No, no, no! -This is no longer your Daddy's Buffalo Bills... From now on we go a different way... It's gonna be a loooooooong off-season. I'm not crazy about Lovie Smith, IMO, he's just another excuse-maker a-la Chan Gailey... but if he's willing to learn from his mistakes, and offer a WIN NOW approach, I'll give him a fair shot. Norv Turner as OC is a MUST! There is no better option to develop whichever young QB we acquire. Also, our linebackers SUCK, the SEC has got a few we should pursue. We also need to upgrade FS and SS!!! Jairus Byrd needs competition... As does George Wilson. No more Grand-fathering... No more entitlements.. We need competition at EVERY POSITION, and the best man wins. -Period. GO BILLS IN 2013!!!!!!

YEEEEEAAAAHHH! WHOOO-HOOO! This one's for you, Chan! -
It's official, the Bills pick 8th

Let's do whatever we gotta do to draft Robbie Rouse. 5'7" 190, All-time leading rusher at Fresno State! Rushed for over a buck 9 times this season, 58 catches out of the backfield... 12 touchdowns this season... Look, as much as I like Freddy, his best days at RB are DONE... Choice is OK, but has hit his ceiling in terms of usefulness. Robbie Rouse can SCOOT.. Perfect compliment to Spiller, IMHO. Look for him in the 5th round... 6th is a possibility, but I doubt he lasts that long. -
Peter king says Chan gone on Monday...

Sanchez to start this weekend vs. Bills

-And more humiliating for Gailey. If Jersey beats us the same way they did in September, it's an endictment of Gailey, and his inability to get a team prepared. If we lose by something north of three touchdowns, and the fans show their ire, he could be gone by next week. -YAY! Remember the chant.... GAY-LEE SUCKS!... GAY-LEE SUCKS!... -
Gailey is about to be shown up by a CLOWN HC in Ryan, A JUNK OC in Sparano, and a ROOKIE BACKUP in Greg McElroy, This should come in handy. Gamegoers chant: GAY-LEE SUCKS!.... GAY-LEE SUCKS!.....
-
Been watching Hunt for a couple seasons now. Kid seems like a real overachiever. Well worth a 4th, IMO.
-
Get this chant down: GAY-LEE SUCKS!... GAY-LEE SUCKS!.... An hour, or so of that should be enough to convince OBD that he should be fired.

We know Chan's a goner. Here's Ralph's list.

Love the idea, but Fangio ain't going nowhere. -He's got too good of a thing going in Frisco. No way he'd leave a team that's going places, for OBD. No way. -
Chan, really nice guy. Gotta go.

Umm.... That isn't bathwater, and that's certainly no baby floating in it. Time to flush this staff. -Nothing here worth keeping. -
Dude, you are SO wrong. Trust me, Just because Wilson avoids hits, DOES NOT mean he can't take one. This kid is WAY, tougher than you think. However, he's not a simpleton, so don't expect him to needlessly take on ends and LB's. There's something else you havent figured on... It is VERY HARD for a big, flying, LB, or DE to get a decent bead on a little guy like Wilson. #1 He's diminutive #2 He's elusive. Seven times out of ten, it'll be a swing and a miss. Even if you're right, and he does get worn down, It'll probably be after he's got a couple NFC titles and/or SBrings. I find it amazing how you haters just keep on comin'.

What Kind of QB Prospect Would You Pick?
#34fan replied to BisonMan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So we're keeping Chan? -Oh, well that's easy. DRAFT A SCRUB. Yah, i said it. Draft a BUM or sign a UDFA who our jacka$$ HC can mold into a third-stringer. If we're going to deal with bottom-feeders when it comes to coaching, let's maintain "continuity" by acquiring athletes accustomed to underachieving. I'm liking Joe Montana's son, Nate. This poor kid had the terrible misfortune of being born the son of a hall-of-famer, and arguably the best to ever "do it". He complicated things by attending Notre Dame (Like dear old Dad) Where, after walking-on to the Irish roster, he sucked his way down to third-string. After transferring to the University of Montana, he promptly picked up a DUI in June of 2011. This young man has "issues". -Four colleges in four years! Finally, in 2012, he completes his college career with Div II West Virginia Wesleyan, where he had a decent year (2480 yds, 19 TD's, 51.6% comp.) Come on! How cool would it be to have a "Montana" in a Bills uni? -VERY cool, I'd say. Nate has absolutely nothing to lose, and he'll come cheap. He'll also draw lots of interest from a bored, disappointed, and disillusioned fanhood that could use a little something to get excited about. -How 'bout it, Chan? 6' 4" 220, Average arm strength. He's not very accurate, but I'm sure Dave Lee can fix him just like he fixed-up Ftz! IMO, This kid fixes multiple problems: He energizes the fanbase, while keeping the current playoff drought in place. Nate Montana is eligible for the draft, and definitely in need of some molding. c'mon, he's Joe Montana's kid. -How bad can he suck? -
I'm sure this type of thing still happens from time to time. -Regardless, He should have kept his mouth shut.

5 Most hated Dolphins of all-Time
#34fan replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lois Oliver. Hands down. I left out the "u" on purpose. Went to high school with some of his kinfolk, and if you think he was an a-hole, you should have met some of them. -DOOSHBAGS! -
Yup. Book it, and stamp my name on it. You sound just like a few Russell Wilson doubters did back in February. -It's laughable. What people like you fail to realize is that QB potential isn't as much about prototypes, as it is about personality types. I feel sad for you because you'll always be behind the curve when it comes to assessing talent. I'll take a shorter kid that's willing to fight, and learn from his mistakes as my QB any day over the walking bundles of stats and "measurables" that people like you drool over. FYI, If I'm wrong about Cousins, I'll gladly own it. RG3, Kirk is definitely NOT. But any rookie that can stand-in for an act like Griffin, and STILL deliver the goods, has something you can't put down on a peice of paper. I'll let you go nuts trying to figure out what that is.

"Never coached a very talented QB?" How would we know? I thought slash was pretty talented. Troy Aikman was pretty good. Troy didn't win d!#k with Gailey. Kordell played almost every position on the field, before getting his shot at starter, and then Gailey was gone. Then you look at a kid like Josh Nesbitt, who Gailey definitely had the chance to mold. What did Chan do for him? I'll tell you what he did. -He turned him into a half-a$$ed safety, and then cut him. I've never exactly been on "Team Fitzpatrick" myself, but can you honestly say that Fitz has flourished in Chan's offense? What about the three other QB's currently varnishing the Bills bench, with no chance of a start, or any hope of development? To me,, this issue is SO black and white, it's not even funny. Giving Chan a gifted pupil, is like giving a toothless man a bag of Granny-Smith apples. Clearly, nothing develops with Gailey. Not his assistants, not his players, and not his offense.
-
If your son was a young star QB, would you want Chan to coach him?
-
Cousins is an absolute ball-hog. Clearly, he wants to be THE GUY somewhere in the NFL. I always knew he was a great leader, and I knew he could play. I didn't like him anywhere near as much as I liked R. Wilson, but Cousins definitely had a spark. That said, I hope he stays THE HELL away from the Bills Roster as long as Gailey is HC. Gailey ruins everything he touches. He did it to Fitz. He did it to our offense. He'll do it to whoever gives him the chance. The man is an embarassment. FIRE CHAN GAILEY!!!!!!!!!!
-
No offense? Ever heard of Rishard Matthews? How about Lamar Miller? If you haven't that's a good thing. -For the Dolphins. Matthews is a seventh-rounder out of Nevada-Reno who was the primary target for a very raw Colin Kaepernick in 2009-10. I wanted him on our roster BADLY. -The Dolphins pulled the trigger on him first. Lamar Miller is a very speedy kid out of the U, who I always felt would flourish under the hot lights. He competes, and thrives under pressure. Btw, like C.J., Lamar is a Miami local. These two could be a NASTY surprise for an overconfident D, expecting a crippled offense. That's IF Ryan Tanneyhill figures out what he's got on his bench.

Oh, It's WAY worse than that. T-Jax could have started WEEKS ago, However If he'd had any success on the field, Gailey would have been exposed for the fraud that he is. Gailey swore by Fitz, and made sure he recieved his lucrative contract. He will destroy both himself, and the future of this team before he admits this was a mistake. Once Gailey chooses a course, he will maintain it to the end. Think about that.
-
I, for one, don't believe Gailey gets heckled, chided, or haranged enough at home games. IMO, he's had an easy go of it, considering his massive failure. For fans going to the Jets game, this could be your LAST CHANCE to save this team. FIRE CHAN GAILEY posters should be in the hands of every Billiever old enough to hold one.Fan complacency has allowed Gailey/Nix to believe we'll accept whater garbage product they put on the field.Vicious verbal harrassment by the Bills fanhood is the only answer. Gailey and his entire coaching staff must go.
-
We worked him out. He was very good. He was there in the third. We took a speed reciever with CLUBS for hands instead. I'm as pissed as you are, OP. However Russell Wilson is guilty of the cardinal sin of WRATH. Sunday he punished Buddy and Chan for their short-sightedness, and stupidity. -I'm very happy for the kid.

The "Fire Chan Gailey Now!" petition.
#34fan replied to RogerNapalm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
OK, what's it gonna take? Pitchforks..? Torches...? What's the justification of hanging on to a coach as routinely unprepared as Chan Gailey? It's clear that both him and Buddy have zero clue what they're doing. -
http://www.star-telegram.com/2012/12/16/4489365/cowboys-support-decision-to-have.html I couldn't believe it myself. TERRIBLE move by the Cowboys. Terrible example for the younger players. It's unthinkable that after killing his own teamate, Brent should be allowed to pal-around on the sideline as if nothing happened. -I'm sickened at this horrific lapse in Judgement by the Cowboys FO. Thoughts?
