  1. Because if he's not on the team he receives no money. It would be about finding a balance between what he is set to get now and what he could get on the open market.
  2. I assume they'll draft a late round DT to compete with Troupe, Ross or anyone else for the for the 4th DT spot.
  3. Porter had 17.5 sacks in 2008-09 with the Dolphins.
  4. Did they end up signing Roosevelt? I only recall him working out for them but no contract.
  5. PED suspension and multiple run ins with coaches "Speaking of stars available in free agency, one scout told me the other day: "I am scared to death of [Kansas City wideout] Dwayne Bowe. Like him a lot, but not sure what we'd be buying if we signed him. Too much baggage." 6. Grubbs signed 5 years $36M last year, I can't see Levitre signing for less.
  7. He only plays one position adequately
  8. That assumes they don't use the resources saved from Levitre on a player of a different position, perhaps one that has more of an impact.
  9. It's not wasted if they had no intention of using it on anyone else.
  10. My thought as well, they were supposedly going to talk with Levitre's agent at the combine, perhaps those talks weren't fruitful enough to warrant a contract offer.
  11. That sounds so awful
  12. I think if Levitre were to walk the most likely result would be Rhinehart at LG and Urbik at RG from what I've seen and read he'll most likely be moving to guard in the NFL
  13. Merriman and Moore are both free agents
  14. Did he have a spinal condition?
  15. 1st round picks, but not 1st picks.
  16. He's a restricted free agent though, common ground wasn't needed, just the lowest tender.
  17. Grubbs signed 5 years $36M, $7.2 per
  18. My guess would be games played
  19. Maybin was the last DE they drafted. In Buddy's first draft they selected Troup and Carrington, both DTs.
  20. It's called negotiation. He'll lose some leverage when they can't come to an agreement and he gets franchised. He'll then likely sit out OTA's and a piece of camp taking back some leverage. Then they'll likely sign a contract simliar to what Eli signed a couple years ago. Something like 6 years $100M.
  21. I think they should take a run at that Jay Clocker kid
  22. Maybe he means Okafor?
  23. i took that as being the point of the post
