  1. http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/10/907245-rumor-via-twitter-matt-forte-patriots-talk.html I agree, but the rumor is gaining traction. Tim-
  2. Is it true? I heard BB offered a 2nd and a 4th for his rights? Bears wanted three picks.. Crap, I hope the Patriots don't land Forte. That would really suck. Tim-
  3. To those that are saying no one would make that trade for Fred, I say BS. Belichick even said that Freddie is one of the best RB's in the NFL, and I could see BB making a reach for Freddie if the opportunity arose, so to say no one would want Fred Jackson is, frankly, insane. Now that said, I would trade Fred Jackson for anyone. I know I once played with the idea myself, but with our offseason transactions being what they were, I am looking forward to watching this team play offense without the fear of giving up points everytime our defense gets on the field. Going to be a different season this year, one we Bills fans have been waiting for. Freddie of all people deserves to be a aprt of that. Tim-
  4. Bills fans are going to be just fine with our secondary this year. With the improvments to the front 7 we will see a marked difference in coverage schemes and a good measure of success from previous seasons. I'm comfortable going into the season with what we have. A LT, and some LB depth and I think we're in good shape overall. Yes, that means in good shape with WR as well, despite what some are suggesting. That said, if Blackmon falls to us we grab him, BUT NOT Floyd. Tim-
  5. Well, whoever our first, second, third etc pick is, they will be ahppy to come to Buffalo. When was the last time you could say that with a straight face? Tim-
  6. Agreed, Hagen was a good pick up last year. Really like to see him battle it out in camp. I talked with a friend of mine the other day about the chances we trade up for Kalil with the Vikings? I know a long shot since they really need a left tackle, but our first, second, and two 4ths for Kalil might be tempting to the Vikes.. Tim-
  7. My guess is this. Week 17 we jumped out to a 21 - 0 lead over NE, and the PTB said, oh crap, we really don't need to beat these guys, we're just screwing ourselves out a better draft pick. Best we sit Stevie down for the second half (Be a good lesson for him anyway) and play soft the rest of the game.. No need to kick they're asses for no damn good reaosn. Tim-
  8. I think a guy like Fletcher is exactly what this team needs. Did you see his game when we crushed them last year? He played the whole game.. No quit in this guy! That's worth money to me if I'm building a team.... Tim-
  9. So what's he worth? Tim-
  10. Why not sign London Fletcher back? Prolly get him for league veteran, (Perhaps a bit more) but I think it makes a lot of sense. He's a veteran tough guy, GREAT locker room presence (Captain type), and boy what he could teach our new guys at LB.. I think this would be a solid move for the Bills. Thoughts? Tim-
  11. Not with the RT they have now.. LOL Tim-
  12. Yay!! Now if Mario doesn't get 23 sacks next year this will be the worst deal in NFL history.. LOL Bills are serious about winning, finally a culture change, take that, Bob Matthews. Tim-
  13. Whenever you have two people to convince them to make the sale, you ALWAYS go for the one that is up in the air. THAT means the woman. If the Bills can sell her, they win, if not, it doesn't matter what Mario wants. mario wants his woman to be happy, and that is all that matters.. This one could go either way, IMO. Plan B is Freeny, IMO. tim-
  14. This seems to be Plan - B http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/2012-NFL-free-agency-tuesday-roster-moves-signings-031412 Tim-
  15. So if Mario doesn't sign, what's plan -B ?? Tim-
  16. I agree, and I think that this pick would then be Hightower from Alabma.. Tim-
  17. I'm losing my mind.... AARARGGHHH Tim-
  18. I love hearing John the Optimist and Matthews sparring on the radio.. Funny stuff. I like Smeralas's politics but his knowledge of the modern game is limited, much like Bob. Bob is a pessemist on the Bills, and maybe for good reason, but last year at the start of the season when they were doing well, his attitudes changed and he was on the bandwagon for a while, unitl, of couse when he saw an opportunity to jump back off when they stared losing again.. I think Bob would love nothing more than to see the Bills win, but he has been so demoralized over the last 12 years that it's tough to say anything possitive about the franshise. Tim-
  19. Keeping Hagan, Bell is a must. Searcy looks to replace Scott, so no worries there, Keep Parrish if he restructures his deal whereby we actually pay for play.. Bring on FA.. Baby! Tim-
  20. I guess one has to ask themselves how much a sack is worth, or a QB pressure? At the right time it could be worth lot's, but for your average run-of-the-day sack, $1 million per sack seems a bit excessive.. Just sayin.. Tim-
  21. And Hightower is the badest sumbitch of them all, IMO. Upshaw, Hightower, Mercillus, Coples (Bit risky but with large upside potential), and Curry. At number 10, boy what a decision, one two, or three of these guys are going to be fantastic in this league under the right coaching. Can it be Buffalo? Who knows? Tim-
  22. /likes this post. Tim-
