    He was an NFL LB coach for 11 years, defensive coordinator for the Redskins in 2003, and was hired by Florida to be their D coordinator before deciding to take the job with the Bills instead.

    I think it's that our WRs and QBs aren't suited to go downfield, defenses know this.

    I think their short passing game has been figured out, and they don't have the guys at QB or WR to stretch the defense and combat the way they're being played.

    On the play 4 receivers went short, Fitz opted to throw to the one deep route. My contention is that it had nothing to do with coaching, but an in game decision by a player. Stevie was open, what does it have to do with the play call? The QB made a bad throw/decision.

    Agreed, I guess what I'm saying is that the play call that people are looking for was called, the QB made the decision.

    On the wide shot replay they had 4 receivers short with none open and Jones 1 on 1 going to the end zone, who i'm sure wasn't the first option.

    It was 4th and 8 from the 34 yard line. Too long to go for it, and you would have punted from the 34? He's an NFL kicker, you signed him because you can count on him to do his job, otherwise don't sign him. They lost by 37 points and you're main concern is a missed field goal?

    If you make that trade you are hoping the 1st can net you a player who can be as good as Williams, and as we know the draft can be a crapshoot. In Williams you have a relatively young player signed to a multi year deal.

    They handed out pink pom poms at one of the games in October, they seemingly did ok.
