Detroit is not incredibly strong right now. They get dismantled by good teams, and they pour it on bad teams and talk themselves up. Of course those wins build momentum and they're not bad by any means, but they have less maturity, that's for sure.
I'll be the first to admit that as recently as his first snap in the first preseason game against Washington last year (happened right in front of me, as I was sitting about 20 rows away from him at FedEx Field), I was full of criticism for him. I said he looked awkward and had a terrible throwing motion. That he had no accuracy and I hoped to God that Trent wouldn't get injured yet again. I'm also perfectly happy to be wrong about him. I'm pretty much in love with the guy. I am cautious when rooting for him though- what with his horrible long ball accuracy.
No problem. Even before I joined and was able to post on the BBMB, I read your threads and voted for you. Back when I was in the Army I trained for a year in Texas in the middle of nowhere where I couldn't see the Bills games, so I know what it's like not being able to see your team and be stuck on a base somewhere, ha. But that's awesome man, 5 weeks in a row now you get to see the Bills. People have to be scratching their heads. lol.
I don't understand how this guy was cut and then only signed to a practice squad. Come to think of it, I don't understand why he was undrafted. He led the SEC in sacks his senior year, he is the third all time leader in sacks in Auburn history (that's an amazing pedigree), he's not undersized...looked awesome in camp and preseason, too. What gives?
I love how she mentions that you posted a link to this forum, where everyone was talking about her boobs/lips/cleavage. Sure she enjoyed when she "HAD to go check it out..."
I made this reference to my girlfriend- who thought the trade was a GREAT idea (used to be a Bengals fan until I forcefully pointed her in the right direction of fandom). However, I thought the situation was similar- but Carson a Drew Bledsoe clone? Are you kidding me? Drew Bledsoe was a sniff away from the hall of fame if he won the SB against the Pack, and he had a cannon for an arm. He was much more valuable pre-Bills.
...Atlanta/Cleveland, 2011 NFL Draft, comes to mind.
They do have an easy schedule (we all get Miami twice, though)- KC, Pitt, Indy, Denver- all really easy games. Not much easier than us, though. So they must have one of the stronger schedules since we have, what, the second hardest in the league?
