The state of the Buffalo Bills
HuSeYiN1978 replied to San Jose Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know this has absolutely nothing to do with what your comment was but, I always wondered why people put an "an" before abbreviations when the actual word wouldn't need an "an". For example. You said high ranking as an FA meaning free agent so really you're saying high ranking as an free agent when it should be "a". Sorry I'm bored. -
This kid is nasty, WOW Dwayne Frampton, WR ASU
HuSeYiN1978 replied to Damond Talbot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't even watch the video but I trust my fellow bills fans judgements so I say no thank you also... -
This guy walker is a lunatic. He didn't even have Barnett in the top 40...
-
Ahhhhhh you see? Now here's a site I like thanks. It even got good music...
-
I'm going with this Ingram kid. I took a good look at him in the east vs. West practices and the game itself and I think he will be this draft's Pierre Paul...
-
Well I got all the info I need as far as what I asked for... Thanks to all...

You have a point. I still like Mayock I just can't trust his QB analysis anymore. But you're right. The draft is definitely 50 percent scouting skill and 50 percent luck. I really do like this guy Charles Davis's breakdown of players also. He's always at the pro days and the combine and also does commentary. He's young and I believe he will be mentioned in the same sentence as the Kipers and the Mayocks in years to come. So being that the NFL draft is your hobby, do you have a top 5 prospects list for each position yet? Or are you waiting for the combine to add a few names?
-
I guess none of em lol... I kind of really like Charles Davis from the NFL network also. I'm pretty sure Mayock, Casserly and hundreds of others had Gabbert rated the best QB but being that I followed Mayock heavily and trusted his analysis is the reason for me losing respect for his judgment. The guy was so passionate about Gabbert he would have bet his house on him. I guess I will follow Charles Davis.

Cool thanks...

First off I would like to say that I haven't been on any other websites like TBD where Bills fans give their thoughts on the team, players and pretty much everything else in the world. I personally think you guys are the smartest football fans there is to be honest with you. The way some of you guys do your homework and gather information about college players ready to make the leap into the NFL is ridiculous. Ridiculous in a good way that is. My situation is this. I'm not one to follow college players at all and what I used to do before the scouting combine is I used to put the NFL Network on and on the bottom of the screen it would always scroll "Mayock's top 5 CB's, or Mayock's top 5 QB's" and so on. What I used to do was write down those top 5 guys and start watching their moves in the combine "if they decided to even go" and become a scout myself. Then I would put 3 stars on a player I really liked, 2 stars for someone I liked, and 1 star for someone I wouldn't mind having if we drafted him. Here's my problem. I know Mayock is a professional and most importantly human. He can make mistakes. But after the way he talked about Blaine Gabbert being the best QB he's ever seen this and he's going to be the greatest that? I lost all respect for his evaluation of players. Now my question is I still would like to do my little scouting job (for lack of a better word) come time of the combine so, who else can I follow besides Mayock to give me a heads up on who to look for or who has lists of top 5's? Or maybe instead of all the other threads I'm seeing on TBD, if some of you knowledgeable guys would put up a whole list of your top 5 CB's, QB's, TE's, etc.... Thanks.

Forget compensatory picks. Let's just bank on the picks we DO have.

Dave Wannstedt Interview on Sportsnet 590
HuSeYiN1978 replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When did Edwards take a back seat approach and when did Wannstedt play a bigger role last year? Can you provide a link that provides truth to what you said please? That's an article I MUST read... -
Yawn!

Good news good news... Let's keep the positive actions going...

Nothing really else to talk about...

http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2012/02/15/afc-east-player-rankings/ Looks like Barnett and George Wilson will crack the top 20 in the AFC East rankings at least.

Who cares? If or not Reed gets in, I doubt we'll see another Bill get in for at least 30 years. We barely have pro bowlers on the squad let alone HOF'ers....

Bills getting 5th for Lynch Confirmed
HuSeYiN1978 replied to zevo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even though I wouldn't call getting rid of Lynch (1st rounder) for a 4th round pick last year and a 5th round choice this year a good trade, I'm just glad we have two dependable RB's on the squad now. Last year's pick for Lynch (Hairston) wasn't that bad a pick so if we can find a talent in the 5th round this year who can contribute and be an attribute? I'd say it would end up working out for both sides. Now if the 4th round pick we got for Evans turns out to be a contributor and possible future starter? That would definitely make Nix look like he knows what the hell he's doing. -
Albert Haynesworth released again
HuSeYiN1978 replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That all could be very true but what I ask myself is how can someone (even if they're rich) play football, especially in the trenches as a DT, not want to get after the QB? Just don't get it. -
Thanx adam. But just to point something out. I'm not a very good talker. When I get upset I either hit the person or curse them out. So I really don't look at myself as someone having class. The only reason I didn't curse out that pdaddy dude is because I got an email from Beerball and another one from Just Jack saying that they're warning me about cursing and that I'm very close to being kicked off the site. So I guess classy is the way I gotta be because that dude is definitely not worth losing TBD for. I love it here...

Yea she's 8 and me and my girlfriend wanted to take her with us. AND?
-
First off don't ever in your life question my manhood before I start talking bout family members up in here... You always get upset when someone disagrees with you dude. You need a hug. Im bout to take my daughter and my girlfriend out for Valentine's. Try and do the same. Maybe also drink some milk. If you're lactose intolerant try soymilk. Don't forget the hug though. Also don't forget the giant game...

Writing on a board about to give your response a score, "the energy is intense as the crowd waits to see what the judge's score is" the anouncer says. "Oh My God. I can't believe it. The judge has scored the post at 10 out of 10 ladies and gentlemen. Let's give a big hand for our winner"
-
Ummm first of all you absolutely made no sense. You started off talking about how you disagreed that 20 out of 32 IS great instead of not great like I said and then you started talking as if I said we need a new QB and then you named players that are top 20 in their position (which you forgot to mention Moorman, Lindell, Wilson and Chandler) and then you proceeded to tell me how our changing of running backs was really not an upgrade when in fact it was (except for Spiller taking over Fred's job, yes I'm team Fred all the way). Mcgahee was good but when we got Lynch it brought a different energy (beast mode) to that position. I wasn't a fan of letting Lynch go until I saw what a real beast Fred is. I wouldn't trade Fred for Lynch today if you asked me therefore Fred IS an upgrade over Lynch. So at this point I don't even know what to debate with you about because you made no sense as to what I posted.

Ranking 20 out of 32 is not great... If we were talking math, ranking 20th out of 32 is a failing grade. Or let's say your kid comes home and says hey mom and dad guess what? In my class of 32 students I'm the 20th. If it were a class of geniuses I'm sure you wouldn't mind. Such is not the case with NFL QB's. There's only top ten material. If we want to make the playoffs it would help if our QB ranked in the top ten meaning he was accurate and/or his receivers caught the balls he threw. I'm not here saying Fitz is or isn't the guy that will take us to the playoffs but what I AM saying is if we want to make the playoffs? It would help if Fitz ranked in the top ten in overall rankings. It still won't b a given because he finished 14th this year but top ten would help.
