I didn't have seasons to the Ags but went to quite a few games and gave been following them religiously since.
Watched every game this year.
Jalen dropped because Zach Calzada took over for Haynes King at the beginning of the season who got hurt in early September. Aggies we're ranked top 5 going into the season if you remember.
Calzada was okay but nothing special at all which led the to the Aggies only being a fringe top 25 team this year.
Despite that Wydermyer was still a 2021 Mackey Award Finalist.
He continued to impress me each game despite sub-par QB play.
With Allen throwing the rock, the sky is the limit for him.
From the guys I've watched, I would like:
TE Jalen Wydermyer, Texas A&M
DL Micheal Clemons, Texas A&M
LB Aaron Hansford, Texas A&M
S Leon O'Neal Jr., Texas A&M
RB ZaQuandre White, South Carolina
WR Jequez Ezzard, Sam Houston State
Watching him play a couple times.
Playing against top SEC talent.
Bills top 30 visit.
Now that we got Elam, it makes Emerson less likely... Though last year I wanted Basham and Bills went D-line with both 1st and 2nd... so who knows!
Well this is neat and fun!
Any rounds?
Two picks I’d LOVE:
LB Devin Llyod
TE Jalen Wydermyer
Two picks I expect:
CB Martin "MJ" Emerson
RB ZaQuandre White
Two picks I’ll settle for:
CB Kaiir Elam
WR Skyy Moore
Excellent news!
He was the one and only player I wanted that draft.
Moved back to Buffalo from Houston that year and got to watch Ed a few times - saw so much potential. He has lots of room to grow!
For me, a 1st round no is RB.
There is no one dynamic enough to take in the first round that truly stands out from the pack in college football.
I think the RB depth is there.
Someone may like Hall or Walker enough to take near the bottom of round 1 and that's okay, but it's just not for me in this year's draft.
There are other guys we could get a bit later like:
- Allgeier
- Cook
- Spiller
- Robinson
- Ford
- White
As the resident Aggie fan in this board and having watched almost every A&M game of Spillers, he actually was the 2nd best RB in his own team.
Devon Achane is the real gem.
Spiller is solid, but he's not worthy of our 1st round pick. He's a late 2nd round guy at best right now - though this 2022 RB class is very weak at the top. Solid depth throughout the mid rounds like Spiller, Cook, and those kind of guys.
What's funny is how everyone here is joshing Josh for his conversation.
It was early in the morning in the Bahamas, and Josh was on the West Coast that morning and probably had just woken up.
It was the 6-7am hour.
My draft 💤 er is Aggie's LB Aaron Hansford.
The dude is a baller and is going to thrive in the right system at the next level.
He plays with a level of aggression and has great tackling fundamentals.
