Watching Rosen play week 1 in College Station didn't leave me super impressed, but it was only the first game of the year and The Kyle Field. I'll give him a pass. He did show good poise and pocket presence. If it wasn't for Justin Evans incredibly athletic performance at safety, Rosen and UCLA take that game. Peterman is better than you think, but of course it's all opinion. Not saying he's a savior but I would make a wager that he starts the year So QB3 behind Tyrod and Yates. I don't think Cardale is going to be a part of the rebuild with a new GM and Coach McD - I could be wrong. If Peterman shows good promise, he could supplant Yates at the backup role. I agree with you on QB purgatory, it has set us back - among other boneheaded front office decisions since drafting Todd Collins to present day. About Darnold and Rosen going 1, 2...could easily happen but these discussions happen every year right? Remember Barkley, Hackenberg, etc..? All supposed to be top 5 guys the year before they were drafted but things happen and other guys like Trubiski and Goff come out of nowhere to become a #2 overall pick.

GM will come in and decide whether or not they want to work out a long-term deal. Also there is the option of franchising for two more seasons at worst/best, depending on how you look at it. Also, you could just let him hit the market.

I think we take Barnett if available at 10 over WR. I'm not yet sold on Williams, Davis and Ross - especially Top 10. Barnett had like 28 sacks against SEC teams versus what, 11 for Garrett? I'm an Aggie fan by association of living near here and I think the talent gap is small between Garrett, Thomas and Barnett. I personally like Thomas the best, but he is in a different mold of a player. I see him more as a Justin Smith versus say a pure edge rusher.

I went to a couple of A&M games this year and I really liked what I saw out of Reynolds. I think he could be taken as early as the late 2nd and last no longer than the 4th. His upside is very good and he was great in the games I went to. Throwing to him was an auto first down and is an incredible possession receiver. He also is a great red zone target. Another guy I like from A&M not named Myles Garrett is the Safety, Justin Evans. Possible 2nd round pick as well.

I was a big fan of Leonard Johnson's coming out of college. Went undrafted but became a starting corner in Tampa. In 2014 when Lovie Smith took over and installed the Tampa 2, and Johnson was used in a rotation. That 2014 Bucs team was downright awful. Johnson I think broke his leg preseason the next year and was released or waived. Patriots picked him up which shows they thought he could play. Think he got injured again either that year or the following year when he played for the Panthers. If he can get through not being injured and he can play some zone coverage in McDermott's 4-3, he'll be okay.

Or you'll probably just do it in Madden, ha ha.

Of course! Hoping the kid can make a good transition to the pros. Not like it is terribly impressive, but after completing a drill that went great during his pro day, Burris did a standing backflip which drew the loudest cheers from the SDSU pro day.

Right. Obviously he has a large room for improvement, but he has shown a great deal of playmaking ability, dedication and nose for the football and seems to never give up on plays. There's a reason why he is not a round 1-4 type of player, but anyone in the later rounds can surprise in the NFL.

Sorry to have posted no information but his name before. I have a couple of good friends who go to SDSU and for the last couple of years have been raving about this linebacker there, Miles Burris. As a junior, Burris was named to the all-MWC first team while also being the Mountain West's sack and tackles-for-a-loss leader (2010). He recorded team-leading totals in tackles (80), tackles for a loss (20) and sacks (9.5). Leading into the 2011 campaign in what was his senior year, Burris was the fourth Aztec to be named to the preseason Lombardi Watch list which includes current Bills' linebacker, Kirk Morrison (2003 and 2004). As an FYI, the annual Rotary Lombardi Award honors the top lineman in the Football Bowl Subdivision. Eligibility for the award is limited to down linemen, end-to-end, either on offense or defense, who set up no farther than 10 yards to the left or right of the ball, or linebackers who set up no farther than five yards deep from the line of scrimmage. On to 2011: Burris was once again selected to the All-Mountain West Conference First Team for a second straight year (voters include the eight head coaches and a select media panel). He is the first Aztec to do so since, you guessed it, Kirk Morrison (2002-2004). The senior leads the Aztecs in tackles (72), tackles for loss (19.0), sacks (8.0) and fumble recoveries (3).
