  1. Well considering that Nassib or any Qb will be competing with the other teams defense, the point you're making is kind of silly.
  2. No! Even if they are confident, waiting is the best strategy, IMO.
  3. Yep, and if Nix doesn't wait until the last second, I'd be pissed. The teams need to sweat it out while waiting on Nix.
  4. Thank you! It to me is the most logical pick for the Bills at 8.
  5. Listening to that I could see a power struggle for Nassib over Jones. Perhaps they've decided to pick BPA @8 and who's left at 41 is their guy. My guess is Jones will most certainly be there, but Nassib not so much.
  6. Fair enough, thanks for taking the time to post your mock, although I might disagree on some of it, the effort is appreciated.
  7. I don't like either of those guys and to me they're overrated. For Mingo and Jones I see under weight DE's, Maybin hybrids, and I want no part of that. We have no Von Miller in this draft that's for sure, and as far as Lotulelei, I don't think we need a short armed DT at this point. For me, part of the discussions with Kolb were probably centered around how we plan to protect him, and or give him weapons on offense. I see us picking a weapon on offense, and to me the most impactful zero risk offensive player in this draft class is Eifert, and he also happens to be a position of need.
  8. Bandit, if you hate the trade down and want the Bills to select at 8, whom do you suggest they grab? I'm with you by the way and I think it'll be Eifert, or one of the guards. What say you?
  9. Eifert @ 8, you can take it to the bank!
  10. Tyler Eiffert - TE Just a hunch!
  11. I said to my wife that the draft is on Thursday night so don't make any plans for me. She said, "And just who do you think you're going out drinking with"..
  12. I didn't hear it from anyone, I am bored on a Sunday and was thinking out loud.
  13. Ya know on second thought I didn't know that the Vikings cap situation was as bad as it is. They only have 6 million left and they need to sign rookies, so yeah bad idea. Ok scratch the Mario thought process.
  14. Bare with me folks, but I was thinking on this Sunday that a trade for Byrd might occur on draft day. A lot of people are saying that we could trade our 8th pick for SF's 31st, 34th, and 61 so that SF can select Vaccaro if available. Some are saying that Jarius doesn't want to be a Bill, and his franchise tag would go up next year, so I ask. San Fran is looking for the sure thing piece that gets them the Super Bowl, wouldn't it make more sense to, instead of drafting Vaccaro at 8, to trade for a sure thing in Byrd? My questions are, is Byrd worth more than those picks from San Fran? Can the Bills afford to trade him if they think they have a real shot at the playoffs THIS YEAR? On another note, and again I'm just thinking out loud here, what about a trade to the Vikings for Mario, who are indeed looking for a stud DE to compliment Allen. My thoughts are, if the Bills are thinking to the future wouldn't it make sense to trade away this year, our top two defensive talents in an attempt to get MUCH better next year? Would the Vikings covet Mario, what would they pay for him? I understand a lot of you are pulling your hair out right now with me even suggesting this, but I think if you're planning for the future and you really have no shot at the playoffs this year, which is arguable, then why not unload Mario and Jarius if the reward means picking up three first round picks, and a slew of second and thirds?
  15. I would be happy with this. I spent the better part of the day watching interviews of Nassib to get a feel for his personality, and I like it. He's got moxy, the good kind that translates well to the ups and downs of the NFL. He strikes me as super competitive, and if the Bills selected him, even at 8 I would be ok with it.
  16. I have no idea, and for the first time in a while I am completely stumped as to what the Bills do at 8.
  17. IMO, someone grabs him in the 2nd, probably TB, or Jets!
  18. That's funny because it's so true.
  19. Out of all the CB's in this draft this kids reminds me of Winfield more than anyone.
  20. How do we play?
  21. Except that Lattimore has to broken knees.
  22. I agree! I am more and more coming to the conclusion that all signals are pointing to either a trade back (if Millner is there) or Warmack at 8. It makes sense from a new coach standpoint. Other than Stevie, if you’re Hackett, and you see that you have three pretty darn good backs, and an offensive line that is mostly in-tact and needing really just one piece, you go Warmack, and run-first. It accomplishes several things. One, it takes the pressure off Kolb or TJax, and places it on the Oline, two, it realizes that adding a guy like Patterson won’t turn you into a pass-first offense anyway, so why add that piece at 8 and increase the risk factor. To me there is less risk with Warmack as the pick (if we do indeed make a selection at 8) than there is with Patterson. I LOVE Patterson and I think he’s going to be great in the right system, and with the right QB, but I’m not sure that the Bills are that team. We could ruin him as a player lie we’ve done with other players, that, to me would have had better careers if playing somewhere else. The safe pick at 8 is Warmack, and gives you the best, least risky offensive scheme whilst the other guys are learning the ropes. Just my opinion of course, but selecting Warmack just makes too much sense. BTQ, good work to the OP. Tim-
  23. Somewhere T Suggs is saying.. "See I told ya so"..
  24. Count me in on that sappy parade. Boy they don't make players like that anymore, eh?
