QBs. If he were to go undrafted I would sign him to my practice squad. Adams did not declare for the supplimental draft from what I heard.

Their LBs are a joke. Casey Matthews, 4th round LB, is starting in the middle & their 7th round picks the past two years on the outside.

I agree, or that perhaps all the facts in the story aren't true. Who knows what the substance was, seems like if it were steroids of the controlled substance variety he would have been arrested. Seeing as how he seemingly works with many supplement companies it could have very well been one of those and a misunderstanding. The report is very vague it leads to alot of assumptions.

What are they going to suspend him for? Being accused of something by a blogger? 30 days has gone by and nothing has been made of it to date I find it hard to believe that anything will.
