If Anthony Johnson isn't a Bill this time next year I will be seriously depressed.

I'm not feeling this "mentor" situation at all... For one thing, Allen isn't the type to need a mentor... Secondly, their personalities may not be conducive to that type of arrangement. If Derek turns out to be effective, Josh may not like it one bit... Even if Derek is mediocre, Josh may not appreciate the threat he poses. I like Anderson, but bringing him in with "mentoring" expectations doesn't seem well thought-out. -Or necessary.

I'd go ahead and grab both... Johnson in the 2nd, and Jackson around the 4th... Some see Tyree as a 3rd, but that seems a bit high... Depends on how the MAC shakes out for UB, and how Tyree does in UB's Bowl game...

Drafting another QB is just good business... I can't believe people are so dam sensitive about Allen being supplanted.

Per usual, I was light years ahead of the pack on this one: Shoulda done it before trading away McCarron, who would have been the best QB on our roster. Let me give you guys another hot tip... After the McDoomed regime passes, I'd seriously consider Stanford's Dave Shaw as our new HC... He's got NFL creds, and experience being a shot-caller... Would change everything, IF he would ever leave Stanford.

I can't for the life of me figure out why a team would make OBJ the focal point of their offense... One-handed grabs look nice on TV, but what value do they have over the course of a season? What about TE's, and big, rangy, pass catchers?... To focus your offense on OBJ is to completely not understand football.

And how effing sad is that? Our best receiver is a 30 year old RB, who to date hasn't gotten us any better than second place in the AFCE. I can appreciate hwo talented McCoy is, which is exactly why I deal him to help rebuild this team.
