    I think all that's really been said is "awhile." They need McGee back, especially without Williams. He's better than Corner, if he weren't he wouldn't have made the roster ahead of him, and this is turning into a win now season so age or upside have no bearing on the decision.

    Pretty much anytime a player's contract is up at the end of a season. We heard it from Florence, we heard it from Merriman, we even heard it from Whitner.

    Not good leaving ECC and heading down Southwestern towards Milestrip, probably taking an extra 20 minutes to get home than usual. However this could be attributed to two sellout crowds with everyone in their seats until the very end of the game.

    The guy did touch Fitz after the play was blown dead, but Fitz also greatly embellished falling to the ground.

    Why do you feel it was a wasted timeout? The clock was restarting due to the no TD for Fred, they needed to salvage as much time as possible, let the Bills score on the first play (which Buffalo wisely countered with a kneeldown) and get the ball back with over a minute left and one timeout. Or is this not the TO you were refering to?

    Just watched the play, he got on Levitre's back and pushing the back of his helmet and face into the ground. Wilfork was no where near Fitz on the play.

    I wouldn't be so sure that 10-6 guarantees a playoff spot.

    It's strange that a newspaper would call out a segment of their readers with such venom. The only response would be don't go to their website or buy their papers. Do they cover the Pats alot in Albany? Or is it mainly Giants/Jets?

    I don't disagree, my response was to a post that claimed that the Raiders lined up with the intent to double cover Spiller. Perhaps who the player was caused the confusion, but even Hue Jackson said in his post game press conference that it was a blown coverage, meaning one of the guys who went with Spiller was supposed to cover Nelson.

    I think the question is more, if Poz were on the team now with Barnett here would he be getting more than 3 snaps? Then again he's probably making way more than Morrison if he is still on the team also.

    Two guys covered him in error, it was a blown coverage.

    In a 4th and 1 that swing pass, which he picked up big yardage on earlier in the game, probably made him the primary target.

    I suppose they could, the franchise tag for this year is $11.5M, seems as though they'd be better off just giving him the $8M.

    He was suspended for the first two games due to the starcaps saga a few years back. This prevented teams from being interested, a team will likely sign him now.
