You're either really really good at this, or really really bad at this. In any case, your willing participation has generated overwhelmingly positive effects on my mood today.

That, of course, makes Brady the GOAT, and Montana close behind, if not right there. It of course also means Joe Flacco and Eli Manning are pretty up there, and Dan Marino and Jim Kelly are pretty far down the list. So there's that. But the only point made there is that apparently the GOAT list is pretty hard to quantify.

But how many polymers do we need? Can we carry all of them? Should I bring a backpack? Should I bring a six pack? Can I MAKE either of those out of the polymers once I get there?

To be fair, we've seen Fitzpatrick and Taylor do this before. Fitz did it against the Bengals in Stevie's breakout game, at the least, but you could say the others where he racked up the stats and got the win were more Fred Jackson than him. Tyrod did it against the Titans in his first year with us. Nobody caught his passes all game, so he took things into his own hands in the 4th quarter.

I think the criteria needs to be specified. If you consider wins, pre-snap recognition, throwing mechanics, and longevity to be important, it's probably Brady. If you consider it to be a player whose play fully embodied every technical attribute of the prototypical NFL QB, it's probably Peyton Manning. If you consider it to be mental and physical ability to not only throw from the pocket, but move around and improvise, scramble for a gain, make unconventional plays via unique physical ability, and produce stats and wins while doing it, it could be Rodgers. If your criteria is all three, and you want to wait about 20 years, it will be Josh Allen. ?

Right? It's just crazy to me how a negative opinion of someone can shape an entire false narrative of various details about that person. I'm so happy with Beane, and he seems like the hardest working GM we've had, but Whaley was on the road scouting, probably, the MOST out of our GMs.

Yes. This is what I was getting at. Culture is not morality or honesty or whatever individual thing people come up with. It's a common way of being, across an organization, that is not only inherently part of every employee's actions, but also understood by them. Culture is so much closer to "what it means to be a Bill," than it is that "players here have good character." I don't care if it's a team of scum bags; if everyone is on the same page, works together towards a goal, adhering to and believing in a system, doing what everyone else does and understanding why that's important, that's a good culture (although I hesitate to define it, since a good culture can be so so much more and come in different flavors).

Seems like a lot of people in this thread don't understand what culture means. NE, for instance, has the strongest culture of any organization I've ever seen.
