  1. I've been saying it for a while now, The strength and conditioning staff on this team SUCKS. Our guys are always hurt, look out of shape, and get gassed WAY to quickly. I haven't seen four quarters out of a Bills defense in quite some time. Yet another reason to hasten the coming of a new regime.
  2. The fact is, this latest incarnation of Ryan Fitzpatrick is Gailey's own handiwork! It was Gailey who pushed for Fitz to be given a long-term contract. And Gailey who decided a last year to stick with Fitz no matter what. Interceptions, Bad play, Broken ribs, -it didn't matter. It's Gailey's psychotic determination to stay a dysfunctional course That's killing our team! I'd even submit that during Gailey's tenure, Fitzpatrick has REGRESSED as a QB! The guy was never lights out, but in the last ten games, Fitz has performed horrendously! Gailey is a loser. He's lost wherever he went, and been fired from every job he's ever had. The Kordell Stewart years aside, the man has had a lousy career. His loser mentality is now hobbling our team on both sides of the ball. The only way to change this deep-rooted culture of failure is to destroy is at it's source. FIRE CHAN GAILEY. And shortly after that, FIRE DAVE WANNSTEDT. That's where the road forward starts.
  3. It's not just that Chan ain't the man. -He's not even A MAN. Selfish, Cowardly, Pig-headed, Can't admit when he's wrong, Prefers saving face over reversing a disastrous course. It's like OBD put the future of this team in the hands of my father in-law! Gailey has not made ONE responsible decision since taking over this team. Do the right thing for once in your chickens#!t life, Gailey. -RESIGN!
  4. Nope, Geno isn't a good fit for Gaileys ultra-complex, German enigma machine offense. Since we'd rather hang on to Gailey's "offensive genius", we'll never take the kid.
  5. Here's my theory. VY's presence on the sideline made Fitz very uncomfortable. Fitz knew that after one of his mult-pick horror-shows, the fans, AND THE MEDIA would be hounding Chan to give VY a chance. While Vince was indeed BAD at times during preseason, his big arm and mobility gave him tremendous upside. -This is where Gailey's treachery becomes evident. -We all know that VY struggled with Chan's (excuse for an) offense. Still, Vince was capable of making plays outside Gailey's brutal blueprint for third-and-longs. There was a chance that IF he were called upon, VY's ability to improvise, and extend drives would make a mockery of Chan's "complex" offense, and expose Fitz's meager talents as a QB. VY had to go. Chan couldn't risk him AND the QB he stuck-by being exposed as frauds. -Especially since he lobbied hard for Fitz's huge payday. So, the short answer to why VY wasn't kept is a simple one. JOB SECURITY. -Both Gailey's and Fitzpatrick's. The theory also explains Thigpen's presence on our QB-laden roster. At the moment, Thigpen poses no threat to Fitz. -In fact he's a buddy. Thiggy is just a harmless and familiar face who's style of play poses no immediate threat to Gailey's "scheme". However, things Change. I'm not so sure that Thiggy hasn't gotten better watching the train wreck that is Ryan Fitzpatrick. -It's a thought. It could be that these last two games have driven me mad, but at this point, I say WHY NOT THIGPEN? In my experience, situations like this one, can have bizarre endings. I'm up for anything. This team is just THAT BAD.
  6. Wow. I totally forgot about Stephens-Howling. -This could be a longer day than I thought. LaRod Stephens-Howling was an absolute creature at Pitt. Extremely gifted downhill runner. Some juke, -Burst when he needs it, The fact that Wanny recruited both him and LeSean McCoy while at Pitt could work in our favor. -I doubt it though. Stephens -Howling has been waiting for a game like this to show what he can do. The guy can SCOOT. Stopping him could be problematic.
  7. Chan sucks. Final Score: Arizona 37 Buffalo 10 Kolb: 270yds, 4TDs, INT, Fitz: 148yds, 1TD, 3 INT, 1 Fum, Fitzgerald: 5 catches for 100yds, 3 TD's
  8. Armchair, this is wonderful news! Two of the three biggest problems on this team are about to go down in Flames together! Gailey is a stubborn old coot, who couldn't coach a squirrel up a tree. Fitz is the worst QB I've ever seen Play. I thought it was Jamarcus Russell, but I was wrong. I say let them keep right on going! Soon the stink of the '12 Buffalo Bills will get so bad that the fans AND the media will be driven away. The sports anchors will inevitably chime-in and turn up the heat on OBD. Perhaps you feel sorry for the delusional, terrified old man standing on the sideline wearing a Bills cap -Well DONT. He deserves everything that's about to come to him. -Come Sunday, he'll officially be the laughing stock of the NFL coaching world, and the Bills will be the punchline to every sports joke in America. This is what has to happen in order to turn this horrible page. Chan must leave immediately, with Wanny, and Fitzpatrick in tow. Buddy can either pull the trigger, or say goodbye to the last NFL job he'll ever have.
  9. Excuse me but Wilson is the QB for the Seahawks because he WON THAT JOB. He beat out a more experience, high-priced, (and taller) competitor because he was just that good. Like I tell everyone, Wilson is just getting started. Just getting a feel for the game, and what he can get away with. He's got a team that believes in him, and so far he hasn't let them down. Give the kid a chance. His defense is playing for him and they're winning games. Btw, great post. -I'll be saving it to rub your nose in later.
  10. It's been a whole ten minutes since I've said FIRE CHAN GAILEY!!!! -There. I feel better now.
  11. A friend of mine laid a grand on the niners down at the Palms, and that was at -9.5! It' -4.5 and the Cards really need a bounce-back game, I can't see a better opportunity than Sunday. I expect Fitzgerald to GO OFF! Love my Bills forever, but I held back last week, and left all kinds of money on the table. This isn't about sentimentality. it's about cold, hard, cash.
  12. Hey LV, did you lay the wood on the niners and the over? That right there was the easiest money on the entire frickin' board. -Wynn has next week as -4.5 Cardinals. Sounds like more easy money to me.
  13. Any other team, and this fail would be a debacle. Multiple firings would ensue. Our "D" has given up almost 1300 yards of offense in just 2 games!!!! We're losing games by four TD's after having 21-point leads. There's no discipline, control, or pride on either side of the ball. Time's up Gailey. You've failed Wannstedt. Get a clue, Mr Nix or your sorry a$$ is out the door as well.
  14. Looks like the Chiefs are WAY ahead of you.
  15. Young, irreverend, -Reminds me of Harbaugh a little. Holgorsen is a fast riser, offensive minded. Lots here to like.
  16. Love geno Smith, but we'll never do what it takes to get him. Vatech's Logan Thomas is my guy. Big. Powerful. Mobile. Has a rocket arm. Ocaisionally struggles with accuracy, but some of that may be due to having an inexp'd reciever corp this year. I've seen him make some excellent throws. Deep balls, crossing routes, fades, he does it all. Looks like a mid 2nd-3rd rounder to me.
  17. It'd be nice. I Don't see it happening though. Jerry Jones will be in the market for QB soon enough. So will high-expectation teams like the Steelers, and the Saints. Geno Smith will likely end up someplace like that, and we'll end up with Chris Simms or some other scrub for our starting QB. As long as Nix/Gailey are running the show, we'll continue to be plagued by questionable decisions. -On and off the field. Dana Holgorsen anyone?
  18. Who's your NT? -Dareus? Anyway, I'm all for it. Once Romeo Crennell is fired from KC, he could be our DC.
  19. Who needs a crystal ball? Fitz should get sacked at least five times tomorrow. Fitz will throw a minimum of two INT's. Most of his pass attempt will either be high, or short. One of our RB's will fumble the ball at least once. One of our recievers will drop a pass in the open field. Our HC will appear lost and disoriented. Our DC will appear lost and disoriented. We'll be down at least two TD's by halftime.
  20. A garbage QB is hard enough to overcome. Add a garbage DC and a Garbage HC, and you have a 4-12 season, at best. If we are able score a single touchdown vs. the niners, I would be shocked.
  21. (**Sigh**) I'm actually too bummed-out to post negative. I just can't believe that after the last two seasons we STILL have a horrible team. I'm completely out of words. Negative, or otherwise.
  22. Sad, but very true.
  23. There are only 3 things we could do to be compettitive against the Niners, and we won't do them. So here they are: 1. Start a different QB. I guess Tarvaris Jackson is still #3 on the depth chart, so he won't be starting anytime soon. 2. Establish the wildcat early, and direct-snap the niners into a stupor. This will also help protect Fitzo's ribs from an imminent pounding. 3. Listen up, Wanny! -You've got to throw a safety or a corner at Alex Smith every once in a while. Alex Smith is still Alex Smith. a few solid licks will knock him off his game. So that's it. -Barring a shakeup on offense, or the addition of more exotic blitz packages, there's no way this game is even close.
