  1. Perhaps, CBS has him as an OLB: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/TSX/2012_OLB But if they're considering Ingram a DE than that is probably the explanation for Upshaw as well.
  2. Melvin Ingram also notably missing
  3. mortreport Chris Mortensen Sure is interesting on how many players Tom Donahoe drafted or signed in Buffalo that are still playing at high level in NFL #JabariGreer It is interesting, too bad he couldn't pick a coach.

  5. I think his lack of height hurts him if he is expected to play 43 DE, I actually think he fits best as a 34 OLB. He makes alot of plays downfield and seemingly is able to play in coverage.

  7. Those arent necessarily the facts, they're what his agent has said publicly. Also, the $7.5M could be what he is looking for as a base salary per year. This doesn't necessarily include signing bonuses, incentives etc. So he could be looking for a contract that pays him $7.5M per year but in total something like 6 years $60M.
  8. Can anyone confirm this?
  9. As many have said SJ is not under contract, so he won't be traded. You're probably looking at having to give them your 1st & 2nd this year along with your 1st next year to pull off that move, and that may not be enough.
  10. Harbaugh didn't take over a rebuilding team, he took over a rebuilt team. The 49ers were building a team and developing talent while Singletary or even Mike Nolan were there. Using your 49ers example the 2010 Bills are probably alot like the 49ers of 2005 or 2006.
  11. I agree, that makes alot of sense. It may be the case that Nix will have handed the responsibilities over to Whaley by this point and have the GM title in name only while staying on through the draft as an advisor of some sort.
  12. This isn't the first we've heard of changes to the front office being around the corner. LaCanfora mentioned it a few weeks ago. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/140159-front-office-shakeup/page__p__2341888__hl__lacanfora__fromsearch__1#entry2341888
  13. Modrak and the rest of the scouting department. Many of the players that were here for Jauron's Tampa 2 defense.
  14. Hard to consider a guy with only 5.5 collegiate sacks as someone who can be counted on as an NFL pass rusher. But if a move to the 43 happens, OLBs in a 43 aren't typically counted on to supply the pass rush so I'm not sure that would matter. I can't see them making the switch to the 43 without planning on bringing in one if not two DEs as Dwan Edwards and Chris Kelsay will not be sufficient in that type of defense. Therefore, I can't see them making the switch at all.
  15. He wouldn't have been there at pick #8 either.
  16. Aside from this being another trolling post by crayonz, the Bills need 2 OLBs especially if they're moving to the 43. They may need 4 if they do indeed make the switch.
  17. Especially since there were multiple threads regarding Harris and how the Bills should sign him this past offseason.
  18. I agree that Stevie is worth $7.5M per season. I don't think TOs stats are any type of evidence of this.
  19. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/139866-is-ralph-or-other-people-in-the-bills-fo-racist/page__p__2336077__hl__controversial__fromsearch__1#entry2336077 Prior to the current front office they've given extensions to Lee Evans and handed out contracts to players such as Derrick Dockery, Langston Walker & Takeo Spikes.
  20. Wouldn't the OLB be replacing Spencer Johnson and be the the one setting the edge?
  21. Does Directv play Sabres games in HD in the Syracuse area? Does it have On Demand?
  22. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=nfp-20111223_usc_de_nick_perry_declares_for_the_draft_where_does_he_stand What about Melvin Ingram? Seems to be universally ranked ahead of Upshaw or Perry. His only downfall seems to be that he is only a one year starter, however contributed 9 sacks last season despite not starting. Also is an SEC player which Buddy and Co. seem to prefer. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1620606/melvin-ingram
  23. Rayner missed most of last weeks practices due to an injury. You can't cut someone if they are injured.
  24. 3 seasons - 2 season ending injuries. Played 14 games in 2010.
  25. Wood is signed through 2013. My guess is they let Bell walk.
