  1. Sounds like Harvin and how the Vikes used him the first two years...
  2. Boloney! He's got great hands, and versatile. That highlight reel at the 2:50 mark and that stop and go, he literally stopped, and then ran 25 yards to catch the ball in the end zone. You DO NOT see that everyday
  3. I'm not getting the Alonso pick when Warford was there, but I do like the Goodwin pick. Kid is Austin good if coached up.
  4. It's all ego, man! Mayock, Kiper, Mcshay who cares what they say. To me they've always ever been phil. Like a guy with no arms and no legs in a hole. Phil! LOL
  5. Ok a little over the top with the Bills Pick, but overall well done.
  6. Richardson makes sense if they are moving to a 4/3, but 3/4?? Not sure about that one. I guess rexy likes to move between 3/4, 4/3, and 4/6 anyway so I suppose it doesn't matter too much, but 13th pick for a situational pass rusher doesn't make sense? Tim-
  7. Shhh I LOVE this kids upside. Gawd I sound like Mayock.. Anyway, to me he might not be there in the 7th, so I could live with a 6th on him for sure! What's to teach, just tell him that the guy with the ball needs to go down. Agree but I was thinking of safe picks. Woods I like, but depth at WR is good this year, Ertz in the 2nd I would not hate, nor a WR but we DO need a OG/C and currently a role playing 4/3 DE is a MUST have, IMO.
  8. I can live with this, but I DO think we need one of these early 2nds to be an interior lineman for depth.
  9. For me it's not sexy but here goes. 41 - Larry Warford, OG, Kentucky 46 - Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M 78 – Tyran Mathieu The rest is a crap shoot. If Moore is there at 46 that would be awesome! Tim-
  10. Yeah but the potential damage has already been done for him. I'll bet that he isn't the next QB to go, and his antics about going home might have a lot to do with it. HC's have enough things to worry about, and babysitting a 21 year old QB isn't on top of their things to do list.
  11. I think they need a playmaker at WR first and foremost. A DB, RB and a TE, and you may as well throw in a LB into that mix.
  12. Hey I'm ok with Bellicheat outsmarting himself in what seems to be every year lately. For all his greatness he really doesn't draft well lately. Patterson was EXACTLY the piece NE needed on special team, in the backfield, and at WR. I'm glad he went somewhere else to be honest.
  13. I've been that guy growing up playing hockey in Canada. Always one of the last few guys picked. I took it as a badge of honor, but that's just me. Geno isn't a top QB and all his handlers and talking heads propped him up, and the young kid didn't know any better. If I were him I would have went as well. There was no reason in his mind that he would not be the first picked or not picked at all. As to those that say it doesn't mean anything that he was hanging his head? I beg to differ. We have kids running into gunfire at age 18, seeing things that make movies look mild in comparison, and they (most of them) handle it with about as much as one can expect. To me that is the real adversity. Not being picked first in a sport that pays millions and acting all pouty DOES suggest to me that the individual does have character concerns.
  14. "Really this crap is on for three more hours"This from a woman that watches shows like Hoarders and that nitwit shemale beauty queen show..
  15. The question is in the title. Word is the Patriots want more than a third rounder. Even if we made a trade would it be worth it? I see we could gain a lot from that kind of trade, but what do you folks think? Would Bill send us his backup QB for the right price?
  16. Personally, I think the action really heats up at Cleveland's pick at 6.
  17. Wife and Kids will be none existent, and my 70in LED screen will be filled with my hopes and dreams.
  18. I like the trade scenario, but instead of Barkley I go Eifert at 16 (if he's still there but doubtful) or Patterson as Austin will not be there, IMO. At 22 we grab Nassib or their top QB on the board. In the third we grab the honey badger, after that who the hell knows. LOL
  19. I along with Kelly the Dog have been high on Eifert prior to the OP, and I agree he is the safest no bust pick in the entire draft on offense. He's a cross between Jimmy graham and the Gronk, IMO. Great hands, battles for every ball, and is fast as lightning with WR speed. if we don't take him at 8 I'd be surprised, quite frankly.
  20. I went with Nassib because of the Bills coaching situation. if it were Gailey still coaching I'd more prefer EJ Manuel.
  21. Maybe, but NT/DT is NOT our biggest need, or a need at all, IMO.
  22. Russells problem wasn't that he didn't possess super QB physical skills, it was that he wasn't equipped for the thinking part of the game. Maybe with working with Garcia, he can change, and I think someone will give him a shot, and I'd pull for the kid, but it's a big if.
  23. Polian likes Jones as well, if what he was saying on ESPN last night has any weight?
  24. Yeah, ok I see your point, but Barkley wouldn't be my first choice. I don't see much difference in any of the QB's, as they all have strengths and weaknesses, but when you look at other positions like OT, OG, WR, and TE, the pickings become slimmer after pick 10, with the exception of WR, which is pretty deep this year.
