  1. Jasper doesn't play D-line
  2. He played with lingering back issues all year, probably should have shut him down longer to avoid reoccurance of the injury.
  3. I expect them to find a way to keep Stevie Johnson on the team, even if it requires them using the franchise tag on him for one year. I'd like them to sign a FA wideout, Robert Meachem is an FA at the end of the year. He's relatively young, has deep speed, a bigger frame, is from the SEC & seems like the type of guy the Bills would go after (not a top available at his position but someone who is signed on day 3 or 4 of free agency). Making 4 of your wideouts Johnson-Meachem-Nelson-Smith and a competition between the remaining few for the last two spots. I expect them to resign Pears, I expect Bell to walk as the asking price wont match his output. I wouldn't be surprised, and woudln't hate it, if their 1st round pick is an LT. Seems like there are 3 or 4 OTs that are top 20 picks for this year. This would put that player at LT & allow Hairston & Pears to battle for the RT spot, the loser providing depth at both LT & RT. I expect no moves to be made on the defensive line & the lineup to be pretty much the same coming into next year. I expect Merriman to make an attempt at a comeback, but for them to also use a high pick (first 3 rounds) on a pass rushing OLB. Woudn't be surprised to see a QB taken in the top 3 rounds this year, seems as though there are quite a few of them coming out.
  4. Team record and cost of living need to be factored into this as well.
  5. What if they're winning?
  6. I think he means from a standpoint of ticket sales, not many people want to pay to see the teams from that division nor do their fanbases travel well. But if those teams present a weak schedule a winning season could change that.
  7. Even if you disagree with their rankings, I found this site last year and really liked the way it is organized and free unlike ESPN. Also, they have updated the players rankings throughout the season and will have new info on the player pages when the season is done. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/TSX/2012 Alabama OLB Courtney Upshaw seems to be the #1 34 pass rusher, if you're looking WR Alshon Jeffry or Michael Floyd seem to be the guys who would be available when the Bills will likely be picking, depending on your outlook of course.
  8. With high def tvs, red zone channel and the comfort of your own home there are too many reasons to not go to the game.
  9. I wouldn't want him in the lineup over Hairston or Pears.
  10. He's playing out of position at Nose Tackle in a 3-4, what type of impact do you expect from a guy at that position? He's not going to fill the stat sheet.
  11. He missed a large portion of the season with knee troubles, gets healthy, and they cut him? Something is up with the guy, he's had personal, attitude and injury issues in the past. Probably best to stay away from him.
  12. I doubt thats the same mentality the team has, and therefore not why they haven't been competitive for over a decade.
  13. He'll be a free agent before they have a chance to trade him.
  14. He was sick
  15. Do I want to sign a guy for that if he needs incentives to pay more attention to football or not be distracted by social media?
  16. I don't understand why people care if he uses twitter, it's not like Donte where he's inciting arguments with fans or anything like that.
  17. 3. Worst case if Leodis' injury is that bad he'd be put on IR. I think he comes back next year, even if all he can do is be the 4th CB, he's shown an ability to be a performer on specs and would be better at DB than someone like Reggie Corner. 6. Easley is on IR and is still Bills property, has it been released what his illness was? 7. Kelsay sadly has been the teams best pass rusher and was missed when Moats and Batten had to fill in for him due to injury. This is probably Stevie Johnson's last year as a Bill, he wants money that they're rumored to not want to offer. And why give big bucks to a guy who crumbles under pressure?
  18. I thought he looked pretty good on specs today, before trading him I'd make him a 4th CB and let him contribute there.
  19. He started the first 9 games or so.
  20. You're right, they should probably shut the board down...or you should just stop reading it.
  21. Holy moly that was a weak call.
  22. He's an NFL kicker, got to trust him, otherwise he shouldn't be on the team.
  23. Could be pirates of the Carribean.
  24. For some reason fans like to hitch their wagons to good stories rather than good players.
  25. The 2 picks that handed them touchdowns were killers. And they'll lose stats because they didn't have the ball due to the 2 turnovers.
