If I were trying to sell my less-than-talented first round QB, this is EXACTLY how I would go about doing it. -Cut down my roster, and then surround my gleaming prospect with training camp shrubbery. Flame me all you want. If I'm wrong about this then GREAT! I would be positively ecstatic if none of this came to pass. -However, this reeks of a scam. I'd like to hear the reason for signing this dead-arm kid to our roster.

What a total SET-UP! Why not bring back Vince Young or Levi Brown? Because neither of those guys are bad enough to make Nassib look good! I don't think a little life-choice instruction is out of order considering the revenue of the larger programs ... I think it should be a part of team-building, and even practices. Watching kids get shot, stabbed, locked-up, or otherwise RUINED every summer is getting old. -Just sayin'.

Vaccaro is decent, but prefer Devonte Holloman @ SS.. -Matt Elam, or D.J. Swearinger can replace Byrd @ FS if we don't sign him...

Some of these kids walk straight out of hell, and into a Bama classroom, but why isn't there some process of de-briefing them from these damaging experiences? Bottom line... I'd like to see the NFL (which is where these kids hope to go) take a more active role in behavioral transitioning for NCAA athletes....

Dangit Pettine, DON'T STOP NOW! -McGee, and Kelsay, can both be upgraded too. If any franchise is gonna build a vaunted D through the draft, this would be the year to start doing it. It sucks, but nice guys get old, and unproductive too. When they do, they need to move on to other things for the good of the team. It's sad, but... I'M OVER IT!!!! Bring on Blitz-a-palooza, Baby!

LOVE IT!!!!!! Couple of class guys we cut today, No reflection on their character for sure. However, this game is about gettting younger, faster, and stronger in all aspects. Myself, and several others suggested a move like this weeks ago... Hopefully, it means we attack the draft with defensive rejuvenation in mind. -For LB, SS, and S, the draft looks like a frickin' smorgasbord Mant'i Teo... Devonte Holloman... DJ Swearinger.... Matt Elam... Josh Evans.... John Boyett Guys that don't get much press like A.J. Klein, and Will Compton... Oh my! If we follow-through and cut Kelsay in the next few weeks, that opens up the door for names like Zeke Ansah, and Demontre Moore. I, for one, am super-excited at these bold new strokes. To be honest, -It's about frickin' time.

Giving Fitz that kind of coin in the first place was like doubling-down on BAD, -but hey that's history. For our next trick, we should try like hell not to repeat it. Most of the available FA QB's could come in here and do a decent Job until Marcus Mariota declares. Matt Moore... Drew Stanton.... You pretty much want a guy like Fitzy's locker cleaned out before the start of OTA's... That's KEY to changing directions, as far as I'm concerned.

Ansah is an incredibly adaptive player with speed, a non-stop motor, and ZERO shyness when it comes to physicality. One year wonder, or not, the guy showed dominance at his level in college. No limit to his upside IMO... He wants the start, and I expect him to meet that goal sooner rather than later. Ansah to NYG =VERY BAD NEWS to NFCE rivals.

While I'm fairly certain that Ryan Nassib IS NOT the devil, I'm also reasonably sure that he is not an upgrade over Fitzpatrick OR Thigpen. It's also obvious that you have not watched this kid play in many games. If you had, you would never say something OUTRAGEOUS like his arm is "certainly as strong or stronger than Tom Brady's and Drew Brees". For those of us who have followed his career, that is just CRAZY TALK. Saying that "he isn't a tremendous running threat like RG III, Cam Newton or Colin Kaepernick", while true, is a horrible, horrible, understatement. -Nassib has more lead in his shoes, than Jimmy Hoffa has in his head. Nassib has ZERO escapability, and cannot consistently get rid of the ball in a quick or accurate manner from the pocket. I cannot imagine what motivating factors (besides desperation) would cause folks to see this kid as anything but a 5th or 6th rounder.. -It's madness, any way you look at it.

Thanks for the heads-up. If he's our starter in '13, it's a MINIMUM three more years of suckdom before we blow another draft, and settle for a different bum in 2017. The abyss seems to widen for this franchise every ofseason.

Wow... Lotta big decisions for OBD. This offseason is either going to be really good, or exceptionally bad. -No middleground with this new staff.
