  1. I, for one will ll be glad to get rid of the band-waggoners, the reporters, and the other distractions. Time to play football. 9-7 baby! YEAH!
  2. look, I'm a fan, but not a sheep. Chan is really gonna have to show me something against a team we should be completely dismantling. 45-10 is the final score I'd like to see.
  3. Punctured lungs, a good quaterback does not make. Romo is a terrible leader, an average quarterback, and a lousy dresser. That said he DID bone Jessica Simpson (Before she got fat) So he deserves some credit, but not as a quarterback.
  4. We're not good enough to use language like "Easy win". Not yet. This is a Cincy team that can hurt us if we fail to take them seriously. I think this may be the biggest "statement" game yet. (The one after the last statement game.)
  5. At this point the threat of Merriman is worth more than the actual player. the guy's best days are clearly behind him. Unless he does another roid cycle, do not expect too many "lights out dances." from this guy. Tom Brady had enough time to do his taxes in that pocket. With a healthy Aaron Hernandez, we lose that game by ten or more. I'm officially filing Shawne Merriman in the "better than nothing section" of my fanbook.
  6. Guys all over the league were dropping like flies. They were sayin on NFL live that it was the lack of conditioning that resulted from a late camp and no OTA's. I tend to agree.
  7. This is an excellent point to bring up. I'm pleased with the results too, but other teams are jotting down our weaknesses. the pass rush (or lack thereof) Must be addressed.
  8. Hate to see a guy hurt. Still, I hope the refs look the other way when WE play them.
  9. Yep. Shades of '93. Fitz is also wearing Reich's old number. Coincidence? Probably. Still, coming back is definitely a part of Bills DNA. -Just not in Superbowls.
  10. Easy guys. 13 more to go.
  11. Thanks! Negative is sounding mighty good for once. Hope he makes a full recovery.
  12. Guy left it all out there today. I'm pulling for him.
  13. Just a concerned fan. Hate to see our guys on stretchers.
  14. What? I'm not on the team? Yahh right, next you'll be telling me we didn't beat the Raiders last week. I dunno about anyone else, but I'm really proud of us. Question is, what's up with YOU?
  15. This Pats team is simply a juggernaut. They make adjustments better than any team I can think of. Only reason why Eli and the New York (New Jersey) Giants beat them in '08 was the Giants other-worldly defense. They haven't had a defense that talented (when motivated) since then. Also, with the addition of Burress they had the ability to score almost at will. I think if we can score tit for tat with them, we may have a chance late in the game to get a key stop, and then close it out at home. But we HAVE TO SCORE TOUCHDOWNS. That means moving the chains, and keeping those three-and-outs to a minimum.
  16. Playoffs?! Lotta work left to do here guys. Sure there's reason for hope, but let's try not to get carried away.
  17. Fitz has really done well the last two Games. Unfortunately he'll need to call on his Harvard background to pass the next test. The Pats believe their guy is the best so they're going to try to humiliate ours. They're going to be on Fitz like flies on a wet turd. Poor guy. I hope Fred is ready for a lot of carries.
  18. Disgusting. Really disgusting. Probably why Fitz's chinstrap can't get a good bite on his face.
  19. With all due respect, we may be asking (and answering) the WRONG question. One of the OP's on this board once commented that Brady had time to eat a sandwich before throwing strikes. What they neglected to mention was that he also had time to MAKE that sandwich before leisurely consuming it. My point is this: Brady is good at making it LOOK LIKE he's what's hurting teams, but what if he isn't? On Sunday I saw a Charger team so focused on corraling Brady that they allowed Hernandez, Gronkowski, Welker, and Branch to shred them. No matter what, Brady WILL get the ball off to one of those guys. Why not focus on neutralizing his targets? Yah sure, our secondary is AWFUL. So what? Are we just supposed to accept that as fans? Whatever happened to GETTING BETTER? Pushing yourself. -Any of these sound familiar? The Chargers secondary (also lousy) refused to commit to neutralizing his weapons. If throwing the ball looks unappetizing to Brady, They'll have no choice but to pound the rock. I like our chances much better if we drag them into a ground and pound conflict.
  20. He was three points away from losing to a team whose COMBINED SAT SCORE wasn't 1580!
  21. I say one more chance. Then we treat him just like we treated Trent. If QB's can't play in the tradition of Kelly, then we don't need them. Any reciever that won't play in the tradition of Tasker and Reed should go too.
  22. Period. He's the unsung hero of the day. Guy made some absolutely beautiful plays out there today. We lose that game without Fred.
  23. Him and Florence are a HUGE liability in that secondary. I'd rather address that sooner as opposed to later. Byrd is the only one back there that seems somewhat consistent.
  24. Get a clue guys, this is typical Merriman. Talk up a storm and then hide out in the back. Since '09, the guy has had more hits on Tila Tequila than anyone else. Just a matter of time before he's on I/R. -Time for a young guy to step up and take his belt.
  25. Good job on the comeback Chan, but that 4th and 1 was absolute chickens#@t! At home too! Any other team (but The Raiders) smells that kind of blood in the water and we get our butts handed to us.
