That was his Junior year due to Marvin Austin's suspension. Coples came into the senior bowl at 281 lbs, lighter than he was listed at during the season at NC. This is an attempt to show that he has the proper size to be able to play as an edge defender at DE, despite many saying his best suited position may be inside at DT.
He was also a low level recruit coming out of high school and barely touched the field prior to his senior year at not a top college program. Granted he had a monster year, but in my opinion there isn't enough of a track record for him to be a top 10 pick.
The system is so weird, but I would guess the Bills defense would be that they 100% knew that he was going to play and therefore did not need to list him as injured.
I think the disconnect is that 3M isn't really that much anymore. Also, go ahead and pay league min for a kicker, but don't complain when they miss FGs like Raynor or that other scrub.

Negative, if the change in defensive philosophy brings on a call for patience then they shouldn't be making the change (or have made the change in the first place). This is year 3, their stuff should be in order by now, patience is out the window.
Will that Olean Times article be updated now? Could there have been a more stupid article written purposely early to make something up to complain about? I mean the Colts staff only has 3 coaches, should they be mocked for their cheapness? http://www.oleantimesherald.com/sports/article_d7739494-4c0c-11e1-98cb-0019bb2963f4.html

I agree with you, but I don't think that was his point. The point was that the jersey's are illegal regardless of your view on things and that linking to sites like that from this site could put TBD at risk. Not sure on the truth of that, but that's the point.
I'm assuming you meant Moats and Batten. In what way would it be a good thing for them? Seems to me that they're position-less in a 43, don't have the necessary skill sets for either DE or OLB. Defiantly not on an every down basis. Perhaps Moats could stick as a pass rush specialist.
Would make sense, but they don't have the cash. They're over the cap to start, and they have a couple key guys that need to be resigned. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/37447/previewing-afc-east-salary-cap
