  1. GORDON GEKKO LIKE A MOFO!!!
  2. Feels like a gradual phasing-out of the game altogether... Pay Roger Goodell to be the bad guy so the owners don't get blamed, and then slowly whittle away at the fanbase. Guess all those lawsuits make the owners position untennable. Wish there were a better way to deal with this... For example, I wouldn't mind paying more for tix and mercahndise, if the cash went to injured players. Doesn't seem fair to ruin the experience to fans who pay good money to see it.
  3. Buddy Nix: The most inept GM to ever make the postseason... Be prepared for WEIRD Bills Nation...In '13 OBD bungles their way to success, and into the history books. -PLAYOFFS BABY!
  4. Every last one. Nassib's highlight reels make you want to draft his recievers.
  5. Doesn't matter... We're playoff bound this season...
  6. Your time online should REALLY be spent trying to earn a GED. -JMO.
  7. Alright, we're down to bare bones... On the bright side, the draft is right around the corner... That means there's at least the POTENTIAL for us to reload in a very short amount of time. I realize that's not much, but it's something... As another poster pointed out, we lost a host of perrennial losers in the past few weeks. -That in itself, is a HUGE positive. Now, if we could just get rid of Buddy.....
  8. He's Better than Aaron Corp... Still, IF TRUE, it just underscores Buddy's bargain basement/swap-meet approach to team building... Wow... On the bright side, the foundation he's gotten from Harbaugh means he should EASILY beat out Nassib for the start. That's IF we make the mistake of drafting the orangeman in the first place.
  9. Fine... Let' just do their senior years. As a senior Wilson completed 72.8% of his passes compared to Nassib's 62.4 Wilson Averaged 11.27 yards pe attempt, compared to Nassib's 7.96 Wilson threw 33 TD's as opposed to Nassib's 26 Wilson went 11-3 as a senior starter, as opposed to Nassib's 8-5 Wilson had a passer rating of 191.78, (higher than Luck's) compared to Nassib's 143.3 I should mention that Wilson did all this in a tougher conference AFTER learning a completely new playbook in three weeks. What's left.... Oh yah, 26RBI's and five homers as a minor league pro baseball player. But seriously, if you think numbers can even BEGIN to illustrate the differences between these two athletes coming out of college, then there's no helping you at all.
  10. No he doesn't, either... Yet, this is what our owner lets Nix get away with time and time again. -Recruiting bargain basement coaches, and swap-meet talent at KEY POSITIONS. I actually agree... BRING IN the new furniture... -But screw all this chitty IKEA crap. Let's go all-in on some Ethan Allen, and get this thing FIXED while we have the opportunity.
  11. I'm saying that Russell Wilson's game, coming out of college, had ZERO deficiencies. All the dumass pro scouts got hung up on was his height. -That's it. Nassib's situation is different. There are significant aspects to his game that lead folks to believe he's not ready for the pro's. Not the least of these being his immobility, inaccuracy, and uncharismatic nature. To be blunt, when I look at Ryan Nassib, I see Russell Wilson's caddy.
  12. You were fine until that last part. -WRONG, but fine. Comparing Wilson's collegiate body of work, to some 8-5 scrub, who's slower than molasses, and owns the personality of cardboard is wrong in ways yet to be discovered by science. You should really track down some footage of Wilson's college games... Sounds to me like you haven't seen any.
  13. Just saw this. -Hilarious!
  14. If you take Tyler Wilson, you had BETTER take Cobi Hamilton with him. Those two go together like butter on toast. Heck, even if you take E.J. you could do alot worse than Hamilton. Either him or Quinton Patton could make Stevie our #2 reciever. Ooooooh! That's right, I said it.
  15. Seattle had 2 stud RB's in lLnch and Turbin, 2 very good wideouts in Tate and Rice.. They got Zac Miller, a very underrated TE from OAK, and a phenom rookie QB who refuses to live down to naysayers expectations. Add to that a potent D-line and an oppressive secondary. So let's recap... They can run with power, throw with confidence, and catch reliably. All while preventing their opponents from doing the same. -The question is WHY can they do that? The answer is simple. They chose well. Doubters will attribute SEA's success to luck, calling the teambuilding process a "crapshoot", but nothing could be further from the truth. To those who know what attributes to look for, the process of choosing players is a science. -However, it isn't ROCKET science. You cannot just draft talent at key positions, you have to draft leadership at those positions too... Pete Carroll didn't just think Wilson had a 'nice arm'... He saw a leader. Someone who was going to walk the walk on every down. He looked at his control of huddles in college and saw a personality that men would follow. SEA also deliberately sought out talent that could be weaponized easily. -A reciever with attitude... A VIOLENT running threat... A HATER in the secondary... and a FEARLESS personality to bring the whole thing together. Buddy just doesn't get it. His criteria for talent has to change in order for us to have any playoff hopes in the near future. We don't need any more "bargain basement finds". We need IMPACT players, pronto. -Not cheap fixes. Do your Job, Buddy!, and if you can't, JUST COPY THE SEAHAWKS.
  16. Yup, and STILL deliver the goods.... When was the last time a Bills QB did that?
  17. E.J. And Tyler are the best of the entire bunch. Period. Either one of those two can start, and PUT POINTS ON THE BOARD immediately. I'm not with all this 'grooming,' and 'finding the right fit for our offense' -What offense?! I have my concerns about E.J. as well as Tyler, but if you've watched these two play in college, you wouldn't even be thinking about Ryan Nassib. Geno Smith has a tremendous arm, but he's not the type of QB that puts the team on his back, and guts-out a win. Both E.J. and Tyler can give you that. These kids WANT TO PERFORM... I like Geno... He's super talented. I wouldn't HATE him as our QB. -But Geno is not the best QB option available. In a QB crop as sketchy as this one, it's imperative to pick the cream.
  18. Matt Scott, I don't care for... Poor field vision, forces too many plays... May turn into something, but bears no resemblance to Russell Wilson IMO... I think E.J. Manuel is much closer to what we need... For my money, I prefer either him or Tyler Wilson. Tyler Wilson and Cobi Hamilton really LIT IT UP at Ark... Wouldn't mind those two as a combo package..
  19. Agreed... This conversation ID's Buddy as a total SHMUCK, and lets our divisional rivals know they've got ZERO to worry about.. More blood in the water as the sharks circle. Thanks for posting it Jauron... hell of a find.
  20. Denario Alexander boss-hogs it out there. Gotta have a guy to get him the ball, tho... Wouldn't mind that signing at all.
  21. Man, oh man, was he ever lousy. The only people who would consider drafting Tuehl are folks who never watch Pac-12 football. Keith Price is clearly the best college QB in WA.
  22. Bah, The rich just getting richer.... All while Buddy seeks to fill our bare cupboards with junk QB's... He really should have left with Chan.
  23. If Garrard stays healthy, He could easily threaten sanchez. -Maybe even depose him like he's done a couple times in the past. This guy woulda been the perfect stopgap QB.
  24. David Garrard game winning drives=18 (since 2002) Ryan Fitzpatrick game winning drives=7 (since 2005) Andy Luck, and Russell Wilson have 7 and 5 GWD's respectively, -Both have been in the league FIVE MINUTES and are already proving to be more clutch than Fitz ever was. I'm not sure if anyone on this thread has gone on record as saying that "Garrard is WAY better than Fitz". -However, I submit that "clutch" is infinitely better than the alternative. I'd like to have a guy under center that isn't guaranteed to "blow it" in the final moments of a close game.
