  1. The Raiders play a 43 and I believe he played OLB for them last year.
  2. Offensive system.
  3. I don't really have an opinion on David's abilities. However, I don't see him as a guy that the current Bills regime would have interest in due to his size. They've made specific comments and roster moves that point to them attempting to make the roster much bigger. In David you have a player who is sized similar to D'Norris Searcy, who they drafted to play SS. That said a guy like Travis Lewis, who was a 4 year starter and captain for Oklahoma, intrigues me as an OLB prospect and has 15lbs on David.
  4. Matt Light is a 4x Pro Bowler, David Diehl went to the Pro Bowl in 2010. Patriots starting RT Nate Solder was a 1st round pick last season.
  5. Luck ran a 4.59, didn't see that coming.
  6. I doubt any of them get cut until an ample replacement is signed or drafted to replace them. With players currently on the roster your starting front 4 is likely Edwards-Dareus-KWilliams-Kelsay. Hopefully that will change with additions but I doubt anyone is dumped until that time.
  7. Yes.The lowest tendered salary has the players original round as the compensation, which for Maybin would be a 1st. Unless there is a lower tender than original round, which would probably mean no compensation.
  8. As a former first round pick isn't that the only tender they could give to Maybin?
  9. They haven't officially came out and said that. I've seen speculated reports, or reports from "sources," but the Bills haven't said that. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Transcript-General-Manager-Buddy-Nix/037507a7-365d-401e-9d19-477e152d0082
  10. As an RFA it might be the only outside offer he would get, and with that high of a pick it may make sense for the Steelers not to match. Not that I want it to happen.
  11. He could probably play 43 OLB, but has too many personal issues on the field and in the locker room to warrant picking him that high.
  12. Sounds like same money. Joe Buscaglia @JoeB_WGR According to a source, new deal gives the Bills security if 24 isn't healthy, but allows him to make the original money if healthy & playing
  13. I thought they did: http://www.cbssports.com/print/nfl/story/17263545/retired-nfl-players-still-fighting-for-better-benefits-hearing-wed/rss
  14. I agree with Drew. The pension payouts that the retired players are getting are based on when they began taking their benefits, likely immediately after they retired in their mid 30s. I'm certain they knew the details of the plan when they made this decision.
  15. Wouldn't every single one of those things involve more money in the contract? Regardless, the point is if the Bills arent giving him exactly what he wants he'll wait till free agency and see if someone else will. He holds all the cards.
  16. They're attempting to resign him, which shows they don't "want to get rid" of Stevie. Obviously Stevie is very interested in money if the negotiations are reportedly going poorly. Why wouldn't he wait until free agency? Nice one.
  17. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/article734034.ece?twobillsdrive
  18. Reiff is Mayock's #1 ranked OT.
  19. Sounded like Stevie wasn't open to it prior to, and during, the season.
  20. I think reiff is pretty unanimously ranked in the top ten, Martin not much behind. I don't think either would be considered a reach at ten.
  21. As I understand it, could be wrong, the Bills use a cash to the cap system. Which I don't believe the linked website is using to determine the Bills cap numbers. I believe in that system any money paid out to the player will be applied to their cap. Merrimans contract according to rotoworld: http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3171/player?r=1 So $3M of his 2nd year base salary is guaranteed, so they're going to be paying him $3M this year regardless. Which in their system would be applied to their cap, so whether he is on the team or not that $3M is going to be hitting their cap. As I said, this is how I think they work things, I could be wrong.
  22. Hagan's a free agent, he's not even currently on the roster.
  23. Best bet is they get a leftover in the 7th round.
  24. How can you be so sure?
